We had a great stay a few weeks ago. Staff were lovely and really nice genuine people, rooms newly refurbished and spacious, breakfast was great, they even had a fridge downstairs where they kept cold water and milk that you could help yourself too.

We booked this place through seeing the many good reviews and we weren't disappointed. The location is brilliant 3 mins to sea front the rooms were modern and light exceptionally clean and comfy . The bar is Cosy with draught lagers and alot of local spirits and it's not overpriced at all . The breakfast was brilliant and the pancakes and Syrup were the kids choice loved them got to mention the coffee machine lattes were gorgeous proper bean machine . Last of all the family who own it informative really freindly and down to earth it's been over 20years since I've stayed in b and b's but this place is going to my regular when visiting Blackpool it's a family calm chilled out atmosphere I wish I could give it 10 stars ...

We were made to feel so welcome, the room was lovely and clean plus the location was great. The breakfast was well organised and tasty. The afternoon tea was wonderful, lots to eat and all homemade....yummy!. The service was excellent. We totally enjoyed our stay.

Andy, Kathy & everyone at the Hurstmere were extremely welcoming and we had a brilliant time. The breakfast was brilliant and I really liked the way they offered it. We received a tick list saving time and effort in the morning. The hotel was extremely clean and we particularly enjoyed our time in the little bar they have in the basement. There is plenty for the kids to do to keep them occupied while we could enjoy a beer. The Hurstmere is ideally located for families too, between the Central and South piers so it's a nice pleasant walk with everything not too far away.

Just back from a 2 night stay and can't fault this place. It's the best family room we've ever stayed in, and the attention to detail was second to none and so thoughtful....it feels like they really have thought of everything. Great bar in the basement, really kid oriented and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. We'll definitely be booking again.

Absolutely brilliant place. Great price, fantastic hosts, great food and a cracking bar! 200m from the sea, 100m from a tram stop so could easily get to wherever we wanted from there. Will be booking again and looking forward to coming back!
