I can only recommend the tour if you want to learn a lot about the history of the Berlin Wall in a short time of 3 hours. Thanks again to our tour guide.

I booked Berlin on Bike through the Berlin Welcome Card All Inclusive and attended the English guided tour on Tuesday 6th September at 10.30. (Can't remember tour guides name). We got an informative tour mainly around the hisrory of Berlin, Berlin Wall, got to see some good places as well, including German Parliament, Jewish memorial, Berlin Wall Memorial. It was a great was to see the city and learn more about the city.

As part of the Open Monument Day, a tour of the Kulturbrauerei in Prenzlauer Berg took place. The history of the brewery there and in Berlin would be conveyed in an entertaining and interesting way. You learned something about the architect Schwechten, about the forced laborers who were used, about the working conditions and finally something about the difference between white wine with syrup and without and without it will soon be tasted.

We had such a fun time doing this bike tour. Our tour guide Anna from Sweden knew everything about the history and it was so interesting to listen to. She did great and created an amazing atmosphere. My bike was very comfortable. I can highly recommend this organization!

Fabulous tour with Sascha this morning. Saw all the landmarks that one expects but the bonus was his personal perspective that really brought colour to the whole experience. Thank you so much for such an introduction to an extraordinary city.

I've rented a bike here several times (well, it wasn't exactly new - but everything worked). And again completely satisfied this time. My absolute plus point: the 24 hour rule! Use it in the evening too; I would need 2 days somewhere else. I had saddlebags with me myself. The existing basket was easily removed. Fast and uncomplicated booking on site (demand is probably not that strong at the beginning of March). I'm guaranteed to be a repeat offender 😍

Getting a chance to learn about the resilient, rich history of Berlin ... as well as it's context for Germany and the world stage at multiple critical moments in modern history... right before Day of Unity.. this was an excellent experience that has made my life richer. Anna from Sweden was an excellent guide and a treat to be with. Whatever your interests are, if you're visiting Berlin I highly recommend touring the city on Bike, perhaps earlier in your trip. This way you can get a feel for what's available and return to the places you are curious about. It's a wonderful way to quickly get to a know a city that has so much to offer, like Berlin.

So great we booked a second tour. First tour was a 3 hour Berlin tour with Peter. Second was a tour of Alternative Berlin with Thomas. Both tours gave us a great feel for the city and provided a ton of context we wouldn't have otherwise known. Highly recommend. Both of our guides were very knowledgeable, friendly, and always made sure we felt safe.

It was a very interesting tour. The tour guide (Bert) told me many facts about the history of the Wall that I didn't know. When some people had to wait for a red traffic light, he waited patiently until they could continue driving.

Super cool experience. We did the Berlin Wall And Cold War tour. Hired a trailer too for our 4 year old son. Felix was a brilliant guide; very knowledgeable but also himself clearly interested in the topic himself and provided an informed and thought provoking social history perspective of this awesome city. Cycling nice and easy too. Brilliant way to see a lot in a short space of time.

Forget the rest and go with the best! I take bike tours wherever I travel to so I think I can say with authority that the guys at Berlin on Bike work on a completely different level. Their operation works like a well-oiled machine- or I should say a well-oiled bike chain! 😉 They are housed in a beautiful old brewery building which is very cool. I did the City Tour with a super-entertaining guide, Andy. Berlin has SO much history and well, I think Andy knew it all! I know in a few hours you can only touch the surface but everything he did tell us was super interesting and enlightening for the whole group. Cycling around Berlin is a piece of cake. It is SO bike-friendly- one-way bike paths everywhere and they even have streets for bikes only. Incredible! All in all, an excellent way to spend a few hours, see more of Berlin than you could on foot, see all the main highlights as well as some hidden 'insiders' spots and get a great introduction into the complex history of the area. Highly recommended!

Really fun tour. George was a great guide and really knew the best bike routes. You should be a confident bicyclist for this tour because it really moves and Berlin is a super busy bike city. You'll share the paths with pedestrians, commuter cyclists, kids, and many bike lanes are on busy car/team streets. We did about 25 km distance when 15-20 km was listed, which was great, so only taken this tour if you want to do more cycling than stopping and listening to history or about the neighborhoods.

Wonderful tour with Peter, who is well versed on German history. He is also very pleasant, friendly and kind. The bikes are in great shape and the ride was easy with many breaks to stop and hear from Peter along the way. We are so glad we did this tour on our first full day in Berlin so we know better what we want to see in more depth. Highly recommend this tour.

I booked a private tour for a happy group that celebrated a 50 -year old, that holds tremendous love for the city of Berlin. The service from all members of the charming staff was friendly and superb. The bikes were just excellent, in top condition. Helmets, sunscreen, locks, bungy chords and tissues - all included for the group! Water provided! Yes! Great - since we were riding in yet another heat wave. I want to thank you from the whole more - then - content - group, the tour was greatly appreciated . During the tour, we took time for drink stops and games. The guide happily covered Highlights, the alternative culture and Cold war history of Berlin. Since we took the tour on the 13/8 - it meant it was exactly 61 years ago the Berlin wall era began. This was commemorated with flowers on all The wall memorials around the city. This made a special impression. We also visited nightlife hot spots and saw tons of spectacular street art. Berlin on bike? Simply the Best bike-tour company in Berlin! Perfect for renting bikes, as well. Thank you, beloved BoB! We recommend everyone to book a tour!

We had the pleasure of Peter from Liverpool showing us a fantastic range of sites (and sights!). Knowledgeable, funny and setting an even pace for all cyclists. Sneaky spots revealed on the way and there’s an ice cream/ coffee stop thrown in too! Top tips; 1. If you arrive on time, you’re officially late. You need to arrive at least 15 mins earlier than your time to set up the bike, helmet and WC stop. 2. Wear glasses - a fly in the eye at 20mph is not funny (unless it happens to Peter and then it’s hilarious 🤣) 3. Accept that the Highlights Tour will include some dark history items - Fredrick the Great had a very interesting start to life! 4. If you’re a competent cyclist, please volunteer to be the HVA at the back (wear the orange tabard!) 5. If you only laugh once a year and have a face that looks like a bulldog licking urine off a nettle…this will be far too much fun! 5* from us and be warned - you need to be able to ride a bike…sounds obvious but apparently people do show up that cannot rise a bike 🤯🤯🤯

Not all the things listed on the site as part of the tour were covered. I was also disappointed that we didn't stop at Checkpoint Charlie to take pictures. The café we stopped at for a break was quite poor, but overall it was a good introduction to Berlin.

We had a great time seeing everything on the tour! Our guide, Julien, did a fantastic job, and had answers ready for all our questions, even the ones that were off-script! I think my only critique of the whole thing would be that the gigantic, squishy saddles were not my favourite, and were really not doing it for my seat and lower back! The gear hub on my bike was also struggling to get into first gear, so climbs were slightly challenging, but as it was a pretty short ride, it wasn’t too much of a stressor! All in all, a great time. :) Definitely recommend, and very well worth it!

I have just spent four days in Berlin and, by far, my bike tour with Frey at Berlin on Bike was the most enjoyable activity I did. We covered a lot of distance and got to see many parts of the wall. Frey stopped frequently to explain the significance of that particular part of the wall. I found his narrative really interesting with information going beyond the standard story often told. I thoroughly recommend you did this tour with Frey while in Berlin.

We had a terrific tour of Berlin Highlights today by Paul, a British fellow. He had researched the history of the Berlin Wall extensively and shared his knowledge with us in such an interesting manner. I enjoyed a bike tour with Berlin on Bike in 2010. This yy, I wanted to show my husband Berlin on Bike. We chose the English speaking tour, because the start time worked better for us. It worked out great. The guide would have been equally comfortable in English or German. What a fun way to get to know a great city! Bring your own bike and/helmet or rent them. Flexible, nice people!

Easy to get to from the subway. Very friendly and helpful reception. No waiting time. Initial differences about the modalities of return and ID deposit were immediately resolved after I pointed out the information on the internet. The bike was very good and my initial fears of getting a flat tire because of the broken glass lying around on the roads were allayed by the apparently good tires. Overall, a highly recommended way to get to know Berlin!
