Just love this place. If Greeks eat there then you know it's good. It's not generic like Plaka or over priced but proper, authentic Greek food at a reasonable price. Great atmosphere, mist fans and very nice gin on tap. The meze is fantastic and I highly recommend you try the sardines. An update. Went back again (23 April) and tried the skinny lamb chops 125g and wedges. I don't know how I've lived so long not eating those wedges! Devine. Chops were also very nice and enough for 2 of us. But those wedges...

Amazing yiros lamb wrap..and then the wedges.. I would never have thought that cheese sprinkled on the top would have gone down well but.. it was excellent. Highly recommend.

Casual Greek restaurant which is located in outside if the city. We enjoyed greek wine, traditional food and greek coffee. These were so nice. And there is fire place,it was good for me to be warm.

Constantly driving past this place and wanting to stop for lunch. Finally today was the day. Place was neat and clean with friendly staff. Relaxing atmosphere with authentic decorations. The food was flavorful and delicious, steak was cooked to perfection. Will definitely recommend this place and excited to try some of their other dishes.

What an experience!! I would recommend Orexi to everyone. New experiences, delicious food and beverages. Service is right on-top, together with amazing staff that explains the menu/food precisely, well versed in their position and putting the customer at ease trying a new experience. And a vibe to be noted!! Make a turn and have a cullenery experience that you will remember and talk about for weeks!! Take your friends and have a blast.

Great food and great lunch experience. New waiters are trying their best, but they need a bit more supervision and assistance to be the best they can be. A drinks menu would be really handy

Orexi is a wonderful place to eat seafood, Pizza or a plethora of meat and other dishes, servings were VERY Generous, the prices were excellent and the Cappuccinos were not only great tasting & hot, but very very responsibly priced, just over 1/2 of what we pay in Gauteng. Orexi beats any seafood at Ocean Basket, portions given and much better prices. Thank you for an authentic Greek Restaurant experience! Our first visit .... what an experience! Super vibe, friendly and efficient staff, and an exceptional meal accompanied by their Orexi Lager beer. I highly recommend Orexi for your next meal out.

We were really impressed with this restaurant. They will definitely see us again. The only reason I didn't score them 100% is that we're visiting Greece in May, and I will then be able to assess better after experiencing their culture first hand.

Excellent food. The waiters need more training to anticipate what service is all about. While they are friendly their lack of initiative to ensure that the table is always fully stocked. We don't want to train staff at our lunch or supper. Just way too noisy on the street, there could have been outdoor sprays to keep the heat at bay. I will order the food as a takeaway going forward but won't be back as a dine in patron...

Driven past many times and wanted to stop. Finally went there for supper lastnight. It surpassed all expectations, such an incredible atmosphere and the food was so so so good. I haven't had an experience or great food like this at a restaurant in a long time. Will definitely go again and again.

I have never been to Greece, but if this is a hint of what the country is like, I need to go. The lamb pork sausages are a taste that one has to experience. The menu allows you to experiment with such a variety, from just one line. You even get a plate to smash!

In the first few months of opening the food was good. I'd say 7/8 out of 10. Now, after some time, the food is below average. It's the worst Greek restaurant as far as food goes in Johannesburg. As far as service it's very clear that they need more waiters because the wait for food is always over an hour. Tonight we had to take our dirty plates to the kitchen after our meal. You can't help but feel sorry for the waiters that are working because they are clearing trying to cover for the owners incompetence of staff management. My suggestion to the owner is this: instead of opening more locations, rather spend more time at this restaurant, hire more staff and get back to how you started.

Amazing food. The Yiro looks small but it's so filling. Parking is a bit difficult and the food takes a pinch longer than usual to prepare but everything is worth it. Either for a quick bite or a full meal, this is such a great place to have it.

went here for the first time, looking for somewhere new to try out. All i can say is that i wasnt dissappointed at all the food was good , fresh and tasty. Although it did take quite a while to get to the table but as the old saying goes good food takes time. As for the pricing i found it to be very well priced and affordable. The menu is small which i prefer but some people might find it lacking options unfortunately. The restuarant has a awesome atmosphere and street food style, im sure on a hot summers day with the canvas doors up , cocktails and greek food could be awesome. Look forward to trying take away

Booked a table for three last Saturday, got excellent service and food. One of the best places in Benoni. Our waitress was even dressed in traditional beading to celebrate Heritage Day.
