This is how the intake appointment went (that I pay 85€ for): I waited for some time, after which the doctors assistant (who was very friendly) took some notes regarding the scars and treatment I had so far. She asked me to undress to take pictures. While standing there without shirt the doctor came in, didn't really greet me or acknowledged me as a human, looked at the scars from a distance and the whole 3 MINUTES that he was in the room he basically spent on communicating that the treatment is going to be "very expensive" and that there is no way of making it cheaper. I came there looking for help with the scars (that I feel quite self-conscious about), I had not mentioned anything regarding money. The doctor didn't take the time to really look at me or engage with me, he basically just told me that there are some treatment options, but that I probably can't afford them. I was too stunned to react to him in that moment, when he left I asked the assistant if he's always like this and she, smiling apologetically, suggested I ask for a different doctor next time. UPDATE April 2023: I switched doctors within the Dermatologikum. Frau Dr. Siemssen is friendly and professional, and I ended up quite satisfied with the treatment.

Always very quick during the appointment almost pushing you out the door claiming that there is a line waiting. Happened twice with our family. Feels like a money making operation and not a doctors office that is interested in the patients wellbeing. Last straw was the cancellation of an appointment via sms two hours before the appointment without a call or an offer to reschedule or see another doctor. UPDATE: and they have hired a shady lawyer to take down bad reviews. Tough to handle the truth.

I went to Dr. for an evaluation of LS. Rich and was explained again at reception that I had to pay €150 for the appointment because it was a private practice. Everything was okay, I was told on the phone and since not that many doctors are familiar with LS, it was worth it to me. No LS, no biopsy, but a fungal swab was taken. My reply that I already have at least 5 negative swabs at home was not taken into account at all. Zack was swabbed. I was not informed about the cost of €335 for a fungal swab. I would never have agreed to this otherwise. I was out of the treatment room in less than 10 minutes. Once and for me definitely never again. All in all, 10 minutes cost me €535 (€150 appointment + €50 cortisone + €335 for 1 (!!!) fungal examination - which was not the reason for my visit).

Very unreliable. Promises are not kept. I can't recommend it

Looks fancy, shiny place and you think it’s a professional clinic but it’s organized like a mess. I booked online with a professor but got checked by an assistant doctor before another random doctor came in just to approve what she had diagnosed. I had to inquire and found only out after asking 2 times that they supposedly changed my appointment in order to not let me wait. Also the treatments i got where done by either beginners or constantly changing nurses until I asked to be treated by one specific only. Cannot recommend this place and will not go there any longer.

Plastic and Aesthetic in Berlin? For sure, here. Dermatologikum - is the very old and experienced practice. You can get here expertise of Doctor Rainer Rupprecht, who can get You You advise and about Dermatology and about Aesthetic. Doctor Kristian Reich can make You the check about allergy and dermatology. Professor Uwe Trefzer will consult You about medical treatments.

The doctor only takes 10 minutes per patient, and that's in a private practice. The telephone is also constantly busy.

We booked a legal appointment on Doctolib. But they called us 10 days before the appointment and said that they only accept patients with private insurance. This is so meaningless. Why can you then make appointments at the legal appointment via the app?

Brazen, unpleasantly profit-oriented practice. I arrived 15 minutes late for the agreed appointment due to a public transport emergency through no fault of my own. Despite my explanations, I was uncompromisingly rejected at reception and sent away again (i.e. without the opportunity to wait for a later appointment). I didn't want a replacement appointment on another day because the unpleasant first experience was enough for me. Now an invoice arrived demanding a cancellation fee due to the “missed appointment”. Unique negative experience that I had never had before in healthcare.

Very good private praxis . But one of a sister was very rude and unpolite , other onws are very nice, and doktor also. We were there for my daughter's skin 2 yeras old ), they are private so they accept everyone but you need to pay. They accept as kids, as olders. We didn't wait for appointment so long.

Totally dissatisfied. At the reception they sounded racist, I think. They wanted my registration, even though they could look at everything in my insurance. As well as when filling out documents, I actually also write the address.... All of this means that if you are a foreigner, you absolutely have to have your registration with you and perhaps also have the confirmation of registration :)

the doctor was okay but the receptionist was incompetent and racist. As I was about to pay for the service, she assumed my name is Cheng just because I'm asian. Next time ask the patient name instead of profiling based on their race my goodness

You have to be very careful here. Every handshake (really every one!) that is made should be questioned about alternatives or the costs. I would have thought, for example, B. I could save additional expensive laboratory costs because a simple little skin cream was able to solve my problem very quickly.

Super friendly, humane, competent and no waiting times. I was at Dr. Agnes Richter and she always took time to explain and answer any questions I had, was compassionate, humble and truly interested in solving my issue however best possible. That is,most importantly they succeeded in removing my two deep warts (that three other dermatologists failed to do.)

I would like to specify that the receptionists mess up a lot (i.e. not passing you to correct doctor, timing, etc.) but there is one good doctor at Dermatologikum in Berlin, and that is Dr. Prof. Kämpgen. 5/10 would recommend him as a doctor for serious issues such as psoriasis or eczema. The first doctor told me that I had backne, but I told her that I was told that it could not be backne. When I requested to see Dr. Kämpgen, be confirmed that Backne was not the issue, but that it was indeed a different skin issue. I would say the clinic is good if you go to the good doctor. The only real problem is that they can’t help with treatment for the serious issues…

Amazing clinic. Their English was fluent which was important for me since I was visiting Germany. Clinic was so clean and modern looking. Huge space too. I came in due to a rash and met with Prof. Kämpgen. He was incredible. He was friendly, he listened, he was patient, and most importantly, he knew exactly what to do. He built a plan of attack and provided follow up actions. I really felt safe, heard, and helped.

The most incompetent employees!!!The only exception is Prof. Dr. Trefzer and Ms. Schiemann. They do great work every day! Staff at reception completely overwhelmed! Registration only if it suits the employees at their own discretion. Ignorance and the supposed entry of important things is more important than simply registering patients with an appointment. If you make yourself known you will be bullied and told to wait and register. My precious time is important to me and I'm too stupid to wait forever. Years ago it was better in practice. You could also reach someone on the phone straight away. Nowadays it's always just waiting. As a private patient who has been satisfied here for years and has recently noticed the loss of quality, I would rather invest my money in another practice with better and courteous service.

I usually don't write reviews but I was so impressed with the practice, I decided to write one. I went there in May for microneedling and only after one session I had really good results. The lady who performed the microneedling was very kind and professional. I felt really well during my visit and I am happy with my results.

Rude staff/terrible service. It honestly saddens and shocks me that an establishment meant to care for people would treat someone in such a way. I went there to get a check up and was made to feel like I was asking for charity. I was told that it was a private practice and that they couldn’t see me before even speaking to me. German is not my native language but rudeness and flippancy come across in any language. Would give it a negative 10 if possible

I have been a sufferer of Eczema my whole life. Originally from New Zealand and my husband and I are travelling around Europe. I was experiencing a flare up around my mouth, wrist and neck, which has been on and off for the last 2-3 years. Coming from New Zealand most doctors visits, resulted in antibiotics and different steroid creams for prevention, which always worked in the short term and Dermatologist consultations that lasted less than 5 minutes and provided me no help at all. I came in crying to the Dermatologikum Berlin as my eczema had become very extreme. Dr Uwe Trefzer, spent 20 minutes examining my eczema, providing me a thorough consultation, with a treatment plan and a long-term solution. I was also requested to come back for a follow up consultation after using a few creams, and then provided a maintenance plan for my eczema. I have never felt happier and more at peace knowing I have now found the correct help to prevent and manage future flare ups. By far the best help I have ever received. Thank you so much Dr Uwe. I highly recommend this dermatologist here in Berlin. I came all the way from New Zealand and have received the best care.

I had a clearly suspicious spot on my arm and went to Dermatologikum at the end of June for a biopsy and check up. I was refused a biopsy and was prescribed an anti-biotic cream. I was told that my spot was probably a wart that I scratched off! I went to another dermatologist in early August who gave me a biopsy and it turned out to be melanoma. Now I have to get surgery and a lymph node biopsy. This place should not be allowed to practice.

Beautiful practice. Great furnished. Nice service. Only the WiFi is very weak. Prof. Dr. Kämpgen was very good with my two children, who had different problems. Were given very good advice. Thank you.

Frau Dr. Siemssen actually cares about patients with adult acne. Highly recommended! I have struggled with acne for 15 years and she was the only professional to come up with a good treatment ♥️ She also speaks English and is super friendly!!

The skin cancer screening examination, under the direction of Prof. Dr. Trefzer, was extremely thorough and professional. The practice is very well organized, which made the entire process run smoothly. I am impressed by the comprehensive care and compassionate treatment during the examination. Thank you for the outstanding care and expertise. Kind regards, Tini,S

I always have the best experience with Enisa Durakovic for laser hair removal. She's extremely delicate, professional and cautious around me and the equipment. For a quite boring treatment, we always have a laugh!

Highly Recommended! Booked an appointment for the following day. Check-in unfortunately without a card reader (it would be quicker), but digitally with a tablet. The waiting area is inviting and the call for consultation hours is not a minute late. Ms. Siemssen was sensitive and her advice was top notch.

I went to the dermatologist because of a scar on my forehead. First I went to another doctor, Mr. Rupprecht, who wanted to improve my scar in two steps. After the first session I was thrilled! I've been to many doctors and none of them had a plan for what they were doing like he did. He had a certain surgical technique. Unfortunately he has moved, which is why I was forwarded to Ms Simsson. With the second operation she gave me another huge scar on my forehead. I had concerns about her before because she seemed very unfocused and constantly wanted to talk to me during the operation... quickly and sloppily... Thank you very much, it's only on the face! I felt like I was in very good hands with the other doctor! Choose your doctor carefully!

I recently went to Dr Dietrich with my father for skin cancer screening and surgery. It was a very friendly, empathetic and professionally competent treatment. We felt very well looked after and would be happy to come back at any time. Full praise! A doctor who not only treats competently, but also informs the patient at all times, takes them seriously and explains the individual steps transparently.
