No lunch or dinner service available at this time! Frozen soup for purchase only! Can be purchased in person or on delivery apps. Soups are very tasty!

A delight from beginning to end. Friendly staff, delicious soups, salads and sandwiches, a full spirits, beer and wine list and an owner who can mix up a mean cocktail... and on top of all of that, a non-profit organization whose mission it is to end homelessness in Portland, starting by putting great people through a 12-week training program for hospitality job placement. You can't ask for more. A tasty lunch counter just by itself, then top if off with a great cause... I'd come in for lunch every day!

I can't say enough about this organization. What they do, who they are, and the food they serve are all why I support them wholeheartedly. Eat well, feel good, and do better for Portland. Could you ask for more? Thank you Stone Soup for doing what you do in our community. I'll see you soon~ Heather

Nice place to have visited. Was there to attend a graduation for my son, who had finished up a course in Culinary.

A wonderful restaurant with a mission. Delightful, fresh, original food prepared by people experiencing barriers to employment to help them achieve self reliance in the food service industry. Stone Soup is organized as a 501c3 and is truly dedicated to their mission. I experienced the Auto-Bohu Mi Steamed Buns and the Gazpacho soup (melon today). I must say that I haven’t experienced better food anywhere. The presentation was beautiful and the freshness was off the chart. You can’t go wrong for lunch here. It’s an easy walk from on the fringe of the Pearl District.

Stone Soup is a beautiful hidden treasure. Their food is delicious and healthy. The staff are kind, patient, and bright. There is keto, vegan, and GF menu items. All staff are from corrections and are working to gain a great skill set in the kitchen and at the register. To top it off, all their chairs are donated and on the back of each is a plaque stating where it was donated from. How cherishing!!

The rating is moreso for the idea and intent behind this place than the food, which is okay. Learning a new trade can be very daunting for a lot of people, but Stone Soup works with a couple local organizations to make it a lot easier for those in need to pick up new skills in the food and restaurant industry. More power to them.
