The taste was very nice but not Wow! I have been told that this restaurant is the best in Istanbul, but I was disappointed. Starting from the service: You will feel like your are representing money, nothing else! The waiters never smiled! The food: The food was poorly served, the meat served in a big bowl! Imagine that we were five persons, we ordered each one different type of meat. We have got them all mixed in a bowl. Then we had to collect our ordered meat from that bowel! All other restaurants in Istanbul they serve their food with side or appetizers dishes, at least a small portion of salads, except this restaurant! You need to ordered the appetizers or the salad. The prices are a bit more than the normal prices in Istanbul but the experience is not deserving that much. Many many other restaurants in Istanbul are better than this one.

When we arrived there was a long queue of people waiting for the table so I was pleasantly surprised when we didn't have to wait too long for our table, maybe 20 minutes. The restaurant is definitely noisy, I didn't really mind it but some people might. The meat we ordered is the best we've had in Istanbul and salads were also pretty good. Everything on the picture costs 800tl (50.5$).

Most tasty kebab and cutlet I ate in my whole life in here. Cooking degree of meats are excellent. Prices may be a bit pricey but worth it. Staff is nice and inviting too. Only worst thingis that they used to offer free tea after your meal but now they want to keep the circulation coz it's no more

The first sign how good this restaurant would be was the long queue when we arrived. The place was full but the staff members worked highly efficient and attentive. It’s not a place where you can set & chill after the food due to high numbers of customers. The food experience was somehow raw and therefore fantastic. They have a simple limited menu with high quality meat products. It was on of my best grilled food experiences. They don’t alter the taste with unnecessary spices or fancy side dishes, all you get is a simple salad. The food was grilled almost to perfection with mild rosa finish inside. We tried grilled meat cubes, kebab and boneless rib meat. All of them were among the best I’ve ever tasted.

Highly recommended.Very delicious, they have many kinds of meat, all are perfect the meat and steak are good juicy not too dry and tender. The prices are good. The place is super crowded no reservations in weekends. You have to stand in lines but they have a quick services and the staff are very helpful and friendly.

On first impressions… it was a busy place and we waited in a que outside. Now this was my 4th time in Istanbul and the bar had been set reasonably high in terms of food. Let me tell you… Baran is absolutely amazing, I have never tasted such delicious, smoked and BBQ tender meat in my life. WOW is the way to describe the food. No exaggeration at all. The service was quick and it was our first night after arriving from the UK. Our best friend took us there to eat and OH MY GOD was it delightful (Masha’Allah) I couldn’t get enough of this buttery rich meat that was so so soft and easy to devour and eat. For me to date I can not think of a place that serves better meat? If you are contemplating going… stop now and go and try it. So the baklava is also the best you will have. Its phenomenal.

This place specialises in meat. They offer a wide variety of meat plates and appetisers. I ordered one meat skewer and one kebab skewer. The meat was nice and juicy but a bit salty, as for the meat kebab it was tasty and rich in flavor but had too much fat in it. Overall the experience was good and I would recommend it for meat lovers. Price wise i got 2 skweres and one appetiser for 300 tl. For the porsions it's somehow acceptable. The atmosphere is a bit common and not too fancy.

Man this place! Best bbq place in town. Meat is tender and well seasoned and it's so delicious. It's a must try. It's mostly busy so you have to wait for a table.

A great experience, from the massive (but fast-moving) queue, to the equally fast-moving service, and great grilled meat and salads. Very reasonable prices, and high-quality lamb. We had smoked lamb shanks, falling off the bone. No drinks beyond the traditional yoghurt drink and water, but everything was super fresh.

Seriously the best meat I have ever had! The lamb rib is my favorite but just about everything is super delicious and tender. Truly worth traveling there just for the foods! Don’t speak much English but can communicate.

I tasted only Zırh kebab and it was amazing. The meat was super tender, juicy and rich flavored. The prices were reasonable, considering the quality of the food when i went there on january 2024. The service was good, workers were friendly. Would come back here.

Don’t waste time searching for the best kebab and other meat cuts, just go there and try it. Recommend to drink their Ayran 👌🏼. Literally the best in town and the prices are so good. Just keep in mind that you will queue a bit however it’s fast.
