Sishane is a gorgeous metro station with lots of connection options to other parts of Istanbul. The metro and in general the public transport in Istanbul is arranged very well. Just buy an Istanbul card, charge it with money and you are good to go!

Packed with everything that Istanbul is and stands for. Vibrant and busy and full of character and charm. The sheer choice of places to go and things to see seems endless.

Great place. Adjoining the Istiklal Street. Do take a ride on the heritage tram and the old tunnel.

Handy and scenic station on M2 line. 🚇 You can easily access Galata Tower thru Sishane exit. 🏰🚉 The benches on the set allow for relaxation with panaromic Halic view on sunny days. ☀️ You can also access Istiklal Caddesi and Pera from this station. There operates the nostalgic tram. 🚋 Another option would be to jump on the tunnel to go down to Karakoy district. 🚟

It wasn’t much busy and it’s very cheap too but it was very dirty look like for many years no one even bother to clean this station it’s not nice. Outside Istanbul itself is a very clean city but not this station not much written in English or there is no Istanbul card mechine outside have to go all the way

One of the best and more touristic neighborhoods in Istanbul. Many shops and Turkish fast food.

Not tourist friendly, Turkish card was difficult to get, no instructions in English, even cops don't help you in direction

For long a district known only for its lighting shops and rather grimy traffic, but now rapidly being transformed, with some of the most handsome of the fin-de-siècle buildings and incredibly accessible thanks to the new metro station. Few know the origin of the name, the 6th (Şeş in old Turkish, now only used in backgammon) Office, in other words the municipality headquarters of the 6th arrondissement, Istanbul’s first modern municipality.

Beautiful neighbourhood. Full of character. It is hilly, so take that into account. Full of nice shops, cafes and restaurants.

Always crowded but always smoothly operational. Well maintained and on a good location. Just a few steps left if you want to go to Galata from here.
