CHIPPS
wants
to
be
a
fancy
restaurant
in
Mitte
to
please
mostly
wealthy
international
customers.
On
a
quiet
Friday
morning,
my
girlfriend
and
I
had
breakfast
there
and
the
experience
was
exceptionally
underwhelming.
First
we
waited
10
minutes
for
them
to
take
our
order.
After
the
food
we
ordered
didn´t
come,
the
waitress
told
us
that
they
made
some
sort
of
mistake
and
offered
us
a
drink
each
for
free
as
compensation
for
the
wait.
The
admittedley
nice
gesture
turned
a
bit
sour
as
both
of
us
weren´t
particulary
thirsty
anymore,
but
the
waitress
would
not
leave
until
we´d
order
the
freebie.
We
had
ordered
one
of
our
dishes
with
a
side
of
bacon.
Weirdly,
we
got
served
the
extra
bacon
on
a
seperate
plate
before
the
actual
main
dish.
We
were
literally
sitting
in
front
of
a
plate
with
nothing
but
bacon
strips
for
10
minutes
before
they
served
us
the
actually
meals.
I
ordered
the
Lumberjack
which
according
to
their
menu
consists
of
scrambled
eggs
with
french
toast,
maple
syrup
and
bacon.
I
got
served
exactly
that
but
for
some
reason
they
put
lamb´s
lettuce
on
my
plate
aswell
even
though
there
was
no
mentioning
of
it
on
the
menu.
I´m
certainly
not
an
expert
but
salad
with
vinegar
dressing
doesn´t
go
well
with
french
toast
with
maple
syrup
(!).
To
me
it
looked
like
a
desperate
attempt
to
fill
up
the
plate
to
camouflage
that
they
were
short
on
some
ingredients.
Anyways,
after
we
waited
over
ten
minutes
for
the
bill
we
prepared
to
leave
and
were
eventually
able
to
pay.
Sorry
guys
but
that
was
nicht
gut!
