There's a reason it's so busy on a Sunday at 6pm!! Probably the best mixed grill and curry we've had in the West Mids. Quick service with plenty of table staff, food quality was brilliant, reasonably priced and good portions. Lamb on the bone curry is a must. Only negative was the tables could be cleaned better

We had some issues a couple of weeks back when we last came, I won’t go into detail because it is irrelevant now. But the Manager Mikey went out of his to make sure that myself and my 9 month pregnant partners revisit was perfect. We had amazing service and as always amazing food, reminded us why we count this place as our favourite place to go! Although Mikey couldn’t be here the night we came back his brother took amazing care of us and the staff are a credit to him and we would recommend this place to anyone looking for good food, good atmosphere and good service!!

Being from london and on the search for the best mixed grill I had heard a lot about this place. The chicken wasn’t bad but could do with more flavouring. Lamb kebabs were okay. Chops not good at all. Supposed to be the best in Birms. Let me down.

Superb mixed grill / desi pub. Food is always good, nice Atmosphere. Staff are friendly an quick service. Food came out looking good and piping hot just how you’d want with a slight sizzle from the mix grill still going.

Best grill in Birmingham, hands down. The food is amazing. I always prefer the veggie grill mix. The portion is huge and if spitting between two you will both need a takeaway box. The price is really good for the quality and portion.

Visited this place in Hampton in Arden yesterday absolutely wonderful place, internal decor is very impressive, ladies toilets were very nice too. Lovely balcony overlooking wonderfully kept gardens. Lots of outdoor seating. We had a mixed grill which was excellent could not fault. Staff were all extremely friendly & professional. Enjoyed a few glasses of gin in the sunshine. A lovely vibe to the venue. We will most definitely be going back. This place will thrive I have no doubt. I will certainly recommend this place. 🙌 well done guys. The mixed grill here was really good, my favourite was the chicken tikka. Wasn't a fan of the chicken wings but might be personal preference. Will definitely visit again.

Venue was very clean, staff were attentive without rushing me or being intrusive, food was absolutely fantastic even went up to preparation and cooking area to thank them for a wonderful meal would recommend this place to anyone

The food is good but nothing to rave about, the menu is limited but is often better as the quality is higher. The mix grill was juicy found the flavour bit weak and needed a lot of sauce although the wings was the best component. The sheesh kebab is not great at all. Not enough salad as only small plate for four of us to share.I wouldn't go out of my way to visit again. Prices are fair from my experience. Definitely more pub style quick food could see the rush.

Soho Tavern is one of my favourite places to eat at. The consistency in food quality is insane each time I come here. The food selection, taste and freshness is out of this world. Prices are extremely fair and big portions of food. I’d recommend the Mixed Grill and Chilli Chips. Curries are delicious with selection of naan bread. This place is a great spot to watch sports, as they have TV’s all over the place, two bars with easy access drinks and a great atmosphere. Considering how busy this place always is, the food gets served extremely quick. Nothing like this place and will always be one of the best. Until the next time!

I have been to Soho Tavern multiple times, and I absolutely love it! The food is excellent, with generous portions and decent prices. As a cocktail person, I must say that their signature drink, the Soho Fiesta, is my absolute favorite. The combination of great food, reasonable prices, and fantastic cocktails make Soho Tavern a must-visit Indian restaurant and bar.

We arrived as a walk-in, and they managed to fit us in. Starters were great, my kind of spice level, crispy wings were amazing, lollipop chicken was great, chilli paneer was good as well. Fish tikka was tasty alongside the mix grill. As for the mains I won't say whether they were good or bad as some people in my group liked them, I personally found them on the sweet side, they were chicken, punjabi and jalfrezi curries, with lamb rara, which I asked for medium hot but came out mild. I think this would be a great place to go to in summer. Will defo go again.

Curry and pork steaks was tasty. Sadly some of the chicken in the mix grill was raw. Was told it wasn’t raw, I’ll let you judge from the picture.

Great atmosphere, food was good big portions,service was fast. All in all a nice place. I would come again.

Maybe the best mixed grill in Birmingham? High praise indeed but I think the Tikka Prawns make it the winner for the soho tavern. I would rate the ‘red lion’ in West Bromwich just a touch above in overall restaurantness but the soho tavern is definitely a great bar & grill

Great atmosphere, filled with lovely happy people, no dramas, staff were mostly well mannered and attentive. Food was tasty, the mixed grill was good and the Danny wings. Service was way better than their Hampton in Arden branch and food was better too. Will definitely be going again. It was a great night out for the family, great service, great food. It was only the one moody guy that spoilt what would have been a 5 out of 5 experience.

The food was absolutely fantastic. My friend ordered way too much and took it home for another day. 2 mains, 2 starter, poppadoms & sauce, mushroom rice and chilli cheese naan bread. With chilli chips -rude not to. £32.00 No pics of food. Knife and fork frenzy !

Visited on a weekday lunchtime. Had been here for a desi mixi before, but not for many years. Pub has been nicely refurbed and almost doesn't suit the area it's located in. Staff were very pleasant, from barman through to restaurant service. Beer selection was great. Food was lovely for the most part, and great that they let you switch out bits of the mixed grill, but the kebabs on it were dry and hard. The taste and texture made me suspect they may have been leftovers from the previous day. That was a disappointment to be honest. I expected a lot better from here. If I'm wrong about it being leftovers, then I hope they must've just had an off day. I had good memories of the food here from my previous visit, and their West Bromwich place is great, so this was a surprising let down. If I ever come here again, it will be later in the day and hopefully all of the food will taste fresh.

Easily the best mix grill in the midlands that I’ve had. Food is priced fairly, comes out fast and the portion sizes are good. Most importantly, all the dishes taste great, you can’t go wrong with whatever you order. By far the best chilli chips I’ve had from a mix grill place. The bar is well stocked with good draught beers and spirits and the service is top. Not surprising it’s so many peoples go to spot.

Now this is what you call an Indian restaurant. You can't fault the food. Reasonably priced. The new makeover is good too. Not as cramped as before. We would recommend table service for the drinks using a mobile phone system. This would save a lot of time and make the bar far less crowded.

I ordered in the classic veg grill. The proportion was huge. The soya bits were tasty. The paneer was either uncooked or stale and hard. The ketchup/sauce coating was too much. Taste was not bad overall but i doubt the quality. I liked the kebabs.

Fabulous place!! The food looks and smells incredible and the choice is amazing! The drinks and cocktail options are fab- they do wonderful Passionfruit Mojitos! And the service is brilliant. Friendly and charismatic staff, who make you feel very welcome!

Finally visited after hearing so many good things. Soho Tavern comes with a reputation so I was expecting great food and was not disappointed. The mix grill was delicious. Everything had a different taste profile and the chicken karai pot for mains was insane. Very very good!
