My daughter and I both had the Käsespätzle which was probably the best Spätzle I’ve had in Germany (it’s my go to meal!). My partner had the haxe (pork knuckle) - crackling was perfect apparently and the meat was falling off the bone. Even though it was a very busy Friday evening, our food was served promptly. I don’t speak very good German, and what I do speak is a bit muddled - luckily my poor language skills weren’t an issue as staff all spoke great English (sorry I butchered your language at you!). Children aren’t forgotten and the beer garden has a large sandpit in the corner to keep little ones entertained. There was a lovely, friendly atmosphere in the beer garden and I wouldn’t hesitate to come back again when I’m next in Berlin. It’s got great transport links too - right across the road from Tiergarten S-Bahn Station (use the Bachstraße exit). Thanks for looking after us so well!
