A friend of mine was refused check in by a male at reception even though she spoke with a lady on reception previously who allowed her to leave her bag (she arrived before the check in time), she was unable to show evidence of her stay as her phone had died and she was refused entry. She was left to her own devices ALONE and with no phone battery on the streets of Birmingham until 8.30am when the train station opened. Would not recommend!!!!

A friend of mine had arrived before check in time and was told by a female staff member that it was okay to check in when she next arrived. My friend arrived later on and was refused to stay despite her bags being at the hotel because she didn't pay. Despite having proof of which she did. Her phone battery had died and since she couldn't show this male that she had payed he left a 24 year old woman ALONE! to walk around Birmingham till the train station opened at 8.30. She was left no where to stay. No battery to phone anyone because they didn't let her sit and charge her phone. Anything could have happened to her. Would not recommend on a night out. This is disgraceful

Came over here for a business trip and really loved the location. It’s just 2 minutes from the new street railway station and having all kinds of restaurants nearby in walking distance..!!! The rooms are bit small and there’s no room service available..u need to go to reception if u need something…But overall it was nice. The staff is really nice and friendly and welcoming..specially Eliza…Loved to had a chat with her. Big thumbs up to here..!!!

First room was far too warm but the lady on reception called Neli was quick to change our room over. After stopping here on at least 6 other occasions this was the first issue we've ever had. Highly recommend for a night's stay. Staff are all really friendly. Rooms clean and quiet.

Air-Con didn’t work and room was immediately changed, lovely clean bedding and room was very clean. Staff were brilliant as well as helpful and Nellie deserves a pay rise with her Grade-A hospitality. Great room for a decent price and will definitely be coming back!!

The hotel staff were absolutely amazing. Super friendly especially Nellie who definitely deserves a pay rise . When our heating in the room wasn’t working we were moved room . Very simple no fuss . And one of the staff gave me some balloons as it was my birthday. Honestly really good place to stay .

For a basic hotel for one night it was passable but not worth the amount we paid for it. You'd at least expect tea and coffee making facilities for ÂŁ92 a night. Instead we would have to use the vending machine in reception and pay ÂŁ1.60 for a coffee. The first room we tried didn't even have windows though the photos on booking.com clearly had windows. We luckily were moved to another room that did have windows but only had one towel to share between the two of us. On the plus side the shower was good and the bed comfortable.

I'm very pleased with my visit. We travel as a couple and we only stayed one night. Is true that the rooms need a shelf, cause you can only hang your clothes and for the rest you have to use the floor, but anyway, was very comfortable, very very clean (bedroom and bathroom) and is true is small, but if you only are looking for a place to sleep is more than alright. Carmen was also very kind at our check out, and the cleaning service team too. Thanks to all of them :)

Booked an accessible room, took 3 trips down to reception to get loo roll as there was none in the room and sort the TV remote as it wasn’t working. The bathroom had not been cleaned properly and there was dirt around the accessibility handles, sink, taps, shower chair, on the walls in the bathroom. One large patch of “muck” on the toilet support handle. No where to put your case to enable you to unpack at waist level. Blinds didn’t fit the windows so people outside could see in. Making dressing difficult. Not enough towels to dry the wet room floor as it doesn’t drain properly. Could use a full length mirror. Assessable to a point, needs more thought and care.

Clean and relatively comfortable Walls are extremely thin so you can hear adjacent rooms talking, I had the sound of gurgling water coming from the ceiling all night which made it pretty hard to get to sleep. The main annoyance really was that there was no storage at all. I understand it’s a budget hotel and priced well but the fact that there wasn’t a single shelf makes it difficult for a single night let alone staying there for more than one. If you really need somewhere to stay on a budget or a last minute booking then this is perfect but otherwise I would spend a little more elsewhere

It’s in the name - so easy! All the staff were great, especially Snehal who helped me print a few pages I needed for work…what a lovely lady! The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Great location too. Well played, Team easyHotel! Good job!

Just like the name; easy & very cosy indeed. Rooms are simple with little to no facilities except for the bare minimum- bed, bath & TV. This makes for the perfect sleep spot if you plan on spending most of your waking hours out & about. I was greeted and kindly assisted by the lovely Eliza who was beyond enthusiastic about making my stay no less than perfect.

The location is excellent. The room is relatively clean and the receptionist is friendly. However, the bed does not come with a normal mattress. It's a very thin mattress so it is super hard. The walls are not soundproof, so you can hear what happens next door. I requested a quiet room, however, I was given a room next to the corridor and the lift. I couldn't sleep because of the noise.

Had a great stay at the hotel. Very nice central location. All the staff were super friendly and helpful especially Eliza who made a real extra effort to make us feel welcome. For the price great for a short stay, wouldn't recommend for staying too long however.

Very nice, friendly & helpful staff, big thank you to Carmen and Eliza. Room although small but its clean and comfortable, especially the bed. We had a good night sleep Two things to consider before you book, their policy is 10am checkout time, and will charge luggage storage for ÂŁ5.

Hani was wonderful to work with at the front desk, she was so helpful and cheerful. Her smile and tone can't help but put a smile on your face. She and other staff were very good at helping through out our stay and always friendly. Rooms were decent and to be expected for the type of hotel, no problems. Would stay again!

Victoria was very welcoming and made check in very easy, talkative and kind and had a little laugh; very out at ease from the get go. It was a lovely atmosphere to come into, clean, warm and wonderful. Close to everything you would need to enjoy your stay. Would definitely stay again, lovely staff and definitely helped with booking in.

The location was perfect, only a few minutes walk to city centre. Room was clean and tidy, has all the basic necessities you need for a short trip. I was welcomed by Eliza and she was beyond wonderful! Very good service and friendly staff here. We would definitely come back when we are in Birmingham

Easy Hotel Birmingham is a great stay. Reasonably priced, with a central location. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the service is consistently and exceedingly friendly. Eliza at reception helped me out in a tough spot which I really appreciated. I highly recommend it.

We have had a great stay here in Birmingham easyHotel. The room was great and the location was superb. It's slightly compact but it was clean and well worth the price you paid for. The front desk staff (Eliza) was kind, polite, approachable, and very helpful with all the questions we had about the city. We have had a good rest here and are ready for our next leg of the journey.

We came here for a one night stay for a graduation. It is the perfect location, central and minutes away from the train stop! Victoria and all the staff were super kind, accommodating and helpful! Would stay here again!

It was a great experience to live here. I really appreciate Kamal who gave me so much help when I came to this hotel. I didn't reserve the room before I live. He gave me advice on living and travelling. :) The room is clean and quiet. Suitable for a short stay.

Best service I've had in years! Special thanks to Eliza, the receptionist. After a long trip walking all day, she received me with a smile and a friendly chat with recommendations of Birmingham and everything I needed. My room was big and very comfortable, the views were great, it's worth paying for the room with windows and it's still cheap, the location is very centric and it's 24/7. Thank you I'll recommend this hotel :)

Good value for the money, amazing location a few steps away from the train station. Perfect commute to NEC. Eliza at the reception was so kind to give me some paper sheets and saved me a lot of hasle looking for a bookstore. The rooms are small but it's fine if you choose one with a window. A drawer would be useful if available.

We had a beautiful time at Easy Hotel, the staff were really helpful especially Honey. The room was clean, warm and quiet. We we here here Friday til Tuesday. It’s really central to everything. Definitely recommend to other visitors to Birmingham. Thank you for having us.

2 minute walk from New Street, lovely staff who want to help, really clean room with everything you need. Check-in staff member (around 9pm on 28th November) was super friendly and helpful (sadly didn’t catch her name), and Eliza & Maria were great at check-out. For the price & location, I’d 100% recommend again.

  • 5/5 Francesca L. 5 months ago on Google
I stayed here for one night only and the room was great. I opted for the double room with no window, but as it was on the third floor it had a skylight so I still woke up to natural sunlight. It’s very close to Birmingham New Street which is exactly what I needed. Eliza checked me in and she was so lovely! She’s very knowledgeable about the hotel and we had a great conversation as we were both from Romania. Would 100% come here again, both for the room and to receive Eliza’s wonderful customer service.

Clean, modern hotel within short walking distance to station and attractions. Small family room with good shower room. BUT, it's all about the beds and my double bed was so hard I had to sleep on top of the duvet doubled over and used a bath towel over me.

amazing stay. staffs were amazing, especially Victoria. location was strategic. room and toilet were clean. hot shower works wonderfully. pillows were a bit hard but passable if you're here just to sleep. for such an affordable price for a student, would come here again.

The room key is cool. It is made of woodđź’– The room is very clean and cozy. At the checkout, Miss Hony was extremely helpful in assisting me. She was very kind and patient. Every desk clerk was so sweet and helpful. No microwave but many shopping facilities within a minute's walk.

Stay here for a concert. Small and compacted, no kettle for drinks, but they do have a coffee machine down stairs, so you can purchased for ÂŁ2 a cup which also does Tea. Area is quiet, room very clean, shower room was clean but on the small side. Only issue was the sink was blocked. Will use them again This was reported when leaving. Would use again

Great location and room, perfect for a short stay so you can make the most of the city centre. We booked the family room which was comfortable but the bathroom was less then ideal with a giant hole in the door for a handle. This meant that the person on the single bed could see you on the toilet

If you need a hotel with value for money and central location, easy hotel is what you need! It's clean affordable and after a few cocktails on a night out, easy hotel is hassle free. Ok there's no hot breakfast on site, all the more reason to go grab breakfast somewhere else in the city centre!

  • 2/5 Anthony D. 2 years ago on Google
Room - awfully small. Net even enough space to walk around bed. No window to open so no fresh air. Location - good with some decent bars nearby. Value for money… NO Beds.. terrible Will never stay at an easy hotel again

If you're looking for a basic room for cheap, this is fine. There is Wi-Fi and a tv, but these are both extras.

My first time in an 'Easy Hotel.' I always do my research before booking anywhere but happy with what I got for the price I paid - ÂŁ58 for a Friday night booked in advance. Lots of positives. Location couldn't be better - its bang in the centre with everything you could need easy access to both food, drink and shopping wise. Don't expect 'luxury' or a room Travelodge size, but it's perfectly functional if all you're after is a bed for the night with an en suite and want no nasty surprises around cleanliness. It's small, no doubt about it and in my opinion is best suited for single travellers as it would be a squeeze for more than one person. Didn't have much interaction with staff but seemed pleasant enough, and the fact reception is manned 24/7 is reassuring. The only thing which would have been a nice touch is a kettle in the room and the ability to buy tea bags or coffee sachets at reception, even if it meant paying a small fee to cover the cost and avoid waste and/or people taking more than they need (say 30p each.) On the whole, a very good stay which did me fine. Would stay again if I could secure a similar price and needed to be in Birmingham.

Excellent stay and affordable rooms in the heart of Birmingham. Day & night staff very friendly and always smiling, I spoke to Matt and Dennis - both very welcoming. Even though the rooms are quite small (bed and shower) but what else do you need? Would definitely stay again, if you're in Birmingham on a budget - this is the place to stay in.

  • 4/5 Helene T. 2 years ago on Google
Budget hotel so don't expect luxury or spacious rooms. Clean, warm, comfortable, which is often not the case of budget hotels. Staff is welcoming and helpful. Central location, next to new street station.

  • 4/5 Matthew A. 2 years ago on Google
Be prepared for what you are paying for. If you just need a decent bed this is the best value hotel you'll find. A room with no window is small, it is lacking facilities, but the price is on par with a bunk in a hostel. Generally a good night's sleep but have had the occasional issue with loud ventilation in the night

  • 1/5 ruth t. 2 years ago on Google
Tiniest room ever with no room to move. Like a prison cell with no window. Very expensive.to stay here and you literally had to pay extra for everything. Extra to watch the telly! Extra to leave our case when going out the hotel. What a load of rubbish

Firstly, the room I stayed in was nice had a comfy bed however the day after I realised I was charged twice for my room. When I informed the hotel they said this happened to a lot of customers the night before and i would get a refund within 5-7 working days. Its now been a month and still nothing and I am not getting any clear answers to if or when I will get my refund back.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Room was clean. Although it was small, it was perfect given that I was a solo traveler. Very convenient location since it's located near the city center, the New Street railway station, and lots of shops and restaurants. Great value as well! Will definitely come back to this hotel.

  • 1/5 Craig K. 2 years ago on Google
Come on Easy, don't treat us like cattle, the room was smaller than a prison cell!! I've never ever stayed in such a small room before, it would still be claustrophobic for one person let alone two. I know this is a budget hotel but taking it too far! Toilet seat was broken, shower gel was like water, toilet roll the thinnest tissue paper ever. Air conditioning could not be lowered under 19degrees so room stuffy as no window. Avoid at all costs!!

  • 4/5 Dominic E. 2 years ago on Google
Very simple and easy hotel. Check in process is very quick and efficient. Staff were welcoming on arrival, first time with an easy group hotel and would definitely visit again. Room was compact with no window view but was great for what I needed

I had one night stay in this hotel. Firstly, the receptionist, Neli was fantastic. Very friendly and helpful. She explained me how to get to the places that I needed to visit in Birmingham. Room is small but good air conditioning and comfortable. Shower is clean. Overall, for a budget hotel I recommend this hotel as the staff, location and room quality is great.

My stay was very pleasant. Room was small, however very clean, newly refurbished and modern. Kudos to a lovely receptionist Snehal who was very helpful and professional. She always had smile on her face and positive attitude. We shall be back

Perfectly located near Birmingham New Street station and central to the surrounding shops, bars, restaurants and entertainment venues (we were there for a gig at the nearby O2 Academy). Double room was small but big enough for two people and was clean and comfortable, with a very good shower. Staff were polite, friendly and helpful - a particular shout out to Matthew on the night-desk who arranged our late check-out for the following day with good humour and ease, and Snehal on the Sunday reception for the loan of a hairdryer and a friendly and quick checkout. Will definitely stay again next time I have occasion to visit Birmingham

Really close to new street station two min walk. Room basic but exactly what was needed. Shower, bed, TV, plugs, there is a useful vending machine for a cuppa and snacks. Altho quite pricey for a cup of tea ÂŁ2. But to be expected in a hotel. Check in was painless and the lady was helpful. Check out easy and also this staff member was lovely. All round recommended

I am a regular and notice few new workers & Great customer service from Seema! Very kind and helpful.I hope to see her more. Great location and Budget hotel. The room is very simple, double bed with window & a small shower. Its good for people who work and travel. I will be coming back thank you

  • 2/5 Jacob L. 1 year ago on Google
The room was not well cleaned; there were hairs in my bed and mould in the corner of the shower. Don't expect 'Premier Inn' sized rooms, the rooms are very small and have the most basic amenities - there is no chair or table. The location was central but away from the main road however I was woken up by deliveries and people in th corridors every night. The rooms are certainly not sound proof! The one positive is that the staff were friendly. But for a few ÂŁs extra, I'd say stay elsewhere.

  • 5/5 T S. 2 years ago on Google
It is a good place to stay if its just 1 night but it's not a place you want to be staying at if you intend on staying for a week or more As there are lots of charges for things like WiFi There's a charge if you want to book in early even if your room is ready They charge to store your stuff there's also a charge for having someone come in and do there job of changing the linen big cheek that is Also your door key card is also used to keep the electric on but you have to leave it in the box very strange I think There's also no tea/coffee making facilities if you want one there's a machine in the small lobby at ÂŁ1.60 a pop Also there are rooms with no windows which I found a bit odd The only other good thing the staff are very nice and helpful I enjoyed my stay as I was mostly out I would recommend this place for anyone just wanting to get there head down for the night

  • 5/5 Andrew Mc A. 1 year ago on Google
Lovely stay at the Easy hotel. The central location to the station and markets was perfect for our short stay. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable and we had 2 great nights sleep. This was a great value stay and would thoroughly recommend it. The rooms are compact but it is all we needed for a mini break. Brew Dog bar next door but one is a super spot as was Mowgli.

  • 4/5 Edmund C. 1 year ago on Google
Great value for location, but take note of the subtle noise. Still, really glad that stayed here, as they have one of the best customer service you can find in the city. I was here for 3 nights. The overall stay was excellent, just wished that there could be a working table that I can use during my stay. Do note that you might hear some really soft bass sound from your room during the weekend. Love talking to Neil, she’s been really helpful and sociable during my stay. Thanks a lot to the Eliza for taking note of the room issue and helping out with my luggage too. Appreciate Saif for sorting things out. Keep up the good work!
