I absolutely love my beautifully crafted bracelet my boyfriend gave me for Christmas! Goldsmith is a small boutique jewelry store in the quaint Old Market in Omaha and has been around for many years. They offer really traditional pieces and custom unique pieces. They had the designer craft a bracelet to fit my wrist, sent it to an engraver for a beautiful message inside, and shipped to me. A fantastic experience all the way around. This is a bracelet I will wear daily with two others in my collection. Thank you Goldsmith!

(excuse the wear and tear in the photo, i actually bought the ring several months ago and wear it daily) I traveled to Omaha from Chicago for a work trip, and as a jewelry lover I was so excited when I found this shop. The selection is absolutely gorgeous and there’s a variety of styles, so there’s something for everyone. I wasn’t planning on buying anything, but once I saw this ring I returned to the store every day just to try it on and look at everything. The staff was incredibly helpful and super kind. Even though I walked out several times without buying anything, they answered all my questions and allowed me to look as much as I wanted. I eventually realized I just had to have this ring, and they helped me get set up with the layaway program, which I very much appreciated! Shipping was fast and easy, and if Im ever in the area again I will absolutely return! I had a bag of jewelry that I collected over 30 years. Took the items to Goldsmith Silversmith in Omaha. The ladies where helpful told me I need to have the owner look at it. Came back and had a very interesting conversation with Dwayne. Told him I wanted a custom ring made. Had certain stone, and pieces from my jewelry I wanted incorporated in my new ring. Dwaine did a great job resizing my Sterling Silver, Scottish made, Celtic design ring that was in a sorry state after some 20 years of wearing it daily. It was stronger than ever, with a brilliant shine.

I went in yesterday hoping to get my wedding set cleaned. Not only was Elizabeth super helpful, but she explained the type of care my particular ring needs. And then, she refused to charge me for the cleaning! Just amazing customer service. Also, my ring looks brand new. I don’t know how they did it. I can’t wait to go back and purchase something. All of their jewelry on display was gorgeous and incredibly unique.

Amazing customer service! Every time I need a jewelry repair or any jewelry needs, the owner and staff are super supportive and knowledgable. And, they have a gorgeous cat named Fin who adds even more friendliness to the atmosphere. 5 stars for sure!

Dwayne worked closely with my fiancé and I to get his ring to fit perfectly. This jewelry shop is one of the only places I would trust with my jewelry. Right when you walk into the shop, you can tell you are going to be treated well. The jewelers really listened to us and gave us their undivided attention. We got a great deal for our jewelry; even though the price of gold had gone up considerably from when the item had been marked, they sold us the piece for the price listed. If you want someone who you can trust with your valuables, the Goldsmith is the place I’d recommend! Also, if you’re lucky, you’ll be greeted by Finn, the friendly cat, when you walk in.

This business is amazing. I worked with Elizabeth and Jim, and while Elizabeth is the one I actually spoke to, Jim is the one who worked on my 1950's era locket. Elizabeth is amazingly kind and gives tons of great information in store. She also readily and enthusiastically engaged my children. I went in to fix the inner lip of my locket and expected to pay $50-60, and it not only took Jim mere moments to fix, but was a fraction of that(quoted $30). He said no cost, but you don't just leave a place like that with nothing. We are definitely going there again and find their work to be top notch! Also noteworthy, they carry local artist's work! Amazing space and definitely worth a visit or 10.

My mom had a necklace with a twisted chain that she took to them. They fixed the chain in less than a minute and also cleaned both the necklace and ring! She said the necklace looked as new as the day she purchased it! They were so nice and it was a great experience. Definitely recommend!

Wonderful!! 35 years ago I asked Dwaine to design a pin for a friend who was retiring. It was beautiful and unique and I was proud to present it. Yesterday I visited again with an engraving request that no one else in the city was willing to try. He performed the task effortlessly and then charged me $0. Highly recommend this talented artist!

I stopped into this jeweler's store in search of some cleaning services for some old jewelry that I had. Not only did they clean my pieces immediately without requiring me to drop off and pick up, but they did not even charge me for it. This was one of the few businesses I have been to recently who felt like they were in it for the trade and helping their fellow man above the greed of so many businesses these days. I didn't feel like just another way to make money, I felt like a new friend. I would highly recommend this shop from everything to cleaning and repairs to buying new pieces. It was a wonderful experience!

Customer service oriented business. When I needed some jewelry work done and nobody else would take on the job, Goldsmith Silversmith was willing to do what needed to be done. Very friendly and fast.

Had the best ring resizing experience. Called ahead and was made aware of all the options I could choose from. Walked in with the ring in a box due to it being too big. He took the ring in the back, less that 5 minutes later I was walking out with the ring on my finger. Excellent work, and very timely.

This Old Market “gem” with its vibe, customer service, and the genuine quality and care Dewayne and team provide is honestly top notch. I wanted a custom family ring and when I was describing what I envisioned, Dewayne just started doodling it in front of me like he could envision it with me. I was gifted a gold bracelet for Christmas but it came with a magnetic clasp and kept falling off. I took my bracelet to Goldsmith Silversmith and they gave me options of clasps to use as well as expedited my order so I could wear it for an upcoming trip. “The Ring” we have been using Goldsmith Silversmith for 13 years when we found “the ring”. I’m attracted to traditional/ antique beauty and didn’t want to same style of ring everyone had in 2010. So when we found this Edwardian style rind at Goldsmith I knew it was my perfect engagement ring. At the wedding we discovered my husband’s late grandmother had a similar wedding ring from the 20’s (her’s on the left). For our 5 year anniversary Goldsmith made us a matching wedding band with our children’s birthstone colored diamonds in it. As a symbol of our growing love. He cleans, sizes, and cares for our jewelry as we do. We won’t go anywhere else!

I went to Goldsmith Silversmith to have a vintage sandcast silver cuff adjusted to fit my wrist, a vintage sterling ring re-oxidized, and to have a pair of vintage sterling earrings adjusted to be more symmetrical. Dwaine and his staff are super friendly and knowledgeable - they totally understood what I was looking for with these fixes for my jewelry, and they were able to take care of 2 of the fixes while I waited! I spoke to Dwaine and another silversmith that was there (sorry, I forgot her name!), and it was like talking to old friends (and this was my first time there!); they really make you feel welcome in the shop. Overall, I'm super pleased with Goldsmith Silversmith, and I'll definitely be back again! Highly recommend!

Stopped in on Sunday to get three watches adjusted to fit. I had waited until we were downtown to have this done because of the excellent service experienced during my last visit. This was no different. They greeted us and took the time to make sure of the way I wanted them to fit. All three were worked on right away. I can now wear them without the worry of them being too tight or too loose. I would recommend them highly for any repairs or if in the market for new jewelry!

We visited the shop because of its great reviews and were convinced of every single word. The complimentary cleaning of the jewelry was excellent as well as the service. Grace was so charming and graceful throughout our experience. To give you an idea my wife left a pair of earrings for repair which was well done and we bought a couple of additional earrings sets. Each visit was a very nice experience. We highly recommend shop the excellent jewelry and specifically the great staff (all are excellent). We will be back when we return to Omaha from Puerto Rico.

Highly recommend!!! So thankful! Dwaine single handedly saved our engagement! The ring my partner ordered from Etsy was "lost in transit" only days to before our international vacation where he planned to propose. Fortunately, his parents kind enough to gift us a gorgeous, art nouveau, heirloom ring from his great-great-grandmother. We took it down to Goldsmith Silversmith and Dwaine stretched the ring for free and appraised it for a very reasonable rate. He even recommended an insurance company (with great rates and coverage) which checked off one more thing on the "to do" list ! All was accomplished in time for us to head off on vacation!

My all time favorite jewelry store!! The staff is so friendly and helpful I took a ring to be fixed to a jeweler closer to where I live and he couldn’t fix it so I brought it to Goldsmith silversmith where I should have just gone first because they not only fixed it in a timely manner they also did a wonderful job and made it look better then when I bought it!!! I love all there jewelry in store also they always have beautiful pieces!!

The front counter staff were busy with other customers when I first arrived but Dwaine noticed me right away from the back and took it upon himself to see how he could assist me. He was both cordial and up front about the anticipated timeline for getting the work that I had requested. Upon discovering I had the pieces in question with me, he asked to take a look at them on the spot, and ended up being able to accommodate my needs right then and there. After my experience, I'll be bringing some additional items by in the near future to have them adjusted in a similar way. The items available in store are beautiful and unique as well, and I must admit to noting a few gift ideas while I was there. Excellent work by an excellent craftsman!

I wanted a necklace to commemorate two rafting trips down the Grand Canyon, but couldn’t find anything I liked anywhere on the web (I looked). Based on a photo I’d taken, Dwaine and Jim, the talented, experienced jewelers at Goldsmith Silversmith created a beautiful, custom silver pendant for me. The work is exquisite, multilayered and textured, with an open section for the river. Elizabeth followed up with me during every stage of the process, and the final price was WELL below her initial estimate. I’ll wear this piece every day with pleasure!
