The atmosphere is amazing, no bad comment for that. But we have received the worst service ever. Was totally not respected and worst experience in an amazing atmosphere. Waiter trying to argue with you, trying to rip you off and introducing as the manager when i asked for the manager. Another waiter who was Turkish was helpful and solved all the problems at once because he was friendly. If you want a cozy atmosphere i highly recommend it but i suggest you go to the bar and have a couple of drinks that’s it. But the rest is not recommended at all. The worst treatment and experienced i had recently.

Ideal date spot, fireplace, quiet and spacious area, quite dark with quick and friendly service. Not so much vegetarian and vegan options, so pizzas.. but variety of deserts, soups and meat. Amazing view during summer time and great location near park

Amazing calm and cozy place. You get in touch with the nature while you enjoy your drink. A small oasis in the heart of the immense Tiergarten. The staff super polite and with the large capacity You don't need to worry about finding a spot to sit, gaze and rest so as you can enjoy later on your tour in Berlin.

Süßer Ort für im Sommer ein Bier oder Firmenfeier. Leider jetzt beim Weihnachtsessen bisschen enttäuschend geschmeckt. Trockenes Fleisch und die vegetarische Alternative (Kürbis im Teig) hat eher wie eine Nachspeise geschmeckt. Die tatsächliche Nachspeise war ganz gut. Der Service war auch etwas unaufmerksam.

Das Café am neuen See ist sehr schön gelegen. Egal ob Sommer oder Winter es ist immer einen Besuch wert. Besonders nach einem Spaziergang im Tierpark. Der Blick auf den See in Kombination mit der Sonne ist sehr gemütlich. Das Essen und Trinken war bei all meinen Besuchen immer hervorragend

A nice place to rest and have a good time with friends, family or collegues. I ordered an orange lemonade only. It tasted more like elderflower than orange. The service has been super friendly, patient and helpful.

Cool, good looking place for a beer. We were watching here a football match. Only downsides was that the TV was extremely loud and second that the toilet was paid!!! Paid toilet in a beer place is a no go!

Top location with a nice and big beer garden in the summer. Good atmosphere, does get very busy on a nice summer's night. Our group tried the pizzas which unfortunately were disappointing (dough like a Flammkuchen).

I like the vibe. It’s what you would expect of it, quite packed in summer, food is okay, the location is lovely! You can rent a little boat on the lake. It used to be much calmer and smaller with its little cabin years ago and since has become much more touristy unfortunately. But still lively if you want to grab some drinks. Try to go during the week, if you want it a little more serene!

Overall, I love this place. The service is great, it’s a very good atmosphere both in the summer in the Biergarten outside and in the winter inside. However, I think the food quality could be a bit better to make it a truly memorable experience, seemed like they are short on staff and that makes the quality suffer a bit.

This is undoubtedly one of my favorite spots to enjoy a lunch following a stroll in Tiergarten. The dishes here are exceptionally delicious and expertly prepared. The drink selection is diverse, and the coffee is particularly noteworthy. While I have yet to sample their homemade cakes, I've no doubt they're equally delightful. The service at this establishment is commendable. The receptionist goes above and beyond to secure a table, even without a reservation, and all the waitstaff are incredibly cordial and attentive. It's a rarity in Berlin to find staff willing to take the time to explain the dishes. The ambiance is truly one-of-a-kind, with a picturesque view of Neuen See, accompanied by cool music and inviting fireplaces.

Cafe am Neuen See in Berlin fell short of expectations. The service was disappointingly slow, and the staff seemed indifferent. The food lacked flavor, and the overall ambiance didn't match the picturesque location. It's unfortunate that the potential of such a beautiful setting isn't fully realized in the dining experience here.

This place was completely outstanding. My best meal experience by far in the city. Food was delicious, the restaurant is warm and cozy, very elegant as well. The staff is very friendly and they are happy to help you with the translation of the menu which they only have in german. Prices are reasonable. Recommended 100%. Nice view of the lake as well

It's a very nice Biergarten with lots of seating area and beautiful views of the Tiergarten and the lake. The atmosphere is very chilled with a mixture of international crowd. There's a sandpit to keep the littles ones busy. You also get to see many beautiful dogs here, which I love. Now let's get to the food part. The menu is very limited. Sausage with Bratkartoffeln, Leberkäse, 1/2 chicken with Kartoffeln salt and pizza. Unfortunately, their pizza oven broke down at 12:30 (peak rush hour on a beautiful Saturday afternoon) and pizzas were therefore not available. The kids were hugely disappointed by this fact. The food here is not at all cheap. The service is 5/5, swift with extremely friendly staff who all speak English. The Beers are great from the tap. I only wish they would pay a bit more focus to their food offerings. Perhaps Include french fries, ice cream or something else for the children. Overall a 3/5 for me due to the food and the unavailability of Pizza. Would I go here again? Sure!

We went for curling (on real ice here!) and it was wonderful. We were two people and didn’t have a reservation but David made sure we were able to play. The ambiance is also really cozy, with lots of fire pits with chairs to enjoy Glühwein, hot chocolate, etc. A perfect spot to for a festive afternoon/evening.

Don't go here if you're really hungry. We waited quite some time just to order and then waited another eternity until the food finally arrived (when the coffee was already cold). And the portions are not big. Saw a lot of other tables that this happened to as well. And it was a normal Tuesday morning. The ambience is 5/5 though, really cool. I'd go here if you're not in a rush and aren't too hungry.

A very nice spot to get some drinks and pizza by the lake in Tiergarten especially on a sunny day. We got some beers (4.80 € for 500 ml) and an Aperol Spritz (6.90 €). You can also usually rent a boat for 12€/hour.

Awesome place for drinks with friends and some bites. Came here for a group dinner and really enjoyed the ambience and the local. You have plenty of tables for everyone and a big variety of foods to chose from. The food was also pretty tasty. Prices are relatively high but I believe its worth to visit. Recommend it!

Great location for a summer lunch and to bring older, traditional visitors. Best to reserve a table if you want to ensure outdoor sitting. Friendly service, clean bathrooms. The light, the vibe and the even the DJ seating in the lake boat was enjoyable.

A beer garden in the heart of Berlin. With lots of open air seating of wooden tables and benches it has a nice relaxed ambience. It serves great beer. An ideal place to spend a summer evening. The hanging lights add a special touch to this lake facing garden especially after it gets dark.

We read about this place on the internet. During Summers there's this lovely Café and biergarten that one should definitely go and enjoy the great view in the heart of Tiergarten. However, on the day we decided to go there, not only the Café was not open, but we lost the breakfast menu for 10 minutes. So, we had pizza instead. It was delicious and the beverages refreshing and better than expected. A complement to the service. It was full when we arrived, but the waiter was very nice to us and we could see that he was also very atentious to the others as well. The food arrived quickly and even though we couldn't find what we originally wanted, we had a great time there.

Service was ok, but food… two dishes from three were not tasty (monkfish was really very strange in consistency and taste, salmon was absolutely salty, lamb was delicious), so avoid of fish in this place. 160 euro for dinner of 4

I came here multiple times. Food is okay. Salmon dish was not special. Pizza is good. Last time ordering outside and inside was separated, which I didn't like. And I don't remember how was previously. I am sure in summer we were sitting outside and food came from inside!!!! Tucked beside a serene lake, this beer garden offers a delightful experience. We had Heffe Weisse and Helles beer, which were refreshing and flavorful. The menu featured thin base pizza, chicken with potato salad, and halloumi salad, all delicious choices. The ambiance was lovely, surrounded by nature's beauty. A perfect spot to relax and enjoy a cold brew.

Amazing area to chill and enjoy the nature. Delicious food but a bit oily. It’s a selfservice to get your food and the peoply will get the empty dishes. Before or after you can take a walk around or rent a boat and ride in the river. Nice place to spend time with your friends

This place was incredible. It was very busy, but the system they use of organising food/drinks meant there was minimal waiting time. The view, food and atmosphere was beautiful. Definitely don’t go here if you want a quiet secluded dinner. The place was very busy on a Thursday night.

Great place. In summer one can sit outdoor by the lake and have yammi pizza and other food. I come here regularly. This time it was for the Oktoberfest which was really cool. I recommend that place.

Really hard to find anywhere to sit and there was an event going on as well. €5 for a beer is also high in my opinion. Atmosphere was really nice, although expect a lot of bugs as you are in a wooded area on the water. People there are nice to talk to and you will see children/pets around playing. The food is some of the best we've had in Berlin, and every beer was a hit. For €12 you can rent a paddle boat on the water for an hour. Fun place to relax :)

Beautiful terrace with view at the pond. The service was very slow and the place was not even crowded. The dishes are very expensive so everyone preferred to eat at the self-service wurst places there.

We absolutely LOVED this restaurant located in the middle of Tiergarten. After a long stroll through the park, we came across this beautiful restaurant on a lake within the park - everything is so amazing, from the decor of the place to the outdoor area which is just super. You can rent a small boat to row across the lake at €12 for one hour (each boat can take up to 4 people). We then visited the restaurant to eat - good selection of dishes, mouth-watering homemade lemonade and a nice ambience. Really recommend for lunch and dinner options and also for a chill drink by the lake!

We came to this place by chance and we got a nice surprise. We really liked the atmosphere, there were people of all ages. It is suitable to go with children. There are variety of foods for different tastes. There are tables by the lake with a beautiful view. I'm not giving 5 stars because I found it a bit expensive.

Nice place to enjoy warm evenings with a few pints of beer. Unfortunately, we came there in mid-September, so the evening was quite chilly. Luckily, the place had lit up beautiful candles at each table that helped us warm up. The beers are a bit expensive but the atmosphere makes the price fair. It’s a nice place to come with friends. -1 start for a bit unclean bathroom
