I stopped by Café Krone for lunch on a Thursday to meet a friend and was pleasantly surprised! The Avocado Toast was delicious and tasted really fresh. The service was also faster than expected, even though the place was quite busy. The staff were friendly and made sure that I had everything I needed. The café itself has a really nice rustic vibe and the terrace is perfect for summer days. They have plenty of vegan and healthy options on the menu. Overall, I had a great experience at Café Krone and would definitely recommend it to others! You could also work from here when it's not super crowded.

Outrageously overpriced, unfortunately. 18€+ for a small Eggs Benedict is not cool. That’s 50% more than what it was less than 2 years ago. Taste was fine but I won’t be back for sure.

Da wir nur Kaffee getrunken haben und was süßes gegessen, können wir das Essen noch nicht wirklich korrekt einschätzen. Aber es ist ein wirklich hübsches Café, das liebevoll und gemütlich eingerichtet ist und in dem man sich sehr wohl fühlt. Der Kaffee sowohl im Original als auch in der Getreidevariante waren sehr lecker das Personal super freundlich und sehr flott. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und probieren das hochgelobte Frühstück aus.

Not only the best brunch place, also the friendliest staff! There was a huge line on to have seat but it was moving pretty quick. I ordered the Bacon N' Eggs and orange juice! They were freshly made. What could be improved: -You can add gluten free alternatives in the menu. All in all it was still a great experience and would recommend.

The food was decent but nothing extraordinary. One downside was the wait time during weekends, sometimes taking over an hour for the food to be served. While the staff was courteous, there were occasional mix-ups, especially when it came to cake orders. It seems they often ran out or there were other issues. Furthermore, some staff members had difficulties with English, leading to some communication barriers. Nevertheless, I still suggest friends give Café Krone a try. It offers an authentic Berlin breakfast experience in the heart of Mitte, providing a vibrant atmosphere and a lot to see, especially over the weekend. 😊

For me it is overrated. For the price, I expected better taste and also dishes made with more effort. Portions were also small for the price. The staff was also not really helpful finding a place for us to sit. Only thing I liked was the presentation of the dishes. I am not sure if this is always the case, but I wouldn't go there again.

Wir waren in einer Gruppe das erste Mal hier zu Gast und sind rundum begeistert. Die Auswahl an Speisen & Getränke ist super, die Bedienung ist unglaublich freundlich und alles hat exzellent geschmeckt. Man kann hier wirklich eine tolle Zeit verbringen. Kartenzahlung ist kein Problem.

First let’s talk about the service. This place is second to none. We had a small incident with the chair collapsing when my wife sat on. She was okay, wasn’t injured or anything and we were cool about it. The team however decided to give us the food for free upon payment and only charged the drinks. We had ordered two most expensive dishes (we didn’t know they were gonna give out discount) in the menu so it was like a 80% discount. Well done guys, we are super impressed by the hospitality. You guys are amazing. Now about the food, there is a good variety of options for brunch lovers. To be honest the food is good, but we have tasted better elsewhere (thank you again for the free food). We feel the food is a bit on the bland side of flavour, although the decoration is done quite eye-pleasing. That maybe just our preference though, since we prefer punchier taste.

After waiting 45 minutes outside and another hour after giving the order, I was actually planning writing no too good here. But when our orders arrived all the negative vibes flew back. As a fanatic cheese lover I have never had such a great cheese breakfast in my life. Not even at five star hotels. So many high quality cheese sorts, caramelised walnuts, fruit, dips, nice bread.....it was a dream. Also blueberry pancake and egg benedict were much over the standards and very delicious. Every single penny worth. Inside, even if it was very busy, there was no hectic, and was not noisy at all. A very relaxed atmosphere with friendly, professional staff. If you want to go there especially on Sundays, please keep in mind long waiting times, but it is really worth!

Fantastic place for enjoying a perfect and delicious brunch in Berlín. However, it's not a secret, and always is packed with people. But is worth paying a visit when you are in the City. great pancakes, juices and coffee. the staff is also great.

This is a cozy little place that offers mean brunches. It’s nothing short from outrageously delicious food, that’s so pretty to look at, that you’ll have a hard time taking your first bite. It’s rather busy but it’s worth the wait! The coffees are lush and are served in generous portions if asked for.

High quality breakfast with high quality fresh ingredients. Hollandaise was rich and creamy with just the right amount to not become overbearing. Eggs poached perfectly in both meals. Coffee as a Flat White which had a little too much milk for my taste but only just. Worth a visit!

Great vibe because of the staff , the place has an amazing menu for a weekend breakfast they have a bunch of great chefs making the best food. Coffee is very goood too .

I just love this place. Food slaps, coffee is great and overall a pretty special and elaborate menu that not many Brunch spots offer and can deliver on. Highly recommend their breakfast burger - but really everything is good. Eventho its highly busy, it feels cozy and comfortable in atmosphere 🫶🏼

Loved the Bacon N Eggs pancake!! Was there for brunch on a Sunday, so as expected very long queue. Was worth the wait. Would recommend making a reservation before going if you don’t want to wait for 30mins+. Will be back!

Great place to have breakfast or brunch. We ordered cappuccino, scrambled eggs and blueberry pancakes. Everything was delicious. Generally, there is a 20/30 mins wait time if you go in the afternoon or evening. We went in the morning and got in without any wait. The kitchen stops at 4 PM. Would highly recommend.

After anticipating a long waiting time due to it being the weekend, to my surprise we were seated right away! Cozy atmosphere with friendly staff. The bacon n’ eggs pancake plate had a unique twist to it making it very tasty. Highly recommend coming here!

Ein herzliches Willkommen erwartet die Gäste in der Krone! Egal, ob allein, vegan, vegetarisch oder in großen Gruppen - hier ist jeder willkommen. Das Frühstück mit Sandwiches ist wirklich lecker. Ich habe Whipped Matcha (5,80€) und AVOHOLIC K-STREET TOAST (18,30€) probiert. Die Gerichte waren ansprechend, aber der Preis könnte für einige Gäste hoch sein. Die Atmosphäre ist gemütlich, aber beachte, dass es gelegentlich etwas dauern kann, bis man einen Sitzplatz bekommt. Insgesamt eine positive Erfahrung, und ich freue mich auf meinen nächsten Besuch!

Been meaning to try this place for a while as it’s always full when I walk past. Finally gave it a go yesterday and it didn’t really live it up it’s hipe. It’s quite pricey but the portion was small (avocado smash) and the eggs were totally undercooked. However, the atmosphere is really nice and the staff were lovely. Also, the juice was nice.

Café Krone is a nice local brunch-lunch place where you can enjoy a lot of different choices and flavors of dishes even vegetarian, or meat-lover ones. Very nice and tasty coffee. Friendly staff and very helpful. Maybe a little bit of overpriced, but if you are visiting once the Berlin you should visit it. During weekends is very crowded and you have to wait, but during weekdays you will probably find a spot. We ordered the eggs and bacon pancakes. Very tasteful and big enough portion. The combination with with the Mable syrup made the overall dish even more unique. Maybe it needed some extra bacon.

love this brunch spot! i have been here three times and every time the quality and taste of the food is impeccable. the wait times might be a bit long on Sunday for brunch, but it is worth it. if you go, you must try the pancakes 🥞🍳

It was such a nice experience!! Food is really tasty and have a nice balance between healthy options and more sweet/charged ones. BUT the best was definitely the service! I'm not used to good service in this city but they were so so attentive and educated 🥰 I loved it!

We’ve been here before a few years back and really loved it. This time around we had a long wait for food (1h 10mins when we showed up at opening time). The food was mediocre, the eggs were a bit raw and the pancakes (oat sole mio) needed more sauce. You can definitely have a nice experience here if you get the right dish and are prepared to wait in line and a while for your food.

A great place to have a brunch, no reservation needed. Depends on the day and time, you can wait to be seated - especially if you want to stay outside. We ordered scrambled eggs, and pancakes and eggs. Scrambled eggs were delicious, pancakes were average but not bad. They also have some vegan options, and porridges if you are looking for an alternative for egg breakfasts.

Nettes Café, leckere Speisen und das Personal ist auch freundlich. Am Wochenende ist es super voll und man muss ewig warten, so dass man eher unter der Woche zum frühstücken kommen sollte. Kann den Hype jedoch nicht ganz nachvollziehen, da die Speisen oder das Café für Berlin nichts außergewöhnliches sind. Preise relativ hoch.

Perfekter Start in den Tag! Leckeres Frühstück und eine originelle, gemütliche Location, unser Lieblingscafé im Kiez. Die Speisen sind sehr köstlich und liebevoll angerichtet. Der Kaffee ist einfach fantastisch und es gibt eine Auswahl hausgemachter Kuchen, absolut empfehlenswert. Das Personal, stets freundlich und zuvorkommend, macht dieses Erlebnis noch angenehmer und der Wohlfühlfaktor ist super.

A long long queue in a Saturday morning 10am, it's easy to get a table if you are a couple. But more than two it's not worth the waiting. I waited 2 hours to have a table for 6. It's very pricey, I only had a pancake (3small slices) and it was 14,5$. The service, for sure take long wait because it was very busy but they are great and good :) A bit confuse but not because of the staffs I am sure it is because of the crowd

Perfect little brunch in the nicest street of Prenzlauer Berg. The menu is quite simple but everything is tasty (the shakshuka was particularly good). The place is cute and cosy, the service is great and the prices are fair. I will come back for sure !

I went with a friend on a Sunday early morning and we got the eggs benedict and blueberry pancakes. Both were very tasty, and the fresh juices had nice combinations. At 09:30 in the morning there were still some tables left, but when we left, around 11 there was already a line of people waiting.

Amazing cake. I loved the "lemon breeze". Enjoyed the "golden latte". Hope to be able to come back here.

Great spot for a brunch. Can get pretty busy on the weekends, but worth the wait. Great eggs, great drinks, but the cakes are my fav. Orange cheesecake has my heart. They accept card and have a baby changing station in the bathrooms!

The waffles are amazing and reasonably priced. The inferior is also really cute with vintage and eclectic pieces and decor. The place is usually super busy so expect a long queue, unless you arrive 10 minutes before opening and start queueing early

Incredible place to have brunch on a sunny Sunday. Not that expensive and the food is super yummy. The staff is super nice and helpful. Be aware that you can’t make any reservations and you might have to wait 20-30min, but totally worth it !! ✨

It’s now one of my favorite places in town. Delicious pancakes, avocado toast is delicious and the latte is amazing and creamy. Service is super friendly, just a bit slow. Long waiting line but it’s worth it. Just be early and problem solved.

Very nice place for a brunch! Unfortunately it's impossible to book and you have to go queue in front of the place. But once you get in the atmosphere is amazing and the food is delicious! A lot of vegetarian option too! Definitely recommended :)

Great service, coffee and tasty breakfast options. The food looked beautiful. You could play with texture a bit more. We ordered asparagus eggs on a bun and everything was soft. Some crunchiness would make it more interesting;)

Cafe Krone used to be my favorite spot for breakfast, where I'd often bring friends to enjoy the food and atmosphere. But my recent visit left me feeling disheartened. In the past, I loved their Eggs Benedict for its deliciousness and affordability. However, the shock came when I saw the new price tag: 18 EUR. This was a significant increase that didn't match the portion size, which had somehow shrunk? I understand that businesses may need to adjust prices, but this felt like a steep and unjustified hike. It's really disappointing when a beloved cafe takes such a turn, and I'm not sure if I'll be returning anytime soon.
