Sumo is a nice restaurant you can go if you are looking for fusion Asian food. The taste, the price and the whole environment are above expectation. I took a star off from rating due to authentication of Sushi. As an Asian who travelled to Japan very regularly and have Japanese sushi on regular basis, the sushi that Sumo has offered is a bit "too creative". You will feel strange if you are looking for standard sushi. I changed my expectations after having 1 sushi then I hadou a lot of fun by taking them as "fusion sushi" which i will probably not get any in Asia

Very nice Asian fusion kitchen. The dishes might be a little bit Instagram style but especially in the naming and decoration- but the taste is fantastic. Very friendly and fast service. Nice atmosphere and an open kitchen. I recommend to test this restaurant once you are in Bergen if you are looking for Asian food.

Great sushi, very fresh fish and has a cool young vibe. We tried the salmon lovers and sushi moriwasse and both were great! The deserts are great as well, I recommend the deserts mix which was awesome.

This was where we chose to have our last lunch the day before leaving Bergen. The menu had a great sushi selection from traditional to wacky. I particularly loved the roll topped with sweet potato fries. The lotus buns weren’t my favorite as they were a little too large and fell apart but that may have been because of how they were plated (taco stand). The service was great and it was a really lovely atmosphere. They also have some plaques at the front door that show all the celebrities who visited which was pretty cool.

A most admirable Asian fusion concept. We ordered Poke bowl , wild and dirty Maki, a very umami red curry and an interesting beef thai tenderloin. Tuna Poke bowl is well balanced on the rice, fish and garnish. The red curry has just the right texture with very light spice n coco so one was not overwhelmed . The maki has the right crunch . But curiously they serve it with a lump of wasabi. The Thai beef had everthing needed except basil . Which make it Chinese. The desert samplers are a good finish to a hearty meal. Service is excellent . Food is hot and prompt. Locals are lucky to have this high quality resto.

Looks like a simple bar, you go in, get a menu, order at the bar. But it's when you get the food you realise it's something more. The food is really really good, presentation is nice, portions are generous and prices are really affordable. I would very much recommend this place.

We attempted to go here twice while visiting Bergen, so if you are looking for dinner…make a reservation. We went for a late lunch and ordered three rolls and one poke bowl. We ordered the Dirty Tempura Maki (the OG fusion roll) topped with sweet potato fries. What is not to love?! I also ordered the Morudoba Sake roll that has a deep fried peanut crust served with chili mayo. Finally, my favorite was the Golden Gate, a deep fried salmon roll with cream cheese, sriracha and paprika. It had the most beautiful golden coloring on top. We also ordered the Spicy Korean poke bowl, which was delicious but just a typical poke bowl. If you are eating here, order the unique rolls you won’t find anywhere else.

Mainly Italian food. They have burgers, salads, meat dishes as well. Amazing draft beers. We opted for the vegetarian lasagna, a caprese salad and hummus appetizer. Everything was delicious, though I would have preferred the lasagna be more saucy, but that's just me. My friend enjoyed his. The establishment is located in an alley-type area, kind of secluded, but it's quite cozy. We sat by a window with a view of the wall across the street, so basically no lovely views. This place is for tourists and the vibe is good. Wine was good too. But for food? Absolutely not.
