It was my first time at Mario’s. It was a nice family restaurant to enjoy Italian cuisine. The ambiance was nice. The food quality was ok & not too fancy. The portion was reasonable. They offered free refill of fresh bread, soup & salad if you ordered their main course. It was a bit pricey but the service was good so it was worth it.

Update: What a great lunch!! Our server Bobbi was soooo fantastic!! Thanks for s lovely afternoon!!! Previous: Hadn't been in the last cpl years...but heard they brought back "All you can eat soup salad and homeloaf" ... headed in today and food was wonderful. Cheap lunch...fantastic food.

Decide after many years to give Eastside Mario another try, to my disappointment I have to say, was no where near worth the price. The food is over price, small portions and my salad was swimming in dressing. I ordered the veal lemons, the fries and veal was so greasy had no taste to the food, very bland. It did not change my mind about this place it actual confirmed that it is still not up to standard. Complaints taken to management and they did not even come to see if they could help. As for my server she did do all she could to help to her capabilities and she was very pleasant.

The East Side Mario's franchise is a Canadian chain that offers casual Italian/ North American style dining mixing experiences from Old World Italy and Contemporary North America Italy. The Belleville franchise restaurant did a good job to screen me for covid protocols and directed me to my table that was sandwiched beside the bathroom and kitchen. This area is terrible, not only is it blocked off from viewing the rest of the ambience of the restaurant, it was also cold when people walked in and out of the restaurant and noisy from bathroom and kitchen sounds. I asked to get relocated to an acceptable area and they placed me in a booth close to the bar and big screen TVs. The tomato soup tasted good and was well complimented by the freshly baked roll of bread. I also enjoyed the chilli pepper that was mixed within the sausage penne pasta. The service and prices were ok. If you like my reviews, videos or photos don't throw tomatoes. Just give a buddy boom, buddy bing and a thumbs up.

Unfortunately have not had great service at this location on multiple occasions but the last time was the worst. Got seated immediately but then waited at least 15 minutes and our drink order had not even been taken. It was not a busy evening, there was not a ton of customers. I guess we should have tried the bar side instead.. maybe we would have had faster service? We decided to get up and leave because we knew it would have been near to impossible to get more bread, salad and soup so we decided to go to Montana's instead. Where within 5 minutes had our drink order taken, our drinks delivered and then our food order taken. Sorry East Side you are one of my favourite restaurants but the service is beyond poor at this location. Not to mention last time they had the server bribe us to get money off if we left a 5 star review and showed it to her. Is that ethical? Get people to leave you a 5 star review to get something next time to go? I didn’t feel right to leave a 5 star review because I didn’t feel I received 5 star service so i didn’t do the incentive.

Great food, atmosphere, experience! Actually has to be the best location I've been to in Ontario for both food quality and service. During "pandemic" they did a very good job spacing out and keeping everyone safe, and respectful, appreciate that. Can't wait to visit again in future.

Came in with mom for a bite before we explore the mall. The beer was great, atmosphere was decent, food was pretty good but the service was super awesome. We had Rolene and she was very hospitable, polite and personable. Will be back!

My family dined here during the busy Christmas holiday. We were told the wait would be 30 minutes however it took 50 minutes to seat us - that's how busy the restaurant was a dinner time. Once seated the service was very good. The food acceptable and pricing competitive.

The service was amazing, our waiter Sierra was fabulous. Very polite and friendly and was quicker than usual! The food was delicious and the atmosphere of the establishment was wonderful, overall it was a 10/10 experience and I will definitely be dining again soon!

Absolutely amazing food and service by Lindsay and the girl running her food who was absolutely adorable. Lindsay was able to predict what I was going to order next and had drink order punched in before I even made my order! I love it!

Communication with all staff and managers would be beneficial when running a business. I called one week to make a reservation for 20 people. Jen, who was fantastic, said that they take reservations, but not on Friday or Saturdays. This is completely understandable as those tend to be the busy nights. I was able to book a reservation for 20 people for Sunday. I was told by Jen, as we weren't 100% firm on the exact # of people coming with us (it was for our ball team between games). The server was great with a few minor hiccups, he was young & we were a group of 13. Fast forward to the next week, I called again to make a reservation for the same group for the same amount for the next Sunday. I was told by whoever picked up the phone, "we don't take reservations". After explaining myself to the female on the phone, she placed me on hold and came back to me with "my manager has said because you had a reservation last week I can do it, but we don't take reservations". We love East Side Marios, but for our large group from here on out we will be going elsewhere until communication between the whole team seems to be on the same page. We did not attend our reservation for the second dinner, after much contemplation we opted for somewhere who would take our big group without the hassle or the attitude I received.

Honestly, this is the 2nd time in a row I was there and got food that wasn't great and received poor service. The first time was ok service, but the food was brought out cold twice, so I didn't eat. The second time, there was barely any sauce on 2 of the pastas. We asked for extra sauce, and it came out ice cold. Our original server had quite the attitude and walked away with an eye roll, and then all of a sudden, someone else was serving our table. The 2nd server was great. I'm not sure if I'll be returning anytime soon. Thinking a little retrianing on customer service standards is needed for the servers.

Wife had a pretty rough day today so we decided to goto our local east side Mario's. Lindsay was awesome and treated us really well. Your rock Lindsay! Thank you 🤜🤛

I had an incredible dining experience at East Side Mario's thanks to Lindsay, our exceptional waitress. She went above and beyond, promptly addressing all our requests with a smile. The food was delectable, and Lindsay made sure not to skimp on the Parmesan or my favorite chili pepper flakes. Her attentive service and friendly demeanor truly enhanced our meal. Without a doubt, Lindsay deserves a glowing 5-star rating for making our visit memorable and enjoyable.

update last visit: june 27, tuesday 5 stars, as always.. food, ambience, service and efficiency, everything is as it should be. we had the tilapia and my usual tetrazzini.. my wedding soup was great, as always.. my client's salad looked decent. adding a few more photos for reference. enjoyable experience, every time! photos aren't as good, but food was very good.. service as well. reasonably priced.. unlimited soup (garlic tomato or wedding soup for options), salad and bread (really yood bread!) -so you're guaranteed to fill whatever appetite. ate with a senior, cost 50 or 60.

We decided to go to have dinner here last night because we had gift cards. We had to wait 10-15 minutes because they were packed 👍. They took our phone number and we took a walk around the mall. The service was amazing 👏 as we almost forgot to use our gift cards, but our server Lindsey reminded us and even told us to use our CAA card, which saved us $6. The food was what I expected and we had a great time. Thanks again, Lindsey you 🪨 🎸 🤘 🥌 👩‍🎤 🗿!

Food was good. Our waiter Matt should get a raise. This guy is working as if he owns the place. Running all over trying to make sure all his customers are served perfectly. East side management. Make sure you keep this guy happy. He is a keeper. I would hire him in an heart beat.

Took our toddler and our 1 year old for dinner here. It was their first time and the staffs are super friendly and very accommodating. The food were great, services were fast! We are so used to regular customers services, so this restaurant location definitely went above and beyond. Great family restaurant to go to when we are in the area.

I ordered lunch on my work break and although it was just soup it was amazingly presented and package. They went above and added lots of shredded cheese to top it off. I was pleasantly surprised and very much enjoyed my crisp lunch break enjoying this meal. Also they had it prepared well before the designated pickup time. The hostess saw me waiting and came to me promptly. Very impressed with service as well. THANK YOU !!

Third time here and love the food! Always fresh. No complaints. Budda Boomers and the brushcetta flatbread is a must!
