Something is fishy about the latest reviews. I stayed at Titanic Hotel at Taksim for 10 days / 9 nights. Here is why its bad and should be avoided: 1- The reception staff is very rude. They curse/make fun of the customers in Turkish thinking they don't understand. Especially the Arabs. 2- we're supposed to have a complimentary coffee/tea and water daily which you'll get only at the first day, they missed it for 9 consecutive days despite our daily calls. 3- rooms are very dim and lighting is very bad. 4- super overpriced breakfast which is very limited. We were late once 10 minutes yet instead of politely saying we can't have breakfast the staff shouted at us and threw us out of the hall despite some people having breakfast inside the hall. 5- sheets/towels are almost never cleaned. 6- staff in general are super rude and talk to you as if you are begging them for money. 7- Go for other options in Taksim which are cheaper and give you the same services or even better. UPDATE: I was contacted by guest relations regarding this review, and I was offered a free upgrade to my room if I ever book again in the future. However they are insisting to delete the review and also contacted the travel agent who I booked with to ask me to delete the review.

I booked superior room for 7 nights. At first day I was given small single bed room because they simply gave my reserved room to someone else without any clarification or even saying sorry. On the next day they replaced the room with another small one. Bad service. Rude house keeping. 3 elevators serving 11 floors. I used to wait 10 minutes to get an elevator.

Clean rooms with nice beds and bathrooms. The main issue is that the mini-fridge is stocked with overpriced drinks. When I asked for them to be removed I was told only the alcoholic drinks were removed. Either provide an option to lock this fridge or a spare fridge to store drinks and foods in. Or a better option is not to be concerned about the profit on these items but remove them should the customer request it. Ruined the experience of the hotel. The breakfast was too expensive so I didn't book it.

The hotel has the capacity to be much better. but it seems the owners don't intend to give the guests the feeling of being welcome. the so-called "superior room" didn't match the pictures offered on the site. during our 4 days stay we were given just one bottle of water and 4 paper cups. and unlike even 3-star hotels it wasn't offered out of charge the other days. No glasses or cups in the room to be used. and it didn't have the stuff you usually see in the bathrooms like cotton pad or shower cap ..... the staff wasn't helpful and even didn't bother to come up when we had key problem.

Rooms great location great. Service here is terrible. Everyone is so rude. Especially the receptionists. They refuse to solve your problems and give extremely stupid suggestions as a 'solution'. We had a heating problem in our room and they rudely informed us that they cannot do anything about it and we should just open the window. Our room was located next to another building so there was no air circulation. And opening the window was too loud since the Taksim area is pretty busy. We had not slept for 2 nights before we decided to complain directly to the manager and got our room changed.

Good and modern hotel, and with ac rooms having large tv, and wc with modern fixtures. Located close to lively Taksim square and the sea front not far. However, few non customer policies like room tea coffee supplies only on the day of arrival and no change of towels daily. The breakfast is very good with good variety. Overall, comfortable stay here.

    - There is a light in the bathroom that cannot be turned off and since there are windows within the wall separating bathroom and bedroom it severely impaired my sleep. - I booked a room (without breakfast) for a week and was gonna have my partner stay with me for 2 nights. Since the rooms cost the same for 1 vs 2 people I made the booking for 1 guest and assumed this was not gonna be a problem. However they charge 20€ per night if you add a guest. - I was really looking forward to the whirlpool, but it was closed without notice for multiple days during our stay. - The room I was in first had a loud buzzing noise outside the window. When I told the hotel personnel, the immediately offered me a different room (it had the same light issue though). - Location is great

We stayed for 5days, very good clean hotel. Family friendly, staff are very very courteous. Easy access to metro and just 5mins walk to Taksim square/Istiklal street. Room was kept clean and made up everyday with sufficient toiletries. Breakfast was bit boring, else all great. Highly recommend 👍

My husband and I stayed here with our 1 year old and really enjoyed it. It was very peaceful and quiet. The walk to the main area was very walkable with a stroller. I would also take advantage of their spa services and get the Hamam. It’s a must! The masseuse was so professional and very experienced. I also want to point out the professionalism of the staff and cleaning services. Everyone was accommodating and very friendly, especially to our little one.

Good place for tourist. Reasonable price but most of the we see fully booked. We 5 people got only 2 days reservation we did 3 weeks on advance, but they did not give us more nights as they were fully booked. We paid around $60 per person with breakfast.

I visited the Hotel, 2 weeks ago and It wasn't my first trip to Istanbul but it was my first at Titanic City Taksim. First I had a bad impression but after my experience, I will choose this hotel again and again. First It is top location, close to Taksim Square, perfect if you want to use the airport buses, Sabiha or Istanbul airport, the stations are too close so you don't have to spend a big amount for airport taxis. The rooms are big and clean and you can find good amenities. The service is very good; When I had a complaint, they made sure to come to discuss it with me , especially Mariam, so kind and a very good listener and she explained the hotel point of view and took notes about mine. At the end she was very nice and sent us a piece of cake with wine to the room, an act of appreciation. The staff is very cheerful, smiling welcoming... Definitely, I will go back!!

My stay at the Titanic City Taksim was fantastic. I stayed there one week. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. I was also very pleasantly surprised by the service, cleanliness, the room and breakfast. The location of the hotel is perfect, you can get everywhere very well from here. The public transportation, as well as the famous boulevard "İstiklal Caddesi" are within walking distance. There are many restaurants, bars and cafes near the hotel. I would like to thank you again for everything, teşekkürler!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Titanic city Taksim Istanbul, and I must say that it was an outstanding experience. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm welcome I received from the hotel staff. During my week-long stay, I had the pleasure of interacting with one particular staff member named Mariam, who was incredibly helpful and attentive. Mariam went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable, providing recommendations for local attractions and restaurants and helping me with any questions I had. The hotel itself was beautiful, with modern amenities and stylish décor that made for a comfortable and enjoyable. One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious breakfast buffet that was served every morning. There was a wide selection of food available, including traditional Turkish dishes as well as more familiar western options. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul. The service was exceptional, and Mariam was a fantastic representative of the hotel's commitment to excellence. I can't wait to come back and stay here again in the future

This hotel is in great location. Walking distance to great shopping area and restaurants. Just a few blocks from Taksim Square and Istiklal Street. Our room was very comfortable and cleaned every day. Their breakfast is very good with a lot of choices. All staff are very nice and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Everything was great. It is close to Taksim square . The reception is very respectful. When we arrive to the hotel it was early to make check in. But because of my situation of my leg they provide me room earlier then 2pm. Breakfast is delicious. Everything is great

Everything was pretty good, but the staff doesn't speak good English (pretty common in Istanbul, though). Also, the fact that breakfast is a buffet but you can't serve yourself is a bit frustrating. I understand that this is due to food hygiene reasons, but still...

Clean and good food but security is a big issue. Someone stole $300 from our room in the 2 hr period we forgot to carry a bag with us. One time someone tried to enter our room but it was locked from inside

The hotel was truly exceptional, boasting a fantastic location, generously sized rooms, and impeccable service at the reception desk. The array of amenities was commendable. However, I do have some feedback regarding the Spa service. While the spa itself was lovely, featuring a small pool, hammam, and saunas, there are areas for potential enhancement in their service. Firstly, they required guests to wear swimming caps upon entering the pool, despite it being a tiny pool hardly suited for serious swimming. Moreover, they charged $4 for a cap, a price significantly higher than the simple ones available online for just $1, which was rather frustrating and raised questions about the hotel's pricing policies. Additionally, the spa officially closed at 10:00 PM each evening, but at precisely 9:45 PM, the manager requested everyone to vacate the premises for cleaning purposes. For guests who selected the hotel partly for its spa amenities and the opportunity to unwind in the evening after a long day out, these 15 minutes did indeed impact the overall experience. Furthermore, the relaxation room consistently lacked water in the water can, which was disappointing. Despite these spa-related concerns, I am still awarding a 5-star rating primarily due to the exceptional service provided by the reception staff. I hope that the hotel management considers these points and seeks to improve the spa service for future guests.

I had a good stay at the Titanic City Hotel in Istanbul. The hotel is conveniently located near Taksim Square and the metro station. The reception staff was courteous and flexible, and they gave us a room with a better view. The room was modern and comfortable, with a small TV, wooden floors and a seating area. It had a minibar, a kettle, and free water bottles every day. The breakfast offered a variety of options, such as salads, eggs, cheese, ham, and fruit. I recommend the Titanic City Hotel in Istanbul for its location and tranquility.

Breakfast: the breakfast in the hotel was amazing and there was a very large variety of food to choose from. They had different types of bread, cereal, fruit vegetables, fruit juice, tea or cofee, etc. We really enjoyed our breakfast. Location: the location of the hotel was good. There was a 5-minute walk to the Taksim street. At night, there was no noise and we weren't disturbed. Staff: the staff were very kind and gentle, but their English was very poor and they sometimes struggled to communicate; they did their best. Room: when we arrived, the room was exactly like the picture. It was clean and ready for us. We didn't use any of the room service options. The beds were comfortable. There was also a sofa and chair which was great. The room got cleaned every morning.

I recently had the unfortunate opportunity to stay at Titanic City Taksim, and I must say it was an incredibly disappointing experience. From the moment we arrived, the service providers were incredibly rude and unhelpful, leaving a sour taste in our mouths right from the start. One of the major issues we encountered was the fact that we were assigned a room that did not suit our needs, despite arriving early and mentioning our requirements in advance. It was quite frustrating to find ourselves in a room that didn't meet our expectations, especially considering we had taken the effort to communicate our preferences beforehand. This lack of attention to detail and disregard for guest requests was truly disheartening. To make matters worse, our previous experience with the hotel was equally terrible due to the hotel's lack of transparency and their handling of our special circumstances. We expected better communication and assistance, particularly in a situation where our needs were not being adequately addressed. Unfortunately, the hotel failed to meet even the most basic standards of customer service. Another disappointment was the hotel's pool, which was not in working condition during our stay. Although we did not mention this issue prior to checking in, one would expect the hotel to ensure that all amenities, especially ones advertised prominently, are in proper working order. It was a letdown to discover that the pool was unusable, and it further added to the overall negative experience. Moreover, the surrounding area of the hotel felt threatening and was filled with disturbing individuals. This created a sense of unease and discomfort, making our stay even more unpleasant. Safety and security are paramount for any hotel, and it was disconcerting to find the immediate surroundings in such a state. In conclusion, my experience at Titanic City Taksim was far from satisfactory. The rude service providers, the disregard for our room preferences, the hotel's opacity in dealing with our special circumstances, the non-functional pool, and the unsettling atmosphere in the area all contributed to an unpleasant stay. I would strongly advise considering other accommodation options if you're looking for a pleasant and hassle-free experience in Istanbul.

Loved it! It was a wonderful long weekend stay and we definitely made the right choice on choosing this hotel. Rooms are clean, beds are very comfortable and big enough, room service is very quick and the food was tasty - we had breakfast in bed and it was huge and very tasty! The personnel is very friendly and helpful. We went to spa almost every day and I can highly recommend the hamam treatment and massage. The location of the hotel is very convenient, you're not far from all kind of restaurants, shopping street etc and it's only 17 min walking to the Bosporus. If i come back ho Istanbul, I know which hotel it is going to be )))

Stayed there for a week in a family vacation. Nice place to stay especially for a tourist. Front desk staff speaks English but can't say the same for the rest😊. Rooms are fine since we were all out for the whole day until 10 or 11 night 🌙 and left in the morning. Breakfast is good and very friendly staff. It's a place you can stay in with kids.

Everything was amazing! We really enjoyed our stay here. The service was perfect, Esra was so nice and the rest of the workers at the reception. We went in very early but they gave us our rooms even though check-in is at 2 pm. The breakfast and the rooms were amazing. Totally recommended.

Horun at the reception allowed us to check out later than normal. He was very kind and made us feel welcomed. The hotel was also sweet enough to receive a package for us from Cappadocia, I left some clothes there 🤦🏻‍♀️ but now have them all back. The hotel is clean and very nice inside. Highly recommend staying here if you’re in Istanbul.

  • 5/5 Roshan K. 1 year ago on Google
Horun did a great job checking us in at reception. We only had 1 night here but had a great stay. The staff went above and beyond. We even left clothes at another hotel in Cappadocia and this hotel received it for us! Wonderful hotel. The deluxe room is quite nice and at a good price too 👍

I stayed in this fantastic hotel for four nights. That was the best hotel I visited; it was near Taksim Square, the room was big enough, and the breakfast was excellent. The guest relations supervisor's number 8 was perfect. She helped us very well in finding our way everywhere. I suggest this hotel 100 per cent to everyone

Excellent location: close to Taksim square, istiklal street (shopping area), and metro which you can use to get around the main touristic locations around İstanbul. Rooms are neat and comfortable. Service is excellent. Breakfast has a great variety. The people that work there can communicate easily in English and are knowledgeable. They are friendly and guided us during our visit.

“a perfect example of Turkish hospitality”. We stayed in the Titanic hotel for a 3 night stay and would very much recommend this to other people. The staff is very friendly and speak English very well. The rooms are nice and are kept very clean. Breakfast service is excellent with a wide array of breads, cereals and other foods. Down floor there is a spa with pool in which you can book massages so no need to go to other hotels. The hotel itself is situated in nice neighborhood full of restaurants, shisa lounges and small shops. Taksim square is a 5 minutes walk out and from there you have access to the whole city. This hotel definitely deserves a 5 star recommendation, especially for the good price/quality ratio.

The hotel is nice the location is good. Rooms are clean. They were very nice to upgrade the room when I didn't like the room given for me at check in. Loved the second room. However there was an issue with the AC and when I told them they insisted it was OK. I fixed the problem by myself. They didn't even ask if it was fixed or not. plus many of the staff don't speak english which is not really acceptable in a touristic hotel.

The staff were professional and polite. The cleaning lady was very kind and daily room service was great. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. It is really a 4 star hotel except the room light which wasn't suitable and there were no toothpaste and toothbrushes in the bathroom.
