Why you should visit Rüyam Gemüse Kebab 2

Highly recommended for its exceptional kebabs and generous portions. Despite potential queues and cash-only payments, the unique flavors and satisfying experience make it worthwhile. Consider visiting during off-peak hours to avoid long waits.

  1. To experience what many consider to be the best kebab in Berlin. The unique flavor combinations, generous portions, and reasonable prices make it a must-try for kebab lovers. The lively atmosphere adds to the experience.

Things you should know before visiting

Be prepared to pay in cash and potentially wait in line, especially during peak hours. The interior is heavily graffitied, and the toilets are often dirty. However, the quality of the kebab is generally considered worth these inconveniences. Weekday visits during lunchtime may have shorter wait times.

Good location to find the restaurant. It was a long queue but it was worth the wait. There was enough place to sit indoors. The food portions were huge and very tasty. The price was reasonable considering the portions and taste. It’s a must visit place to try the traditional Doner Kebabs.

Believe the hype: it's so good, I remember it so often! I wish I could have it every day! We came on a Monday night and they were sold out of meat and we decided to come next day and have it for our last lunch in Berlin. Queue was really small. They had a lot of staff and they all worked so fast and efficiently. There are seats inside. It was just so good!! All salad tasted super fresh, meat was juicy, the bread was delicious. It just tasted different from any kebab I had before and it was really good. Best kebab ever.

This place is vibing the whole street. They are not popular just because the food is good and the portions are MASSIVE but it's the whole atmosphere. Front of house is just DJ in the house and pulsing with the constant stream of customers. Back of house is quiet and chilled. Take your pick if you are not getting to go, there is plenty of seating and a place that suits you. They give free tea and coffee I think. I ordered the kebab teller and it is so big I had to pack away and maybe have it as dinner.

If you’re reading this, stop researching and just trust me, this is where you’re going. Go ahead and start making your way to this establishment, you won’t be disappointed. This has to be the best tasting kebab I’ve ever had and probably ever will have. I’m still dreaming about this meal. They only accept cash, so make sure to head to an ATM before arriving. It takes a bit to get your food, but it’s well worth the wait. They ask you what sauce you want when you order. They recommended the mixed option and that’s what we went with and my goodness was it tasty! Go go go! Enjoy that mouthwatering kebab you’ve always hoped for!

I really like the chicken and potato combination as well as all the flavors in the salad, As well as the multiple sauces. This is the best The Middle Eastern food I’ve ever had. The toilets had full of graffiti, As well as the entire interior of the place, so it was a little bit of a turn off, but the food made up for it.

Nothing short of extraordinary! I was skeptical of it being a tourist trap, but it exceeded my expectations! Got a clasic donner with garlic and spicy. It’s definitely the best thing i ate so far this year. Flavourful, fresh and simply amazing. If you come to Berlin you got to put this place on your list. Great job all!

Absolutely magnificent! A place to eat in Berlin, the Döner here tastes just great. Keep in mind that this place gets super busy during lunch and dinner times, massive queues and long waiting times but it’s worth it. Also at the time of my visit they only accepted cash and no card.

I have tried Kebab in Asia and US. This is the best one. If you don’t try this, you will miss a big part of Berlin. They only accept cash, if you are international make sure you carry some.

Great food, service and atmosphere. Went there on Friday night, so the queue was pretty big, but it went pretty smoothly and we even got seats inside. As a vegetarian, I had the falafel and was pretty impressed with the quality.

The best Döner/Dürüm I've had in my life! Juicy meat and just the right proportions of all ingredients. Also fresh, crunchy salad with a bit of mint. It felt like heaven! Also unexpectedly cheap:)

Brilliant döner and vibe inside the place, also the price is more than fair. Considering the reputation, they could charge more, but choose not to. Respect.

It was the best dürüm I’ve ever had in my life. It was spectacular, really. The taste was very unique and balanced. It had some special sauces, white cheese and baked potatoes (I think) which made it extra delicious. Yay, I really recommend it!

The best doner kebab I have ever had. It was so delicious that me & my friend went there again the next day. This place is absolutely worth the hype. Expect a long queue but its worth the wait. Also, they accept only cash payment. There is enough sitting space if you want to sit down & eat. The staff are friendly. I love how they say Dankeschön after every order served. Dankeschön!

The best kebabs I’ve ever had in my life. Went there 3 times in 2 days. Recommended by a friend who is a local. Everything from the service, food and shop atmosphere was 5/5.

We had an amazing experience at Rüya! The Gemüse Kebap was fresh and full of flavor, the Falafel Wrap was perfectly crispy and delicious, and the Dürüm Kebap was incredibly satisfying. Both the original and mango-flavored Ayran drinks were refreshing and unique. Every bite was absolutely delicious! We are definitely planning to recommend this place to all our friends visiting Germany. A must-visit for anyone who loves authentic and tasty food!

I was excited to try Rüyam after seeing so many positive reviews online. The line out the door when we arrived seemed to confirm its popularity. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere, and despite the crowd, the line moved efficiently. I ordered the #1 Gemüse chicken sandwich with everything and a side of fries #11. Finding a table was lucky given how busy it was, and watching other diners with their sandwiches only increased my anticipation. When I picked up my food at the counter, the sandwich looked impressive - generously stuffed with good looking ingredients. Price was very reasonable for the amount of food they gave. However, after taking my first bite, I mostly tasted salad and bread, with the chicken hardly noticeable. Even when I tried to get more meat in my second bite, the chicken was underwhelming and under-seasoned when tasted on its own. The positives: the fries were crispy and delicious, the bread was well-toasted, the salad is good, and they clearly use quality ingredients. But ultimately, it felt like eating an elaborate salad sandwich. As this was my first time having this type of sandwich I had nothing to compare it to. Three stars for good ingredients and efficient service, but the bland chicken and overwhelming salad-to-meat ratio left me disappointed based on the high expectations set by other reviews. Just my 2 cents.

Absolutely worth the wait. (Cash only) We visited on Tuesday around 7PM and line was around 25-30 people. Line itself moved pretty fast but food took about 20min to come out. We both ordered Gemüse Kebab and, to simply say, it was definitely worth the wait. Nothing else to say but to try for yourself.

If I ever go back to Berlin, the very first place I’m going to is here. Honestly the best kebabs I’ve ever had in my life!!!! It was so damn good!!!! Definitely lived up to the hype. I came right before midnight after exploring the Festival of Lights downtown. It was a Friday night so it was busy. I waited in line for 40 minutes, but lemme tell you… it is absolutely worth the wait! Best 7.80 euros I’ve spent so far on food. The wrap was massive! Had so much meat on there and the sauce was so goooooood. I still think about this kebab often. Do yourself a favour and visit this place because you will not regret it!

I ordered vegetarisch kebab and has been the best experience ever. I will never eat a kebab like that in order place. Also, nice music while waiting and kind waiters 😉

This is the first time I’ve ever left a review—because I’ve never wanted to recommend a food place this badly! If you’re in Berlin or anywhere nearby, you MUST come to Rüyam Gemüse Kebab 2 and order the Gemüse Kebab with everything. It is genuinely the best thing I’ve ever eaten, and I’ll be thinking about it until I (inevitably) come back. If you do just one thing in Berlin, please let it be this. It’s absolutely AMAZING!
