The room was clean and there's a nice cat that lives there, but unfortunately I cannot recommend this place. The house (it's like a student house) is so noisy and the heating is on constantly. There's so much noise from outside too (the restaurant across the road playing music at nearly midnight - and this was a Monday night - car alarms going off for hours, car horns, engines revving). Both of the Uber drivers I had (one from the station and the other to return) warned me about the area, saying it wasn't safe. The first guy even told me to stay in the car while he got out to check we were at the right house. This is more like a cheap room share and while the host/owner communicated well and seemed nice (although we only corresponded by text as they weren't at the property) the best thing about this place was the live-in cat. He was a dude.

Dirty carpets and a dirty bathroom. On top of that the people that own the place are never around! So if you have an issue (which we did) then you have to wait till the next day. The carpet and bathroom were one of the most dirty I've ever seen! I don't know if all rooms are this bad but this one was disgusting. Avoid this place.

Nice place to stay, quiet and pleasant, attentive service. I would stay here again another time. A bit far from the city centre(15 min. walk) but, it's easy to get there.

Nice little place to stay exactly what we wanted somewhere to sleep for the night as in Birmingham for a gig at the institute, got to meet the cat that lives there too

Nice place, quiet while still being just 5 minutes walk to hippodrome theatre and glee club

Owner was not present, one opened the door, so I had to cancel my booking.

AirBnB in a not nice off-center area. Clean enough for the price though.
