Had reservations for 6:00pm. They were over booked and did not get seated till about 6:30pm. They were out of soup when I asked if more would be available I was told in about 10 minutes. I checked several times and they never replenished it. Food was great. Service was good. We waited over 20 minutes for dessert. We ordered a strawberry cheesecake. They brought out the raspberry, when we asked for the strawberry they said, oh, we ran out so we just brought you that one. We didn't really like the sauce so we did not eat it. So that was a waste. I would have loved if maybe they asked me if I wanted it still or maybe wanted a different desert. We then asked for our check, that took another 20 minutes and it was incorrect. So they had to make a correction and we waited once again.

What a wonderful experience! My family and I went to Fogo de Chao to celebrate Father's Day. We went the following Monday. It was our first time to visit the restaurant. We enjoyed the way the all you can eat grilled meats were delivered to our table. The meats were so juicy, perfectly spiced and grilled to perfection! The large buffet style salad bar is not your usual salad bar but it is an entirely a class of its own. They not only have fire grilled peppers, fancy salads and vegetables, they also have high quality cold cuts, cheeses and soups. The staff was very attentive and friendly. It's pretty pricey for each person so be prepared. Having said that, we love the place so much we'll be going back soon!

Such a fantastic experience. So many options, food was all hot and fresh, amazing service (other than being rushed at the end of our meal - as someone was specifically asking for our table). Our server was on top of things and attentive to our needs. Definitely worth the trip.

I know 3 stars are hash and I really try and understand from their point of view but one really deserved 3 anyways so let's start at reservations first make one don't go with out it won't work. I had a 630 pm reservation and didn't get seated 745 it was just ridicules I understand the idea of over booking but who ever was answering the phones that day didn't know what they are doing. I don't mind waiting a Xtra 15 mins I get it but when it got to a hour then hour and a half then finally in a hour and 45 mints later we got seated. I know why didn't we leave it got to a point of let's see if we ever get seated. Ok during this time did the manager or for that matter anyone come and talk to me say they are sorry or give me some reason the answer is no they just walk by and ignored us. Someone needs to really fix reservations in that place. Once seated it was very clean especially as busy as they were. Restrooms were clean and serviceable. Staff was friendly enough when they came to the table wasn't often enough to take care of our needs. But with that said they were very busy so u be the judge. Food was good infact very good. The atmosphere was fine a little noise but again very busy. In the end for 4 of us to eat and drink was over 200 which is fine but here is where I have another issue it's basically a steak buffet so $200 was in my mind a little steep who knows again I could be wrong maybe that's a Brazilian thing who know. All in all our visit was fine except for our initial wait. Will I go again not sure yet still frustrated about the reservations would I tell you to go? My answer is yes and hopefully u have better luck with reservations because if u are willing to pay the cost it's good food....good luck

We used the gift card from our son and went to dinner tonight for the first time at Fogo de Chão to celebrate both our anniversary and hubby's birthday. It was amazing! The food was awesome, fresh and flavorful. Wine was perfect and sweet. Meat was cooked to perfection and in abundance, hubby got his fill of Lamb tonight. Pineapple mint lemonade was amazing! And don't get us started on the desserts.

This place is excellent! Beautiful decor and really friendly staff! The mango ginger cocktail was just splendid! It went well with all the tasty meats served table side. The buffet was colorful and full of nice vegetables and the spiced bacon was such a nice touch! Thank you for the great evening!

This experience was amazing. The salad bar is unlimited and the meats keep coming. There is a choice between well done, medium rare, etc. We had the full experience today. Ate Parmesan cheese chicken, rib eye, top sirloin and bottom sirloin. So many more meats. The full experience comes with mash potatoes, plantains and polenta. We grabbed some drinks which were amazing! Thank you Robert for checking on us! Great management tonight :)

Amazing first experience at a Brazilian Steakhouse, the meats were all cooked to perfection and the salad bar/cheese station was tasty as well. The house sirloin was by far my favorite. David our server was brilliant and deserves a raise, he was very kind and even offered a free dessert when the credit card machine went down. Thanks and we look forward to coming back!

This place is amazing. It was so gorgeous and the little details like the bar being made of tree limbs, and the large wine barreles behind the bar are such a nice touch. The light fixtures are a masterpiece by themselves. The service was amazing. They have over 15 meats they serve table side and the meat was cooked right every time. Make sure you try the carmalized bananas. The desserts were just the right touch to end a perfect meal. Highly recommend to anyone and everyone, if you are visiting or if you have lived here your whole life. Great place for an anniversary!

Best Brazilian in town! Biggest salad bar in town! Great variety of fresh meat! The lamb is amazing here! I have majority of my companies party's here! Alex the manager always makes sure that the service is amazing! One of my top 5 favorite places in Portland!

This cozy restaurant has left the best impressions!, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, wide wine list and wonderful desserts. I recommend to everyone! We are definitely coming back here again and again.

Attended a wedding event there. ~100 people crammed in a room that has the max allowed ccupancy of 39. Service was very underwhelming. The staff wasn't prepared and a big portion of the guests waiting 1hr to get their server to reach them. Half a dozen wagyu steaks were special ordered for certain guest but the staff serverd them to the wrong people even after being instructed to. When complaining to the manager, he blamed one of the guests for authorizing it even though when I reviews the video they never spoke. The whole thing was one big clown festival with no drink services and lack or organization. By the time the kitchen caught up, half the guests had left so there was an excess amount of meat thrown out from the table. Being hopeful for dessert since that is very hard to mess up. The staff didn't plan ahead for so many guests so they didn't thaw out the cheese cakes ahead of time. They ended up serving the whole cakes instead of individual slices and then disappeared. The cake was frozen solid and more than half got thrown out

The food is delicious. The meats were seasoned well and very juicy. If you go for the "full experience" bring your appetite. The hostess and servers were friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend.

I tend to be skeptical of places like this, but Fogo was a really great experience. We went for my birthday dinner, and the whole evening was so much fun. Exceptional stuff, so nice and polite. Very responsive and helpful. The quality of the meats is actually great. Everything was fresh and tasty. Very positive experience for sure. The fillet and the ribeye were my favorite. We also got some nice celebratory dessert! (The pics aren’t great, but I was too focused on eating :p)

UPDATED: The manager reached out to us shortly after this review was posted and explained that the server was new and in training. He made it right and we will be back in. We were SO excited that the Portland Fogo De Chao was open (thanks to an outside tent). It had been too long since we've had a date night and we needed a good experience after a very stressful week. Our waitress Jenni was excited to tell us about GREAT special they were running - get their Tamahack Steak for $135 and the second dinner was FREE (valued $58). She even said "It's normally almost $120 for both of you, so it's just a little bit more!". It sounded a bit confusing...so I double checked. So we pay $135 for HIS and the second dinner is FREE? She confirmed. Well, the dinner was amazing (I do have to say that). They didn't disappoint with the food or service. However...the check came and it was $135 plus the second dinner of $58. I brought this up to our second waitress for the evening and asked to speak to the first one who had explained the special to us. She then tells us that the Tamahack steak is $135 and the "free" dinner was my husband's ability to still enjoy the Fogo de Chao "experience". It felt like a total bait and switch. We ended up paying over double for my husband's meal...plus mine...which ended up making our stressful week even more stressful. I'm disappointed in this experience at Fogo. While their food is amazing, this felt super scammy. We won't be going back anytime soon.

Diego was a such a good waiter the food was delicious and everyone on the staff was very friendly. The environment is very happy. Restaurant was clean. And the have warmers! Also definitely worth the price point!

Even though Covid has changed the landscape of dining, they have stepped up in every way to make sure you have a special evening. Well done, would give more if possible. Shout out to Lucas for being very attentive, fun, and professional.

This is my third time at Fogo and I absolutely love it here. I decided to celebrate mine and my partner's anniversary during the new year event. Additionally, she has never experienced a Brazilian steakhouse so I wanted to change that. The experience was amazing, we left very satisfied and full of food and joy. Careful not to eat a lot from the salad bar because the incoming meats will come at you and you don't want to be full for the best part. Also remember to leave room for desserts and drinks! The staff is amazing, my favorite is Robert. Robert was the one who gave me my first amazing Fogo experience and I was super stoked to see him again during the new year event. I am so happy that he is still around. Robert deserves more and would love to see him again during my next visit!

Wow! Great food, amazing atmosphere. Truly a different eating experience and the topper was Madison! She made the night special for us with personalized dessert for our anniversary. Which by the way was incredible and was her suggestion. Highly recommended you check it out for yourself

We used to go often and have been to the chain in 4 different States. After Covid hit everybody was closed so we were fortunate enough to be one of the 1st people to go back when it reopened again. The food is always amazing, the team is always really nice and attentive. They always bring what we want and ask for without having to even repeat it once-which is an added customer service level of excellence we love. We went for our anniversary last week and it was really nice actually. We did the outdoor tent seating. The only thing that was missing with the indoor experience. They had heaters so we were nice and warm. Hands down one of our favorite places in Portland.

The best place to experience mouth watering Brazilian food. I loved the Brazilian sodas!! I normally get all the desserts. I get 1 cheat day a month and it's always great when we come here for it. The service is even better then the food, David, Robert and Christina have always been a pleasure to talk with, such great customer service!!

As usual, Fogo de Chao seated our expectations. The food was even better than I remembered it being last time, if that's even possible. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a slow food dining experience at the highest quality service and amazing meets an additional dishes provided during your entire meal. The market table is not to be missed. It is a prelude of great things to come.

Its my birthday today! Having been to Fogo for my anniversary I was excited to come back for my birthday. I have to say that this experience was flawless…even better than the first time. There’s something for everyone here but the main experience is the best. They kept the lamb coming too which I love. A free dessert made it that much better. Food, drinks, service and good company awaits you here.

First time going and I will definitely come back!! The all you can eat, with salad bar, is definitely the best pricing for what you get. The meats were absolutely to die for; so juicy and tender to chew!! Loved all of the salad bar options as well, as there were several items I've never seen or tried before. The Yellowbird drink, was also amazing!

We came here for my birthday lunch. The service was fantastic. We had an Amazing waiter, I forgot his name but he had a cool spider tattoo. He was very helpful and attentive. Other staff stopped by too to check on use, but not in an annoying way. The food was top notch. We walked out in a food coma. I love that they give you a dessert if your choice for your birthday and not just random ice cream. The salad bar was great too. Lots of Optimus and mouth watering food. We'll definitely be back.

I love it here so much. Every time I come I feel like I am going to birth a child. The food is phenomenal, and their cheesy bread had my mouth watering. They told me they would have to kill me if they gave me the recipe. Robert is one of my favorite people at Fogo, he is awesome and made me feel so welcomed. I come here like 3-15 times a year and am very broke after. Love it here. 5/5 every time I come.

So yummy and the customer service is even better than the food. Surprisingly kid friendly as well. The constant meat delivery kept our toddler entertained which is with the price of the wagyu option!

Absolutely amazing service and food. Whatever meat you want they will bring it to you and however you want it. The drinks are amazing. The manager who is amazing will come around and ask how is everything going and if it's up to your standards. I have been here twice and can't wait to go again.

Diego, Robert, and Enrique gave us the experience of a lifetime. Came with a larger group for a going away party. They were extremely accommodating and assisted us in a manner of high professionalism. The food was excellent, meat extremely fresh and high quality. Our server Diego was at the table and constantly checking up to make sure everything was to perfection. Enrique our Gaucho brought meat extremely fast and consistently. Definitely recommend coming in and enjoying a wonderful dinner with family or friends.

A magnificent return to socially distanced dining, the staff, quality of entree, and appetizers were interwoven together to create a symphony of flavors and a very respectable and positive experience! This is what fine Brazilian dining is all about. I will be back for another worthwhile Brazilian culinary experience.

But pricey for the food. Drinks were ok. Meats came about to your table pretty frequently. Wasn't expecting some of the food at the "food bar" to be cold (asparagus, broccoli, etc). But overall everything tasted pretty well.

Went and picked up a dinner and it was less than its been in the past. Sorry Fogo. But they gave me a gift card so I will give them another chance to wow me again.

This was our first time dining at Fogo. It came highly recommended from a friend but I did notice a lot of bad reviews so was hesitant. We almost didn't come because of that but I'm so glad we did! Our waitress was Michelle and she was so lovely. She even spoke to us in Romanian after finding out where we were from. The salad bar was great and the meat service was spectacular. We felt like we were getting spoiled the entire time. We were comfortable outside as well since they accommodate the surrounding tables with heat lamps. We almost passed on dessert but im so glad we didn't. It was a great cap to date night with the husband. We will definitely be back!

My wife and I just celebrated an achievement with a date night out at a restaurant we've never been to. Great customer service! Their service during covid was great, as they accomodated our needs.
