A massive beach area, which only about 20m is publicly accessible. The public area is completely unmaintained and basically gross. It’s a real shame. Because it really wouldn’t take too long to clean up, probably less than a couple hours. For a place that so dependent on tourist income you’d think that they would try a little harder here and also have a little bit more pride in their town. Kind of painful to write this. Sorry!

Nice, sandy beach. There is a small area where is public beach that you can put your towel. Otherwise you have to pay for the sunbeds and umbrellas. Everywhere is occupied with hotels or facilities so you need to check and make sure you have an access to beach or you are close by public area. You can recognize the area with flags and lifeguard. There you can swim with your towel otherwise you have to pay. Most hotels already has their own access. Sea is very calm and nice. Some parts are crowded but not everywhere. Bunch of water sports, beach bars, parties and DJ.

The beach is not what you would find at home. It is pebbled but beautiful surroundings. Plenty of water sports on offer. Not to far from the harbour. Restaurants in the horse shape, the bay. Any where on the beach leads to shops, pubs restaurants and hotels

No need to come to Bodrum. Textile and bag products are fake Chinese products. Local Turkish textile are not existent anymore. Also regarding food, good Turkish traditional cuisine is not easy to find anymore. Instead you get mostly tourist food (beef stroganoff, Bratwurst, fish and chips, steaks etc). Other Turkish cities are much better.

45 mins from Xanadu Island in a taxi ( roughly £10) Lots of bars and restaurants on the beach. Unfortunately due to Covid not many places are open and have been left empty or derelict that makes it look messy. The beach itself seemed a little over crowded for a small beach. Seemed to be a lot of water sports and boat/party tours available.

I don’t know) May be I was expecting too much, but really, nothing impressive, the beach and the sea bottom are pretty stony, a lot of big and small stones. Unpleasant bottom. We entered for free but didn’t spent much time with baby. The water is really crystal, you can see every single tiny fish there. We came there from Didim to visit Bodrum, and actually, Beaches in Didim are much better)) I suppose it is better to take daily boat trip to fully enjoy the place.

Clean beach with space to walk our dog without stray dogs around. Love this time of year

After spending time in downtown Bodrum (which has no sandy beaches) we departed town and stopped here to see some sand. This is a very different area than Bodrum. While it is fine, it is a much simpler world than Bodrum. The sand is fine but not a perfect sandy beach. It is also quieter. In fact, in January, it was a ghost-town. This is obviously a summer town!

Water was polluted and sand was full of cigarettes butts. Is a nice place.

The sea was clear blue waters and clean, there’s plenty of water activity around; sun beds to choose from with different vibes , some had a dj and a foam party!

Lovely beach, mostly occupied by all inclusive resorts but you can get free sunbeds in some places provided you use the attached restaurant.

Music, drinks and food are everywhere in this beach along with water sports. Lounge chairs and umbrella s can be rented for the day as long as you eat or drink from the restaurant that own the spot.

Big beach, but the water is not very clean and the watersports around it make it even more polluted. Renting sunbeds is mandatory (100 turkish lira for 1 person, 200 for 2). It is safe so nice for families but not extraordinary in any way.

The beach is less sand, than pea gravel. That would be ok,but because of the large number of smokers, in a county where smoking is allowed, there were huge numbers of fag ends all over the place. Pretty disgraceful really. The sea appears to be relatively clean, and,of course it's warm.

Gumbet beach is an excellent choice for those who want to stay away from the hustle and bustle of Bodrum The beach a bit pebbly but still can at times be clear. We had all inclusive with out resort so had access to the drinks and sun loungers. But the there were loads of fishes at night time so might need to be careful when swimming

👍 Ok place that had nice vibe but music was too loud for a very slow night with only maybe 15 patrons on the bar. Nice sound system and Interior bar. I'm sure they have great live bands during busy season. Worth a drink for us.

👍 Good food and service. I liked the music here. Service was on point. Reasonably priced. Payed 900TL for two which included drinks and dinner.
