The hotel is very centrally located (still quiet as it is in the second row) and I was very impressed by the cleanliness of the room, the size and the fitness area is also well equipped. The staff is very nice and was able to pack me a lunch box for breakfast since I had to check out early. Highly recommended for professional or private stays!

We actually wanted to spend a few days there. We were there 3 years ago and were very impressed. But because the wellness area is currently closed, we chose another hotel. We just walked past there and saw that the bar was also closed. And something where you could still sit outside nicely in this weather. Conclusion: Everything was right with the other hotel.

I stayed twice in a month and my experience went from bad to worse. The standard of this hotel is currently at best a 2 star hostel. In terms of defunct services: the spa is permanently closed, restaurants and bars all closed, rooms tired and aged, the hotel itself is closing and there will be new management from January 2022. Service was terrible: from bad room assignments, bed selections, duvet (is it so much to ask for a double bed with a double duvet? I thought not, but was told “this is not England”). There is no housekeeping on site at all(!) after a certain time so checking in at 7pm with any of the above requests is not possible. Someone barged into our room and woke us up at 9am on a Sunday (ironically to deliver the new duvet) with the “do not enter” sign on the door. They did not clean the room after putting the “please clean room” on the door all day the following day, though we know they did return and enter the room later in the day to change the duvet, deliberately not replacing the dirty towels which we had left on the floor, and with the sign requesting to clean still hanging on the door. This place has given up all hope and is muddling though dying a slow death until January. Reception poorly manned. I get the sense some staff are exceptionally embarrassed and others are outright rude. After complaining they gave me 10% off my bill which I felt was hugely inadequate but I didn’t want to further spoil the weekend with more negative energy complaining. Do not stay here.

2 stars ⭐️ Motel! This is not anymore a 5 star hotel! The bar and the restaurant is closed. The cleaning is just coming every 2. Day, and when they came they forgot to clean a broken glass on the floor. Other than that: The minibar is closed. The wardrobes are removed the coffee machine has no coffee There is NO room service, the sun terrace is closed. This hotel is like a 2 star motel! It seems like they didn’t put any effort to keep the good service open and they say it’s because of Covid 😆 my guess is they made Covid as an excuse for saving money! You will definitely have a better time in a 2 star ⭐️ motel. The staff had little or less understanding for my complaints. I’m sorry 😞 The only thing that is open is the room.

This hotel is located in one of the best spots in west Berlin, very near central places and the Zoo Bahnhof but also on a quiet square without traffic and noise. The room they gave us was spacious and comfortable, clean and nicely equipped with coffee and tea maker. The staff is kind and supportive. Overall a great experience!

Nice service at reception, however I had to wait for my room additional two hours. Staff offered to keep my luggage for this time. Room was clean and comfortable. I had a feeling that there is too small amount of elevators, as sometimes it took few minutes of wait till one will arrive, and you had no guarantee that you will fit inside. Nice breakfast, however I could not find vegetables - asked personnel was confused, but agreed, that they are missing. After few minutes they bringed them directly to my table.

Very good hotel in the middle. We were a bit unlucky because there were several conferences taking place and as a result the bar was very busy loud. Very good beds and good cleaning staff. We also liked that it was only cleaned every 2 days. Reception very good, but outrageously expensive garage.

For now, it's renovation and my work, I hope that the Internet will work fine

We really enjoyed our stay here - the location is great but still quiet, the staff was always very friendly and the rooms were very clean. But the highlight was the breakfast, which is one of the best we have ever had in a hotel in Germany - a very large selection of freshly prepared dishes and an extensive buffet.

A really lovely place. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is excellent. There's a superb selection of hot/cold drinks, continental and cooked foods. My room is really amazing. All very plush. The Nespresso coffee machine was particularly appreciated. It's in a very convenient location, with nearby restaurants and shops within a short walk. There's also a bar and restaurant within the hotel itself. I will certainly visit again. Highly recommended.

Was there for a three day congress and it was great. Room was clean, comfy and spacious. I did not get to use the spa but a lot of guests were making use of it seems like a good option. It was well connected to the city center and airport, they even provided us with a free public transport pass during our stay, I don't know if this common in Berlin but it was a novelty for us. There even was an issue with some guest charging beers on the hotel bar on my rooms account and staff resolved it quickly and without forcing an uncomfortable situation for me. I can't comment on price as I was not who made the booking, but it was a great stay overall.

Had a pleasant stay here for few days. Service is great, and room service was damn fast. They have nice SPA zone with small pool and sauna. Very nice location. But still can't give it 5 stars, it doesn't feel as 5 stars for me. Room space are too small for that price.

Great hotel. Location is good (Had Döner nearby the first night). The rooms were comfortable. Had a real good night's sleep. The breakfast was superb. It was my first steigenberger hotel. My only negative point is that it may not be value for money for a family/leisure trip.

Loved the hotel, didn't want to leave! Staff are so friendly and helpful, hotel rooms were kept clean and well maintained, good sized rooms, bathrooms were lightly smaller than the pics but still clean. Pool was roughly 3ft, very amazing though... have a spa and sauna, massages are roughly between €40-€120, pools open from 9am-10pm, sauna is open from 1pm-10pm. Would definitely stay here again! 😁

Centrally located, easily accessible, surrounded by shopping area. Reception can take a while before you will be adhered to. The rooms are clean. Beds very relaxing. Breakfast is an asset, with different options presented and freshly baked or cooked. Staff are friendly and helpful. Concierge really lovely, just makes you feel welcomed. Early check-in or late checkout are charged extra!!!

A very pleasant hotel, nicely furnished, friendly staff, comfortable and quiet rooms with quality bathrooms. It's a great place for exploring all of the city, east and west. The circular pool is a bit different and there's a spa too but we didn't try that. There are three things which stopped this getting a full 5 stars. 1) The standard pillows are rubbish and evaporate at the weight of a human head. There is a pillow menu which I discovered after night 2 and requested either of two alternatives. There was nobody available from housekeeping to provide them for night 3 but I was assured they'd be there the next day. They were not. 2) People seemed to be using the sauna nude. There was no sign to say this couldn't happen, but I'd rather assume it's something which would be warned about beforehand if it's happening. 3) In the pool area people had their mobiles out constantly which seemed both a potential electrocution hazard but also a privacy issue. Mobiles usually should not be allowed near swimming pools and generally aren't in my experience. Beyond those points I would certainly stay here again. It's convenient for public transport and for shopping (especially KaDeWe).

Rooms were clean and nice and spacious. The breakfast itself was very good. Enough choice of everything. The only negative point I would rate is the service at the breakfast buffet. I wasn't offered coffee on the second day. In my opinion it doesn't work at all. Walked past our table several times. I saw that I didn't have any coffee and still didn't ask if I could have some. Disgraceful for 5 stars. Otherwise the hotel is really very nice. Other service excellent. (Reception and room service)

Well-equipped rooms, nice and courteous staff. The location of the hotel is very central, but not really noisy. It's just in the middle of Berlin. The service in the room (equipment with samples, etc.) is currently limited for hygiene reasons. This was well communicated. Recommended.

Efficient unloading

My boyfriend got blisters on his upper body because of the shower. “If a lot of people shower at the same time and they stop showering, it happens the other people who are still using hot water get boiling hot water.” This is what the maintenance guy told us afterwards. If you bring small children to this hotel, there is a chance they will get burned in their faces. The response from the reception was for a hotel in this price range was below average. A positive note, the location was very good.

The location of the hotel is fantastic. The rooms are cleaned well every day and have modern facilities. The pool could be bigger and cleaner for so many people. Nevertheless, I give 5 stars for the excellent location, the Berlin Ticket with which you can use all buses and trains and for the fact that in this location the rooms are very quiet and no noises enter the room. We'd love to come back

Breakfast 🥐 is perfect , good location respectful staff and so friendly.but the price are a little bit high.

We recently visited Berlin for the marathon and stayed at the Steigenberger. The hotel was excellent. Great breakfast buffet - and the staff was incredible. The location is great for access to the zoo, Tiergarten and more.

Really bad catering. Only tab water during our event. i was very disappointed. Can’t recommend this hotel. Unfriendly staff. You can get a better stay somewhere else!

Stayed for two nights. Hotel staff was polite and accommodating. Room was clean and cute. Bed was comfortable. Great place to stay at to catch an early train.
