they really do served you well here. complimentary breads at the start and some tea and dessert at the end! live music is so nice, we felt really entertained and happy to be there. they do charge 10% surcharge and their prices are quite high compared to the other restaurants nearby.

Wow, wow, wow! Brought my small group of ladies to Resto Han for the first time, and we all had a fabulous time with the live music! The singer was excellent, he was singing it English, Turkish and Spanish. The foods were delicious, they were able to accommodate two ladies with strict gluten free diet. We had so much fun dancing as well! Thank you to the owner Metin for taking our reservation and your staffs for taking great care of my guests!!

Resto Han provided one of the best dinner experiences we had in Istanbul. Our waiter Sherif was wonderful; very kind and attentive. The entire team is great though, and create a really positive environment. They also had lovely live music that split between English and Turkish songs. All the food we had was good as well; not the best we had but worth is for the price and experience.

We had good fun here. The servers had great vibes and even gave us complimentary turkish tea! I recommend their dessert Katmer — soo good. The Testi Kebab was a bit salty and the flavor didn’t cook through the lamb. For the Canadians reading this review, I think this chain restaurant is like Earl or a nicer White Spot. You should expect prices around that same range

You will not be disappointed at this restaurant. The place is beautifully decorated with a very cozy ambiance. In this busy city and touristic area, it's not easy to find a place that assures you comfort, quality and fair pricing. On top of that, their food is amazing! Don't miss the chicken kebab -- one of the best we have had! We have also tried their Shisha and the experience is unbeatable! The staff are also very nice and attentive. We have been here 3 times in a week and we couldn't be more satisfied! For a musical chill night, there's an amazing live music performance by Sinan :)

The restaurant has it all: delicious food, well done cocktail, amazing atmosphere, attendive and friendly staff, live music, good prices. The team welcomed us really nicely, we've enjoyed every minute here! This restaurant is conveniently located amidst a multitude of hotels with friendly staff and an excellent menu of traditional items to choose from consisting of starters to desserts. An amuse bouche and Turkish tea with baklava is provided on the house. There is also a local musician during dinner which adds to the ambiance.

We visited Resto Han for dinner and enjoyed the share Ottoman grill platter so much. The experience overall was wonderful, BUT at the end of the meal we ask to take away the rest of the platter with us (as the portion was VERY generous). The staff packed the take away for us, when we came home take away only contained a few meat pieces and none of the sides or vegetables we had remaining (we had almost half of the dish unfinished, where did that go?!). The platter in the restaurant was very delicious and it is a pity the staff just selected a bare minimum for our dish to pack. It is a pity as the restaurant had good quality traditional food and even complimentary tea+sweet at the end.

Food: 10/10. Average price: 13€ (kebab dish + Coca Cola). Would return? Yes. I ordered a shish chicken kebab and it was really good. I would definitely repeat if I’m nearby. They serve you complimentary bread (I think it’s bazlama) before your order, which come with a white and spicy sauce. They also served us complimentary baklava and Turkish tea when they brought us the check. The hospitality in this restaurant has been amazing. Great service, atmosphere (they have sofas) and food. Truly an amazing experience. I greatly recommend coming here and encourage every restaurant to take this service as an example.

The food and the service is amazing. We truly enjoyed our meals. We ordered Adnan kebab and beef with special hummus. Both dishes were so well flavoured. The house wine and local Turkish beer was also quite easy and light to complete the meal. The manager, Assad recommended us to have the Katmer dessert. So happy for the recommendation.

The service and atmosphere were great. Islam was very attentive and gave us excellent recommendations. I had chicken shish kebab and my friend had a room temperature dish with yogurt and lamb that I can’t remember the name of. I thought Resto Han was pretty good, but the reason I’m rating this restaurant so highly is because my friend ascended to another plane of existence while eating here. She got more delirious with happiness with each bite she took, and we didn’t even have any alcohol. I now have a series of pictures of her eating her way through heaven lol.

Looking at the review of this place we decided to try it. They have a good and friendly team, the host of the restaurant was from Afghanistan and he can say hello in various languages, which was a nice touch. We ordered the grilled chicken, grilled shrimps, smashed eggplant, and a pomegranate salad which were all delicious. A bonus point for them is that they have rice, which made my asian appetite very happy.

Right in the centre of Serkeci, in front of Double Tree hotel. Spacious venue with wide selection of local specialties. The guys can perform an intriguing show while preparing grilled food yet have to learn a lot about serving the wine.

If you feel hungry near old town tourist spot, don’t hesitate to have a meal in this restaurant. The food is decent and the chef Kado is very friendly. This restaurant is across the street of Doubletree by Hilton where we stay, so we just walked in and it certainly exceeded our expectations. Great food, attentive service, amiable atmosphere and nice music! I recommend it to all the travelers who want to have a good time in Istanbul!

The service was fantastic. My server’s name was Furkan. For English speakers it was very comfortable for my first night in Istanbul. The food was fantastic. There are many servers to attend to me. There is also fun live musician and folks sang along. highly recommend.

Fantastic food and atmosphere, only ten minutes walk from the Blue Mosque. Ordered the Sultan platter (enough to feed at least 6 people by the way!). Islam and the rest of the staff were extremely friendly, lively and offered us Turkish tea and baklava on the house to top off a lovely evening. Very talented live musician too and a dance from the staff to top off the evening - one of the best dining experiences in Istanbul so far!

Had the Mediterranean salad and haydari, both were amazing! The atmosphere is great, wasn’t too crowded but also not empty and the waiters were accommodating. Recommend getting a bite to eat if you’re in the neighborhood.

I'm sorry to say but the food wasn't as good as expected. Vegetable casserole is tiny, barely anything to eat and nothing like the pictures in the menu. Butcher meatballs were so-so, but the bulgur garnish wasn't good at all so I just left it barely touched. Service is excellent. The giant screen with ads non stop was very disturbing.

What a place! It’s difficult to find such a caring and nice place in Sultanahmet. Big shout out to Resto Han and its staff, Oguz in particular, the service was excellent, they take care of you from A to Z, the restaurant and the ambience is really pretty, and the food is 10/10! I highly recommend this restaurant. The food is great and the customer service is AMAZING! My grandmother cannot chew very well. This place is GREAT! Best food we had here, very friendly and capable staff, and a pleasant atmosphere with live Turkish musicians that come through. A lot of places here seem to have fake reviews, as we are at some very highly rated places that were just alright or just plain bad, so we came back here a second time.

I was there today with my family and we have been warmly welcomed by the waiters and throughout our stay pampered and comforted. They took good care of us and especially of our little kids, 2 and 5 years old. The food was so amazing and delicious. Don’t miss to order the piccolo mushrooms as starter. The taste of them is unbelievably good. This is going to be one of my favorite spots in Istanbul. Btw. they don’t let you just pay and go, no, you get tea and amazing baklava served for free.

Our family of 6 absolutely loved our cozy dinner! From the live music, comfortable seating, fun atmosphere and delicious food, it was perfect! We ordered quite a bit and loved everything we ordered! We also loved the mint lemonade and mezza mix plate for our starter. At the end of the meal, they served everyone tea, kids had pomegranate and orange tea, all delicious-with a delicious piece of baklava for each person! Would recommend to anyone!

Really nice restaurant and went there two nights during our stay in Istanbul… Sea bream and bass were fresh - would definitely recommend any fish dishes 😄 The hospitality was amazing because if you don’t know what to eat in Istanbul, their complimentary starter and dessert would show you a taste of Turkey.
