I was at the restaurant just 2 hours ago, food is awesome, taste, quantity and freshness is authentic however service was poorest that I have ever experienced anywhere in the world. It felt like the server preferred to serve Western clients more than others who did not look western, I thought may be I was being sensitive, she confirmed my feel as soon as a Asian family walked in. They wanted to keep thier cases, were almost chastised for that, she sounded like a school teacher, thier son may be 8-9 yr old sat on the seating next to the door it was perfect for 4, she asked them to get up and noisely put two tables at back. Best part was the son walked to the counter to ask for WiFi password, she asked him to go back to his chair and not move, further walked up to the parents and said when she served water they should have asked for WiFi. Also to not allow the children to walk. As a hotelier, Associate GM of world class cruiseship company I was aghast at the treatment to a customer, I and my fellow colleague finished our main course and walked out. We did not want dessert or coffee for her behaviour. We wanted to pay and leave right away. I do not think I have ever written a review like this before.

Very authentic thai food in central location. We had Tom Yum seafood soup, pad thai and stir-fried duck and pineapple in red curry sauce. The sticky rice and mango dessert served with warm coconut cream was also super yummy. Made an excellent appetising meal after hiking on Mt Floyen. It is just diagonally opposite to the Floyen funicular station. Managed to get only dessert pic cos ate the others too fast!

Had the pad see ew and a tom yum soup. I order tom yum soup every chance I get and the soup here was pretty good, could use bit more of a kick and a bit more flavor. Great little Thai restaurant in Bergen sentrum, well priced and with a reasonable vegetarian lunchtime menu

I highly recommend reserving a table before hand, make sure to know how many people is in your party because every chair counts here. Everyone understood English and the menu was also in English. Place is most definitely a food first service second. Which honestly I understand completely. Except it to be loud, busy, and the rare checkup from the waiter. All that being said the foods worth it, everyone in my party was happy with the food, even some who’ve been to Thailand.

After recommendations I went to get lunch at Siam Ratree Thai Restaurant. I called and ordered pad Thai with chicken. Mentioned it was my first time ordering lunch. When came to pick it up I saw 180 nok instead or 129 nok on card terminal. I asked it should be lower price and was told I ordered regular and not lunch portion. I said sorry and since I think we had misunderstanding I was told to remember that for next time. There will be no next time. Portion was small and I think it was made that. I think the person there wasn’t happy with me. I don’t recommend. Small and dry food that’s all it is. Second pict is take away from Asian Street Food Bergen that I recommend. Have a good day.

I am traveling in Norway from Canada and was looking for a nice spot to eat for one. I walked past this place and I’m so glad I popped in because it has delicious food and great quick service. I will admit that I am a little bit picky when it comes to Thai restaurants because I love Thai cuisine but find that many restaurants don’t use fresh ingredients and you can really taste it but not at Siam Ratree … my dish was colourful, loaded with fresh veggies and big scampi. Everything tasted wonderful and was reasonable priced. I highly recommend you check it out!
