Don’t eat! Have a drink and enjoy the view. The food is overpriced for what it is - average barbecue my parents might do better. Have a beer and look over the Rhine, that works. Update. Like many others commented here: it’s not just the price alone. Try to put some love in and people will accept it. No need for huge portions or caviar - we know people need to get paid and ingredients cost more. But show that you’re making an effort. Wrapping feta in alu (7,60€) or that said (sad) bratwurst makes you feel cheated.

The location sets this hotel apart with river frontage. There is a big beer garden accessible from both the hotel and the river side with some light food. Our weekend stay was nice but a few things to note as it is an expensive hotel. Our main issue was the lack of air conditioning and it also wasn't particularly hot. This did make it challenging to sleep. We traveled with a small child but our room was up a flight of about 8 stairs, after exiting the lift. We carried the pram up and down these several times a day. Anyone booking with a child, should check this. The attention to detail on checking shower gel and shampoo was filled before room check-in was missing and annoying but fixed by getting dressed and going to reception for refills.

We didn't take the more expensive rooms, so maybe the score isn't accurate compared to other rooms. Nonetheless, hotel seems focussed more on elderly people. We stayed here with kids and we were the only one. Also most people were wearing suits (im on holiday, I only wear suits at work) so we didn't really fit in 😅 location wise it's super next to the Rhein, breakfast was also good. We could stay in our room until noon which was also nice. Don't think we will come back here, will look for alternatives in the surrounding as the region is very nice!

This hotel has a beautiful view of the Rhine River. We loved our view from the balcony and the trees were gorgeous in the fall. The bed was comfy and room was clean. There is a mini fridge in the room with a complimentary water. There is a small elevator up to your floor but you still have to go up a few stairs to get to the room as well as through a few doors. Breakfast (6:30-10:30) is mediocre with bread, yogurt, eggs, etc. It gets very busy on the weekends so eat early. Service was lacking for us but not for everyone else. The tables around us were asked if they wanted coffee, etc but we were not spoken to at all. Maybe because we weren’t an older couple. This hotel caters more towards business and older clients. Parking is included and is across the street in an underground garage with plenty of space. There’s a beautiful walking and biking trail behind the hotel along the river. There’s also a nice park close by.

I stayed here while attending the wedding of a friend. This hotel has quite a history. Look it up. Lovely setting on the Rhein. Clean & solid in quiet, high end neighborhood. Offers a basic breakfast buffet. Located on a nice walking or biking trail along the river. Reasonable price.

Absolutely fantastic hotel set right on the edge of the Rhine river approximately 7km south of Bonn. The staff are very friendly, the rooms are large and nicely appointed. There is plenty of free parking and a beer garden. A sensational breakfast is served each morning with a huge selection of different delicacies. I can't say a bad thing about this hotel. I have stayed here 3 times and it's all been good. Well behaved dogs and children are also welcome.

This place is a bit strange. I could imagine it was very nice and classy some time ago. Now it just feels dated but neither old nor classy even though the room was quite fresh and appealing with a huge flat screen TV, large bed and a tablet to order Room Service. Not a handicap friendly place as there are stairs everywhere and no ramps. The restaurant is OK but do not order the beef tartar (worst I eve ever had. No seasoning, tasteless and packed like it is meant to be grilled as a hamburger). Staff (cleaning ladies, receptionists, restaurant staff) were all very friendly and accommodating with a smile

My absolute favourite place to stay in the Bonn area. Excellent views of the Rhine River. Great service. Best breakfast I have ever had.

The brunch is on again and with the new chef is even better than before. We enjoyed like always the beautiful classical setting with view to the Rhine. The choice and quality of the buffet is very good

Good location with amazing view. Hotel has a classic feeling of high society. Staff was very friendly and orices were very reasonable. Great place to walk/bike along the rhine. We enjoyed our stay and would come back.

Bier is ok but the food could be much better

One of the nicer things in life is sitting in a beer garden by the Rhine on a warm sunny afternoon, enjoying a drink and good company. This is the perfect place for that. Good for families with kids as well. Not eaten here but am told the food is decent and inexpensive.

It is a huge biergarten with perfect rhein river and Petersburg view. Generally weekends are crowded. But prices are reasonable and service team are very friendly. If you want to enjoy your rhein moment it is the best place for living that experience. Also You can park your bike in bicycle parking lot and street also provides limited number of parkplaces for cars. That's why best way to the reach here is biking!

The perfect place for an afternoon in the sun. The pasta dishes are superb and the beer is excellent. Great staff and a fabulous riverside location with loads of space for large groups and families.

Calm, relaxing and inspiring! You can have coffee, beer or wine, depending on your current mood stuffed potato or barbeque can be taken from friendly chef waiting to serve you ☺

Great outdoor beer garden. Sun cover, trampolines, more space further back with garden furniture. Self serve. Prices okay. Not cheap.

If you want to enjoy modern and friendly service in a traditonal hotel right on the banks of the Rhine river, this is the place to go. In summer you will enjoy the Biergarten, and in winter the quiet and peaceful restaurants, and hotel rooms. We were there many times, and food and services have always been to our satisfaction.

Great room with no air conditioner. Great environment but little far from station if you walk. Great service, not other complain.
