Very conveniently they only put the price tag of the small super fruit drink but not the big one, and charging €3.95 on the 330ml drink which you’d find out only when you pay. —- regarding your public reply (which was removed since I edited the review): Exactly, you did not put a price tag on the more expensive product. And it’s your responsibility to make the price transparent and not mine to “veto” it at the cashier. One-star rating is absolutely appropriate considering how you blamed the customer for falling for your price trap.

Mit viel gutem Willen gibt es zwei Sterne. Da ist noch viel Luft nach oben. Leider konnte ich vorher nicht in den Reiswärner schauen, sonnst hätte ich meine Bestellung storniert. Warum? Der Reis wurde nicht im Reiswärmer, sondern in einer Kunststoffbox, die im Wärmer stand, aufbewahrt und er war schlicht viel zu lange in der Box und kalt. Leute ihr werbt mit duftendem Jasminreis und serviert einen kalten Klumpen Reis in der Bowl? Was läuft in dieser Filiale falsch? Wer Sonntags kommt, kriegt alte Ware? Der Rest der Bowl war ok, wenn auch der Lachs nicht so frisch schmeckte, wie er sollte. Die Spicy Ginger Sauce war wohl alle, sie fehlte auf beiden Bowls. Generell fehlte bei der Lachs Bowl (Empfehlung des Restaurants) der versprochene Umami. Da war nix mit Power oder Geschmacksexplosion. Leute, eigentlich schuldet ihr uns zwei Bowls, die richtig und mit frischem Reis zubereitet sind, denn das war nix!

Understaffed at lunch time. 20-30 min waiting time is too long for a salad. Staff is really friendly though and doing their best.

My go to place when I travel business to Berlin. Good vegan and vegetarian options, reasonably priced and quick yet friendly service. I recommend the Paris wrap and the grilled veggies salad. Smoothies are very good too 👍 keep the good work guys at this D&D branch!!

I went there at lunch time. After standing at the cashier ready to order and being ignored by the staff for several minutes, I was told that it was not possible to make a customized salad at the moment despite what was advertised. No explanation given. Bad customer experience.

I visited this place a few times. Food is always great, tasty and fresh and prepared to order quickly. No complaints there! There’s a choice of meat, seafood and veggie/vegan options for anyone, as well as salads, bowls and usually a soup and curry. There is no guest toilet and nowhere to was your hands, which is a huge minus. The hand sanitizer doesn’t work.

Food delicious but unfortunately suffered bad stomach pains after seeking advice on a hot gluten, dairy and soya free dish. Was firstly recommended to have soup then told it contained gluten so ordered Thai green curry with chicken with an Acai smoothie. Unfortunately don't recommend this restaurant for people with allergies. It's too busy and seemed to be 3 different people involved in the ordering and preparation of my lunch. Edame beans were added which I had to remove although asked for soya free. It's such a shame as they have all the ingredients but not the right mix or training for all staff. One member of staff seemed knowledgeable but too many different people involved in preparation. Muggle husband thoroughly enjoyed his chicken teriyaki.

Bowls are okay but its pretty annoying that there is only person who is looking after the till and preparing the food. Considering people around working here are coming here for lunch that’s a bad planning

Enjoyed my dinner and staff was very friendly, but they had none of the bowls available to order. I wanted to order a crispy chicken bowl initially, but had to go for a salad with sweet potatoes and falafel instead. It tasted very good though. There was no toilet available for customers.

Slow service. There is a reason why Starbucks has one person taking orders and another person making the coffees. I guess that concept goes over Dean and David's head. But once we did manage to place an order after queuing behind a group of teens all wanting heated wraps (each of which was individually prepared and heated by the person taking the orders), the food was ready quite quickly and was delicious.

Essen war gut. Es wurde falsch abgerechnet, was wir allerdings leider erst später bemerkten. Tische waren nicht abgewischt. Besteck war kaum bis gar nicht vorhanden und dreckig.

I ordered one Tea&Budah bowl just few days before. And i asked to staff(young guy), could i have a tap water for my medicine. Then he said, No! You have to buy bottle of water. If i didn’t buy any drinks, of course i have to buy water at dean&david. But i already ordered one tea, and i couldn’t drink hot water for my medicine. And i paid almost 13euros. An that time was fully empty. Me and just one customer. Cafe next door, if i order one espresso(1,90euros) they gave me tap water without any complains. And even budah bowl’s vegetable also taste was not fresh oil, then i left almost half of my food. What a waste of my money and bad experience. The Food was fresh and tasty. I had a carrot soup and a crispy beef Bowl and they were delicious. Although, l felt that it was too much food for one person. It’s a great option also for vegans or vegetarians. Self service, but nice personnel.

Very tasty food, big portions, menu for vegan too. You can choose from menu or create your own bowl too. I can just really recommend.

In picture: chicken vitality salad. I wanted first a salad with pumpkin and goat cheese but they did not have pumpkin. So I changed my order. This was recommended to us so we popped in for lunch. Service was excellent, polite and efficient. Prices were good with a huge number of options on the menu. The food was delicious and very filling. Clean and well spaced tables too.

Worst lunch ever! Just arrived in Berlin looking for a yummy MEAL, unluckily me and my boyfriend opted for this place. We waited kind of 10 minutes in front of one of the two guys working there (actually having a call in front of the customers) to make our order, BUT IT'S FINE. Then we waited 45 MINUTES for a salad, a bowl and a wrap (which was already prepared and exposed) , and the food was sincerely disgusting, freezed. I asked if it was possible to heat at least the wrap, which was ICE. The answer of course was NO.... A grain wrap wrapping other 2/3carbos.... Don't you guys know anything about nutrition? I got out of there with stomac-ache and of course I left most of my food there because neither animals would eat that freezed and LOW LOW QUALITY stuff without getting a congestion. With zero degrees outside (and inside the deli as well)it is not a great deal. Plus, A family of four has arrived 25 mins after us and after ten minutes they were eating salads with bigbread slices on them (Which we did not receive, of course). Maybe they just have two different modalities of treating local customers and tourists, maybe they think tourists just don't understand. As an Italian cooker,This is not a bad try, these people just don't know what cooking means. I really hope Berlin can offer something different. Ps: no toilet!

Honestly this was the best salad I've ever had. I am a very picky eater so it does not happen often that I am this impressed by food haha. I can't find the name but I had this avocado-halloumi salad with red dressing and.. it was just absolutely delicious. Thank you! Will come again when back in Berlin for sure :)

I ordered Chicken Teriyaki Bowl and cappuccino on vegan milk. Everything was incredible! This is a first place where rice is not tasteless. Definitely one of my favourite places in Berlin

This was the first restaurant I visited when I first came to Berlin. I am glad I did because the sandwich was amazing and the staff was super friendly. That was a great first impression for a someone new in the city which I will always remember.

food is really good! but price is a bit high for just salad! .....some of their staff need to improved about the courtesy along the clients! In general the place is fine, if you're nearby Karl-Liebknecht stasse and you like to eat something fast and healty definitely dean&david is the right place to do so! Regards!

We visited dean&david during our trip to Berlin with a group of 16 teenagers and we really enjoyed it. There is a great variety of food available. The staff was friendly and patient. The food was delicious, fresh and the presentation impressive. Next time in Berlin we will be back.

Their "Norwegian Premium salmon" is just smoked salmon. I ordered the pokebowl expecting raw salmon like every other restaurant would serve. At this price it's really not a good deal. The bowl itself also tasted very mediocre.

I have been to several Dean and David locations for their salads. I have no idea why, but this location didn't give us bread and this location doesn't have a toilet!!!!!! No place to wash your hands or use the restroom. I was expecting to have the normal nice Dean and David experience I usually have, but no. I wouldn't recommend visiting this location. Go to another place where you can get the full service. Quite disappointing. I see photos of bread with other people's meals, why didn't my boyfriend and I get them. Service should be consistent, but really I think it's horrible that the location doesn't have a toilet for customers to use. Shame on you.

Based off the positive reviews on Google we popped along to Dean&David and it did not disappoint. Nice modern, minimal decor, with a lovely space at the back. The food consists of a variety of salad options: meat, fish and vegetarian available. Also bowls that you can add rice to. Portions of salad were great and very fresh, the only thing Id say is the portion of fish and chicken substitute we had were a bit small especially the chicken substitute. Overall a great, solid, modern salad bar.

Amazing salad bar, the best one I've been to! It's cozy and clean and you can have takeout as well. I advise making your own salad - you won't be disappointed, the choice of toppings and ingredients is wide and versatile. And the quality and amount of delicious salad you get is definitely worth it's price! Also has free Wi-Fi and if you ask the cashier to fill your water bottle they gladly do it :)
