Lots of bargains and helpful staff x

Expensive tat! Went in as my teenage daughter wanted her school bag from here (peer pressure!) The bag she picked was the last one of its type. Lots of loose threads hanging off it. Had to queue for ages as there was only 1 person on tills. After waiting for sometime they eventually opened another till. Staff are miserable and rude, one nearly tripped me up with a truck full of stock. Store was a mess with lots of items not on racks/shelves etc. I would never choose to go in this shop for myself but apparently teenage girls think it's the bees knees!

This shop has some great clothing and assessories for any woman's fashion taste. Good value reasonable prices. Lovely space to walk round.

Clean and tidy store and got great collection of mens clothing with great price tags, especially in these difficult financial times. Friendly store staff and easily approachable should you require any assistance or help. I was only looking to purchase for myself, but female clothing looked great too, I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for weather your male or female. Thanks, River Island store in Bolton, I'll be back for future purchases soon.

The clothes are stylish and well-made, and the prices are reasonable. I also appreciated the helpful and friendly staff which helped me apply my discount at check out.

Very welcoming staff and great choice of items and local

Went there few days ago on my birthday and bought a skirt, which they left the alarm on as the staff was busy chatting ( and trying to guess the price of it as they did not have a clue) while I was trying to pay and obviously had to rip the skirt at home for me to be able to wear it that night. Staff is just rude, not able to spend time looking for clothes as they keep passing by and shouting " excuse meeee" as if you disturbing them. Clothes are amazing but if I had known that I was going to be treated like that, I would not have gone. For now, I will not go back.

Really well lit shop with very tasteful displays around the store. The merchandise is easily accessible and there are enough mirrors around each section for you to have a quick look , without the need to try every item on in the changing room. The changing rooms are really spacious, and the staff are so friendly and helpful that it is a good experience coming to this store. The bag section is my favourite, I could literally spend ages here touching and feeling the various hand bags.

Was a fantastic experience. Assistant went above and beyond to get me what I wanted .

Went to river island today and it looks like a second hand charity shop, I feel river island has gone down hill over the last few years, I used to love shopping there and seeing all the new fashions, but it's so disappointing these days especially the bolton shop.

Good shop , nice clothes and few items on sale.
