We really enjoyed our stay at Chimneys. We are a group of friends who were visiting Blackburn for The Jethro Tull Concert. Suhel met us on arrival and was a very accommodating host. The bedrooms were spot on with plenty tea and coffee available. From the breakfast choice, we chose the Indian selection of Mango juice and omelette,Tea and Coffee, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Stayed at Chimneys over the weekend with my family and I cannot say enough! The hosts were exceptionally welcoming and most accommodating. They made sure our stay was one of utmost comfort and were very attentive to our requirements. Our rooms were spotlessly clean and attention to detail added a most pleasant and relaxing ambiance. It is obvious that the place is well cared for and the views from the rooms are gorgeous. Breakfast went down a treat, even for the little picky eaters! The best thing about the location is that it is a stone’s throw away from the shopping centre and amenities. All-round excellent service which means we will definitely be back! Highly recommend to all.

A very enjoyable 5 day stay at this lovely guesthouse with fine views across Blackburn. Lovely rooms, excellent food and very friendly and welcoming. Will stay again. Highly recommend.

We had a fantastic stay at this family friendly Chimneys B&B during the Christmas holidays. We travelled with our fussy 15 month baby and 2.5 year old child. All I can say is that the couple who run the B&B (Suhel & Amina) have got it right, minimum fuss with great attention to detail. They really went above and beyond for my little ones which meant a lot. Everything is in the room or close by for the week needed and definitely home away from home. Breakfast is a must at Chimneys (Indian breakfast) - sets you up for the day! I cannot find fault with this B&B, they have free parking on site, and excellent Wi-Fi connection. Overall satisfaction is Excellent.

Fantastic stay in Blackburn. The owner and his family are so welcoming and keen to share their obvious interest in their home and surrounding area. The Asian breakfast was delicious and definitely worth a try. The traditional breakfast was also very good. I would definitely stay there again.

I stayed in Chimney's for more than two weeks in November 2012 and my experience was very good. By looking at the review of the previous reviewer I am sure that he was not as the same place where I stayed. I found the facilities, service and staff of a very high standard. My room was comfortable, clean and well equipped with everything in working order. The central heating was working well and the Television sported a variety of channels for comfortable viewing. The room was cleaned and vacuumed every day and fresh towels supplied on a daily basis. The daily breakfasts were delicious with juice, coffee and tea, a variety of cereals and a full English breakfast that was prepared with care. The staff/owners were very friendly and accommodating and advised me on where to go for sightseeing over the weekend. They made me feel at home, although I was thousands of kilometres from home. Wi- fi is also available at a nominal/ very small fee. Chimney's location was ideal for me as I was within a 10 minute walking distance from my place of work and about 20 minutes from Blackburn town centre. Just down the street I found a number of good shops and take away restaurants and there were no sight of swingers or other "red light" activities. I am a seasoned traveller and have stayed in hotels and motels in Africa, South America, Central and East Europe, and my stay at Chimneys rates amongst the best of what I have experienced thus far.

All I can say is that the couple who run the B&B have got it right, minimum fuss without intervention. Everything is in the room or close by for that night or week away from home. Breakfast is a must at Chimneys - sets you up for the day! I cannot find fault with this B&B, they even have free parking on site, which in Bath is charged by the hour. Overall satisfaction is Excellent. Internet access is a must and Chimneys has an excellent network.
