I
had
the
absolute
misfortune
of
staying
at
this
hotel,
as
it
was
the
chosen
hotel
of
a
clinic
that
I
was
visiting.
I
can’t
emphasise
enough
how
much
of
a
nightmare
it
was.
I
really
would
have
given
0
stars
if
Google
allowed
it.
During
the
daily
house
keeping,
they
decided
it
would
be
a
great
idea
to
remove
the
external
key
from
my
room
(without
my
permission
of
course),
which
effectively
turns
off
the
fridge
inside.
Sounds
like
a
minor
inconvenience,
right?
ABSOLUTELY
WRONG!
Inside
that
fridge
was
a
crucial
medication
that
I
needed
for
my
health.
It
was
clearly
labeled
as
‘keep
refrigerated’
and
‘do
not
touch’.
Upon
the
first
occurrence,
when
I
brought
this
issue
to
the
staff’s
attention,
they
were
not
just
unhelpful
but
downright
rude.
After
I
confronted
them
for
how
rude
and
inconsiderate
they
are,
one
of
the
front
desk
reception
staff
said
that
he
will
make
a
note
and
ensures
this
won’t
happen
again.
The
next
couple
of
days,
it
happened
again!
Once
confronted
again,
they
refused
to
accept
responsibility
for
their
mistake,
even
though
it
was
clearly
their
fault.
They
provide
no
reason
whatsoever
for
taking
my
key
away
every
time!
They
ignored
my
requests,
which
were
clearly
for
an
important
reason
-
my
health!
Apart
from
that
they
showed
zero
empathy
for
the
health
concerns
I
faced
because
I
had
to
throw
out
my
medication,
even
my
back
up
pack,
because
of
their
wrong
actions
which
they
had
absolutely
no
right
to
(aka
taking
away
the
key)!
On
the
day
of
my
flight
back
to
Australia,
I
asked
them
to
either
source
the
medication
for
me
or
reimburse
me,
as
I
need
to
take
it
prior
to
my
20+
hours
flight.
They
ignored
my
requests!
What’s
worse,
they
refuse
to
even
provide
a
simple
invoice
for
my
stay
(which
was
paid
in
full
and
up
front!).
Needless
to
say
that
this
should
be
a
basic
service
in
any
hotel.
Instead,
they
chose
to
lie
and
manipulate
the
situation,
stating
that
other
people,
including
the
clinic,
is
a
liar
or
at
fault.
This
review
is
not
just
a
complaint
but
a
plea
for
the
hotel
to
acknowledge
their
wrongdoing
and
take
responsibility.
I
have
made
many
attempts
to
resolve
this
matter
with
the
help
of
the
clinic,
or
contacting
the
hotel’s
incompetent
managers
directly.
They
need
to
understand
that
the
world
has
rules,
even
if
they
don’t
abide
by
them
in
Istanbul;
and
they
are
obligated
to
settle
this
situation
immediately
by
providing
the
invoice,
reimbursing
me
for
the
damages
caused,
and
the
health
concerns
I
had
to
endure.
It’s
time
for
them
to
step
up
and
show
some
accountability
for
their
actions.
Last
I
finish
by
this…If
you
are
getting
a
procedure
done,
make
sure
you
do
not
go
to
this
hotel,
as
you
may
endure
a
near
death
experience
and
no
one
would
really
care
or
take
accountability.
