Had to stop in and check out the gluten free desserts. Dessert deprivation is a thing when you are gluten free. Employees were very helpful. Took home 3 servings to try: Dairy Queen Ice Cream Cake, PB Cup Sundae, and Cereal Milk. They were all amazing. I think my fave was the PB Cup. But my daughter liked the Cereal Milk and hubs liked the Dairy Queen Cake. These are single serving, frozen treats so you can stock up the freezer and pull out a dessert each day.

Just got to meet owners Cindy and Drew. They're very personable, informative, health conscious peeps that this Vegan Diabetic is so happy to have found their shop of awesome sweet treats that is so well worth a visit. This is My second visit in 2 days and I probably will be back tomorrow as I'm struggling not wanting to try all the options!

Ingrained is simply the best, from the ingredients used, the taste and texture, the flavor profiles, and the mission behind it. The owners are the sweetest and very personable, simply following them along their journey on social media brightens my day! The superfood bars are where it’s at! Unbelievably delicious and after trying a few flavors I’d say you can never go wrong with any! However, brambleberry crisp wins all for me, if you see it grab it! Definitely a must try! I crave it at least twice a week.

This is by far the best place in Chicago to treat yourself! There are soooo many options, I just wanted to take them all! I got a chance to meet the owners and the are so lovely, they really care and appreciate their clients and make delicious treats for them. I just don’t know of a better place in Chicago where you could eat as many vegan sweet treats like in this place. I would give it 10 stars if I could!

Great vegan desserts; know that you are getting into clean, yummy, but rich sweets. Their bars are awesome but really need to be kept frozen. Go for their dessert balls if you can’t keep something frozen cold for an extended period.

I had the pleasure of trying one of the bars by Ingrained at a New Year Vision board wellness event held by burn and breathe by Ashley Barron. These bars were amazing! I would not only purchase them personally but I would highly recommend them if you’re looking for a tasty treat for your next event!

There aren’t enough words to express how much I love Ingrained Chicago! It’s so hard to find a rare gem like Ingrained that’s not only gluten-free, vegan, and soy-free, but also uses the highest quality ingredients without sacrificing on taste! You can tell that the owners, Syd and Andrew, truly care and put so much love into their health-conscious creations. They are literally masters of their craft when it comes to making innovative treats that marry flavor-forward and functional ingredients together perfectly. Their raw bars are especially incredible and give you nostalgia like you’ve never experienced before! As someone with a lot of food sensitivities and health issues, my dessert options are extremely limited. Their bars are an absolute game changer and make me feel like I’m not missing out on traditional sweets and goodies. I’m not lucky enough to live in the area, so my only wish is that they would expand and come closer to me!!

Best desert spot in Chicago hands down. The menu is always rotating and always such amazing creations coming out of the kitchen. 10/10

If you haven't been here you need to go!!! Being vegan and gluten free it's hard to find a place that is both and still delicious!!! I found this place almost two years ago and it's consistently one of my favorite places. Everything from the raw bars (flavors change constantly, and never disappoint), the salads, and soups are amazing and are based on what's in season and organic 🖤! It's healthy, delicious and very creative in the flavors!

I truly can’t say enough good things about Ingrained. I have never purchased anything I haven’t liked, nor have I ever received anything but outstanding quality and service. Being a dancer with reoccurring stomach issues, it’s difficult to find meals and snacks that both fuel me and leave my gut feeling good. I can always count on Ingrained to do exactly that. Aside from the extraordinary food, the owners are some of the most considerate people I have met, and are incredibly dedicated to perfecting every detail. They have made such a huge positive impact on my life, and continue to raise the bar for high quality and healthy food.

I was searching for a health-conscious eatery during my visit to Chicago, and I’m so happy to have found ingrained! This was a 10/10 dining experience; the employees were super sweet and the food was to drool for. We had the buffalo cauliflower flatbread, the pistachio lavender cup, and the ube graham cracker raw bar. I also have to mention that all the ingredients were listed on their menu—very appreciative about that. Only one downside: ingrained isn’t nationwide! I’ll be dreaming of ingrained 1,750 miles away until I visit again 😋

Love this place so much, I'm obsessed w the cinnamon rolls and raw bars, honestly anything you get here will be amazing (and healthy)! The owners & employees are the best, they get to know you and are so friendly. I love how there’s new things added to the menu daily, it makes it fun to try new things!

I love that the ingredients are raw vegan, especially when the butterfinger bar tastes even better than a butterfinger! The cookie dough cup was also amazing. Will always come here to satisfy my [incessant] sweet tooth without feeling the guilt.

I can eat gluten and dairy, my significant other cannot. We tried this place from a google search. My significant other and I usually don't like sweats and usually hate gluten free dairy free desserts. After trying the peanut butter cup bar (we let it thaw out to cheesecake consistency but was still cold) and that was the first time she ever said WOW about a dessert. Highly recommend the people and desserts there.

The deserts are all vegan which I love! Super delicious and the little cheesecake-ice-creams are great for hot weather! And the stuff was so so nice - very welcoming and helpful and just great. The deserts are, however, quite pricey. I understand why, but I wouldn’t get them again because 9 dollars for a bar is a lot, sadly.

Everything is so colorfully delicious and creative! A great place to stop by for breakfast or a snack. The nice cream are beautifully arranged and decently sized. There is not much seating inside, but everything is easily portable so you can take outside and enjoy the weather. The staff were super friendly and I can’t wait to visit again :)

This place is seriously the best place in all of Chicago. I am a major foodie and had to start eating with allergies and health focused ingredients in mind. If I could eat this every day, I would. No joke the quality, the presentation, ingredients, portions, how you feel it’s like MAGIC. Every dessert I’ve ordered from the raw bars to the cake and other treats physically make me want to cry because it’s so delicious.The flatbread pizza thing I could just eat until I can’t stand physically because it’s so rich an hits every flavor in your mouth. Please do yourself a favor and order here immediately. I literally am in love with your food and establishment ingrained so please stay in business forever. Thank you ❤️

Ingrained has been a welcomed surprise this last year - after switching to very allergen-specific preferences it was difficult to find treats that satisfied. Luckily, Ingrained is not only made from whole and healing ingredients, every single snack I've tried is unique in flavor and tastes incredible. Besides having several staples, their menu rotates nearly everyday...it's honestly difficult to choose which new flavors to try. One order I can never go without are the chocolate chip cookies. I will put these up against any cookie you can bring to the table - don't forget to add the vanilla swerve icing on top as that puts these treats over the top in the best way. I also had a great experience with ordering a custom cake for my birthday this year. Syd was incredibly receptive to my suggestions and was genuinely excited at the thought of creating something custom just for me.
