Pakshi Hardinge Bridge is a bridge built between Pakshi in Ishwardi Upazila of Pabna and Padma river in Bheramara Upazila of Kushtia. It was inaugurated on 4 March 1915 by the then Viceroy Lord Hardinge. The bridge was named Hardinge’s Bridge after him. The British government planned to build a railway bridge over the Padma River in 189 years, 127 years ago, to increase rail connectivity in the Indian subcontinent. In particular, Darjeeling in India and the eastern Indian state of Assam to facilitate travel to the present-day Kushtia and Pabna districts of Bangladesh began the process of building bridges over the Padma River.

I like to visit all the attractive place of Paksey very much. Sometimes i walk through the bank of Padma river. Fisherman catches fish by using their net. Many fishing boats are available there.

In a word, a wonderful place. We went for a walk on Friday and walked all day and made it back. What is there to see? Hardinge Bridge, Lalon Shah Bridge, Ruppur German Power Station, Padma Par are these. It is a place to visit on holidays.

Attractive place for the travellers.Besides its a pride for the people of Pabna .Because Harding Bridge is one of the biggest Railway Bridge in our country which was maked by the British rulers long time ago. But its a symbol of modern structure.No one can tell it it was maked a long time ago.Its structure and used materials are as like as new one.We all know that The Padma is one of the streamy River in our country. But The Harding Bridge stands on the river from the long time. The Padma's water failed to make harm to the Bridge.So, its a great symbol of modern structure and also pride for the people of Pabna.To see the structure of the Bridge a lot of people come here everyday from all over the Bangladesh.

Place is beautiful but the food quality is here not well. Very bad experience gather.
