We are so happy we found this place. The food was absolutely delicious and we would be back for more if we weren’t leaving tomorrow! It was really easy to reserve a table on Messenger and they remembered we were vegetarian as soon as we walked in. First class service and friendliness. The chef even came and asked us if we were happy with the food. Highly recommended.

Resturant with a descent selection of East African food, with 5/5 tasting food. Very good and polite service Prices are relatively very cheap compared to other resturants and norwegian prices with alot of food for the money. The resturant size is rather small and limited space. At peak hours it can be quite full, make sure to reserve tables if you plan to eat around peak hours. But the best experience is early in the day when there are few to no customers. Very good and relaxing atmosphere.

But no worries the friendly and smiling host, are there to help u all the way, both on what way to eat it and the technics.. and u felt almost as if at home.. I was very happy with my visit there, and will just say this.. go and try it, especially if your tired of all the boring same same Norwegian food or pizzas they normally serve u here, I'm pretty sure u will not regret it..

Lovely little Ethiopian café and restaurant. We had coffee served in a traditional coffee pot - strong black coffee sweetened by the optional white sugar on the side. A small bowl of snacks came with on the side. The food here is amazing as well, particularly the Ethiopian savoury pancake with meat and/or vegetables that you eat with your hands. The staff were really warm and welcoming as well. The funniest thing was when we went to pay, we could guess the date and location of a picture on the wall to get a discount. I failed miserably and had to pay the full price, but had a good laugh with the waiter. Would warmly recommend this place (:

Big portions, ordered a mixed plate for 1 person and one extra meat dish for 2 ppl and it was more than enough! Better order less and finish all - a great sign of respect to the cook and culture. A bit spicy but not over the top. Also try Ethiopian tea spiced with cardamon.

We (my Wife and myself) took the plate for two, the mixture of most of the dishes from the menu. Relatively hot and spicy dishes (which I love) served with abundance of injera pancake, you eat with your hands. Pricewise, excellent value for the money. Coffee was out of this world. Overall, brilliant, would definetly come again and again.

The people working here are great fun, the food was good but I'd go back just to see them. The chef was not impressed by us eating with a knife and fork (!) and the waiter took time to chat with us about a photo by the till. If you're vegan I'd just recommend being really clear when you order. There was some confusion and we were at first given a mixed platter with some vegan food, but also containing meat, eggs and cheese. However, they replaced it without any problem. I'd also say the food is good value.

Unfortunately here the sauces and as well the injera lacks the usual blissful taste that Ethiopian food can give you. It's OK food, but the spices of the vegan dish do not really surface. Maybe I'm spoiled, but usually Ethiopian food makes me super happy. That wasn't the case here. Hope they do better soon, because as I said: the staff was great and I loved as well the original music and the atmosphere of that place.
