Came for the Reuben and was not disappointed! Tasty food, great drinks, and a cozy neighborhood vibe. I’ll be back!

Overpriced, low quality food ($6 for a medium plate or average tortilla chips and half a cup of salsa??) and servers that repeatedly treated me like an inconvenience (rolling eyes and walking away while I was still asking for something to outright telling me "You're killing me" for needing a receipt) are my top reasons for not wanting to go back here. They get one star because they're very dog friendly out on the covered patio, but everything else about the visit and interacting with my waitress was pretty terrible.

Perfect Reuben sandwich - homemade sauerkraut, sauce, and delicious corned beef. The horseradish on the side is super hot! Service was great, Jeannie. Love this place!

First, the interaction with the staff was off. The employee didn't answer all of my questions and ended the phone call before I even finished talking. Next, they forgot to include the condiments that I asked for. I got a few sandwiches, two of them were okay, the roast beef sandwich was a complete disappointment, the meat was raw. I have had many roast beef sandwiches in the past and the flavor and texture of this meat was just wrong. My husband who is not picky eater and hates to throw food away attempted to eat it, but he gave up. To top off a bad experience, the food was way overpriced.

Wonderful ambiance. Dark and warm. Candles. Nice music. Very friendly neighborhood place IMO. Traditional menu circa 1970. Very tasty Ruben. A bit heavy. But that’s a Ruben.

They advertised best Reuben sandwich on the planet, and I have to agree with this statement. Y.U.M.

Best Reuben sandwich in town. Quaint dive-bar feel. Limited off-street parking. No oranges 🍊 for drinks so they won’t make you an old fashioned, even though the original old fashioned drink recipe didn’t call for an orange peel. Draft beer & low brow wine selection.

Our party of four stopped by this established neighborhood pub this past week. We enjoyed a bowl of very tasty beef barley soup and several classic Reuben sandwiches that had an emphasis on what seemed to be a homemade sauce, sauerkraut, and corned beef. The limited kitchen space and hardware minimized the available food options on the menu. In my humble opinion, the vaunted Goose Hollow Inn's classic Reuben is very far from the planet's best.

Yummy food you will need 25 napkins for. Reasonably priced and cozy atmosphere. Waitresses were sweet and did a good job! I got the veggie hot sandwich, friends got reubens and loved them. A large group of us went on a friday evening around 8:00 and we got in right away.

Good food. The Ruben was great!! The pizza seemed more like frozen. Service was good.

Awesome place. Great Rubens and Pizza. Though I don't have a dog myself I got to spend an hour or so with several nearby. Also has a nice rotating selection of drinks and shareable pitchers.

Haven’t been here in years, and you know what? It hasn’t changed a bit! Ordered the usual food (not pictured) a Rubin and a veggie one and a couple of beers. While sitting there reminiscing we realized that it had been a year to the day Bud had passed… so it was meant to be us beings there.

Popped in for a drink, ended up trying the clam chowder and also carrot sticks. The chowder was on the thinner side but tasty and fresh. Best carrots I'd ever had in my life. Highly recommend. Next time can't wait to try the reuben.

They claim to be the best Reuben and they do a pretty good job delivering. I'm not a huge fan of Reubens but I figured I better try it and it was pretty good. Potato salad that came with it was decent. Decent selection of drinks. Made for a really good lunch visit with friends out on the patio. I could tell there were a lot of regulars.

I enjoyed the classic American dive bar atmosphere and friendly staff. The roast beef sandwich with au jous served on a toasted bun was simple and well executed, as was the slightly spicy potato salad.

Stopped in for a late lunch. Had the cold veggie sandwich with potato salad and half veggie pizza, all were delicious. Also met world famous Penelope the 🐖. They have a very small parking area. One hour street parking was easy to find close by the restaurant.

Divey in a homey way, and the Reuben was fantastic. Just a little crispy cheese on the edges of the bread made it sooo flavorful. I’ll be back, with friends!

Busy as busy can be, especially on match day, so it took some time. Nothing a couple of beers and an extensive look around at all the cool stuff everywhere can't remedy. Rubin is 🤯🤤

Been here to Goose Hollow Inn twice now, and both times were excellent everything! Their Reubens are the best I've ever had in my life!
