We stayed here for four days visiting from New York. Very easy and friendly check in. Our caravans were just as cute as the website photos!! The bathroom was very clean and we appreciated the teapot to boil water to have tea in the afternoons. The wifi was very fast (actually better than a luxury hotel we stayed in!) Our favorite part of this hostel though was the neighborhood! It has a very cool vibe. We loved the places to eat and have coffee.

We discovered to stay here just the day before flying to Berlin as it was a gifted holiday, so when we found out we were going to stay in a painted caravan we couldn’t believe that haha. We can say that it was an amazing surprise and a magical experience that everyone needs to try at least once in a life. Our ‘room’ was super clean as well as the bathroom and the entire space. When we arrived we had the entire space for us ‘cause nobody was there yet, so we had more privacy of course, but when other people came we immediately felt less lonely and was really nice to meet them! :) Also the girls at the reception were super kind and friendly!! Absolutely recommend Hüttenpalast✨

Our children had a great stay at the mobile home area and my partner and I stayed in the hotel room. Very pleasant big windows, high ceiling rooms. Very friendly personnel and a great location in Berlin. Would definitely visit again!

Would highly recommend staying here. So many delicious restaurants in the area and very walkable to the street market and a few bars. A little far south from some of the east Berlin attractions but for a nice day, it’s a good walk! Public transport in Berlin is amazing anyway, so you can go that route if necessary. The caravans are all really unique and cute! They are on the small side but sufficient for if you’re planning to spend most of your time out anyway. Very convenient early check in is allowed which made it easy when we checked out from our previous hotel to just go straight there. Everyone is very friendly and flexible!

Such a unique place to stay! We felt secure in the building and the amenities were clean and easy to use. The campers are cozy so I would recommend to couples or close friends who don’t mind sharing small spaces. The staff was friendly and welcoming during check in, and I really enjoyed my breakfast on the patio! A great stay.

It looks super cute, the location is great and ppl are friendly. But if you are a light sleeper, don't stay here because you will be a wake a lot of times 😅🙈 there is a lot of noise from ppl walking around and talking. If you want to sleep in the morning, sleep somewhere else haha.

The customer care, ambiance, cleanliness, location and creativity of this stay was unmatched. Everyone involved in the upkeep of this place made us feel welcomed and every step of our stay was thought out even when other hotel rooms we looked at were overpriced and paled in comparison to how we were treated and cared for here. Kreuzberg, the neighbourhood Huttenpalast is located in was also walkable, vibrant, yet relaxed. The whole place was also so spotless, flowers were up-kept and it was a pleasure to explore the cafe and the different corners of creativity at this stay. If the caravan stay peeked your interest, just wait till you experience the rest of what this oasis has to offer its guests. Genuinely can't recommend it enough! Run don't walk to save your place here, even if just for the night! 🚐 · 🚌 · 🚙 · 🏃

Staff was kind and helpful. The experience is a bit rugged since it's not a regular hotelroom. It's like a hostel with private rooms. I recommend bringing flipflops for those WC and shower breaks. The only downside could be the location. There seems to be not much germany left there. More like Egypt. I suggest visiting the other side of the wall also.

The rooms err towards the spartan side, but clean, spacious and very comfortable. Service is friendly, there is an excellent café at one of the entrances and the location is ideal: quick access to both airport and Mitte, as well as a shortish walk from Tempelhof. Would recommend.

My favorite place to stay in Berlin! I've stayed in one of the 'hutten' as well as in one of the hotel rooms and both were perfect, although the stay in the Caravan was of course more special than the 'normal' room. :) The caravans and huts all are great examples of upcycling, with a lot of attention to detail. All the sleeping areas have small hidden surprises and, a comfy bed. The 'campsite' is furnished with unique, picturesque retro furniture and decoration. Very photogenic and very cosy! Silke and Silvia are super friendly and very helpful.

I've been in love with this hotel from a far for years. I absolutely love vintage caravans so couldn't wait to plan trip to Berlin to visit. It's super cute and really cool. The space is well thought out, with your own 'camping' space, and good beds in the caravans, shared bathroom and complementary tea and coffee. It's also in a great location with an interesting neighborhood and good local bars and restaurants. only downside is it's noisy at night from other guests in the hall, it was also very hot in the hall so not ideal for sleeping. The owners are helpful and friendly and cafe is great for breakfast. I'd love to see it in the summer with the outdoor seating area, I'd love to know more about the caravans.

Found this place in a style magazine and I wasn't disappointed. Took my partner as a surprise early Christmas present and we loved it. We stayed in the suspended striped caravan (Dubener ie). The bed was very comfortable and the little seating area underneath was very cute. The lounge was useful and we spent one evening in there chatting and catching up with emails etc using the free wi-fi. Everything about the palace of the huts is brilliant and quirky. Take ear plugs and eye mask if you don't want to be disturbed by your fellow campers. We slept every night and didn't mind waking early. The owners were really friendly and chatty and made fabulous breakfast eggs and tea!!!!! Arriving at Schoenefeld airport you need to buy a ticket from machine in arrivals (day zone ABC 7.70 euros or single ABC if you're not going to travel for the rest of the day - don't forget to validate your ticket on the bus or in the stations by using the stamp machine because inspectors do sometimes check tickets). Walk straight out the door and get on the waiting X7 bus to Rudow (approx 10 mins). Follow the crowds to the underground and get on the line to Hermannplatz. From there use your phone maps to get to Hutten palast (8 min walk). There's a nearer underground station to travel around the city on other lines and I recommend a day AB ticket (7 euros) if you are making several journeys. Our 5 day stay was brilliant and I can't wait to return-thanks ladies for your amazing hospitality!

We loved our stay at Hüttenpalast. They were flexbile with our check-in time, allowing us to come early. It was one of our favorite places to stay on our honeymoon! The garden areas are beautiful and the lodging is unique. Highly recommended.

If all you want for €100/night is a quite good bed, quite good shower and quite good net, this is quite good! You get literally nothing more. Worn, slightly stained sheets, tiny towels, no cooling, not even a €20 fan, shower floods the bathroom, no fridge, no tv. Its a 2* place at a 3* price.

Had a great time staying here! Decor is obviously delightfully quirky, but the service is perfect with lots of options for coming home late, breakfast, etc. Other guests were perfectly friendly and non-obtrusive. Slept very well. Location isn't right in the center but in a bustling area and very close to a metro station. I would highly recommend going to the Indian place on the corner, Avtaar, for your first meal!

We really enjoyed our stay in one of the hotel rooms and the vibe of the camp site. Also appreciated the talk with the owner and her great tips.

The Hüttenpalast hotel in the heart of Berlin is perfect for those who want to enjoy the coziness of camping without leaving the convenience of the city. Book a stay in a caravan, hut or cabin all built within an old factory courtyard. Each lodging choice is unique and full of personality, with a cozy vintage feel and all of the conveniences you need to properly relax.
