A very unique experience in Romania! Mud volcanoes are reachable by car in couple of hours from Bucharest. Once you get there, there are many plaques with information about how these volcanoes formed. One tip: once you finish your visit here at 'small' volcanoes, go visit another site of volcanoes which is very near (2km max). I found other site even more interesting.

You aren't supposed to walk in the gray wet areas, nor to leave shoe marks in the mud! If it's not possible to go near a volcano without getting your shoes dirty with mud, then you should admire them from a distance. If you want to learn more about the muddy volcanoes and to see some incredible drone footage, go to my website afkology.com. We liked the landscape here more than the one at Pâclele Mari.

Wowww, not sure why this called the small one?! Definitely much better than the so called big one. Truly amazing Mud Volcano. Ok the view is spectacular. You can park your car at the park trailer or go up the dirt road all the way to the parking area. 4 lei an adult and no charge for kids.

Nice place, not to be missed if you are in the area. The entrance is not so well flagged. There is a small hill to climb in ordet to get there from the parking. The entrance ticket is 4 ron. It is not allowed to smoke or to touch the muddy water in the volcanos.

Spectacular active mud volcanoes, the last few kilometers by car are a bit bumpy, drive safe! Also don't play with fire in there the gas from the volcanoes might light up!

Very interesting place. Pity that it's not well promoted and the access road is very bad.

A hidden gem. Legend has it that there’s a sleeping dragon under the earth, breathing through the holes of this place. Be careful not to wake him up.

Really worth it. Spectacular. A great place for kids especially if you have the time and energy to explain the phenomenon. Great place for photographers and videographers too.

Again, amazing place, just like the other 3 similar ones - Beciu, Berca, Paclele Mari. Worth seeing and if you have kids, they will enjoy it a lot. Keep in mind, all of them must be seen, each one has their own signature.

Lovely place full of mud volcanoes. The landscape is preety much moonlike. The price of admission is very low. 4 lei for an adult. You can reach the site by car (the road is not the greatest but it's doable). You can leave the car (there is some parking space quite close) and you just need to walk an additional 500 m uphill. There are signs that will guide you. If you are in the area it's a sight you should not miss

A place worth to see, unique in our country, even though it is not very easy to get there.... unfortunately the road conditions are not as good as should be.

The place is.wonderfull. Not every day you get to see a Mud Volcano. The price for entering is very cheap, something under a euro, and you get some wonderfull views and can enjoy climbing some little active and inactive volcanos. The place is near Bucharest, 2-3 hours, anybody visiting Romania should take time and visit this place.
