The food was delicious here. During our 3 night stay in Istanbul we came here two times. Unfortunately we were let down on the second night when the waiter felt he could suddenly charge for Turkish tea something which was not done on the first night. (Tea is given complimentary in Turkey and was the case at all other restaurants we ate at). Obviously he was trying to score a quick buck from tourists.

Good place to dine in. Good environment for the family. Top dining hall is well lit and cozy. They have nice outdoor sitting as well.

Great food and service!

Bad experience. We went since it had so many reviews but I don’t understand why. Much better food and service a few doors down at NE KOKOREÇ & MİDYE It started off with an odd waiter who was being too much before we even ordered, repeatedly encouraging us to come in even though we were already in (no this wasn’t Turkish hospitality, it was just weird) - realized later the restaurant was split up into sections for the waiters. He was trying to be fancy with simply giving us the menu, handing us napkins and our drinks and then he stood to watch us eat... We ordered two dishes, the chicken wing dish- flavor was off and chicken was undercooked. Second dish was the tiny beef sandwiches covered in cheese and yogurt in the center, beef tasted horrible, I realized it was all fat and barely any meat. Finally, when I asked for the bill he kept pushing for dessert. After that back and forth he appeared to be writing out the check for a minute or so then he walks over and there’s just a number which I couldn’t even read. I don’t mind receiving just number as the total but I didn’t appreciate him pretending to write out a check - which also didn’t seem to make sense for what we ordered. Avoid this place.
