Hill Hook Nature Reserve

Park Nature preserve

👍👍 Beautiful little nature reserve, hidden away within a housing estate. Plenty of wildlife and snowdrops starting to come up. I went today as there was an event on to help build Bird Boxes for the reserve, definitely worth a visit. People often mention walk, nice,

Lovely little nature reserve. The odd piece of dog mess here and there. 5 stars if dog owners cleaned up afterwards...

I have found this little place on my way home from work! My dogs have thoroughly enjoyed it there! I was lucky my Springer didn't jump in the duck pond! Beautiful sea of bluebells! Who knew they had such a lovely smell! Would love it more if it were a bit bigger!

Great wee place for a wander with the kids. Feed the ducks, splash down the stream and hunt for bird boxes!

Great place to get some post Christmas fresh air. Paths little muddy but to be expected given the weather. Lots of ducks, swans and gulls to feed. A popular green oasis.

A very pleasant walk that is nice and relaxing. You can walk through the woods or follow the path around the lake. Peaceful and serene with beaches overlooking the lake.

A nice little nature reserve. A small pathway around the edge (not suitable for a stroller). But there is a main path too where you can feed the ducks.

Great place to take a quick walk and enjoy some bird watching. There’s some small paths all around the pool into the trees and it can be quite muddy if it has rained recently so usually opt to wear boots. A loop around both sides of the pool takes about 30 minutes at a leisurely pace as it’s quite small. There are a few benches to sit poolside but no amenities.

Small, but very well shaded with a stream. Ideal for a visit with a dog on a hot day

Went to feed the ducks and these two very friendly tame geese came right up to me, even took bread out of my hand and stood right in front of me, pretty awsome when your so close to nature! Wicked place

A scenic walk along trails and around a lake. Plenty of birds to see on the lake.
