Avoid this hotel. Check in staff were unwelcoming. Mix up with booking over dinner inclusivity. Car parking is chargeable although not mentioned. A/c not working in very small loud hot room. No security on front door. Felt uncomfortable when shouting match broke out in bar area - several travellers staying in the hotel were causing chaos; drinking & letting their children run amok. Allowed to Smash glasses & leave a Mess everywhere. Breakfast had no tea available. Pool & changing rooms very small steam room not working. Had to wait 4 hours for dinner on one occasion - not great with children. Dessert Menu had 8 options but only 2 choices available. Hotel leaking when it rained. Hotel over booked so my sister had to sweat it out over night in 35 - 40° heat with 2 fans going; no air as window was broken.no other rooms available. Staff are trying to help but everything seems to either not work or they can’t cope with work load. Food & location the only redeeming qualities, and I’ll give a shout out to Sandra who did try her best.

Fantastic Holiday Inn with great facilities including a pool, gym with lots of equipment and even a steam room and sauna which I was very pleased with! The room was spacious and well designed, and the bathroom had under floor heating as well as a mirror that didn’t steam up which I found impressive. The food was decent but the service wasn’t very good unfortunately and I had to wait about 10 minutes to check in despite being the only person there. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel for somewhere to stay for a short while and the building itself is fantastic!

Large car park. Large restaurant area. When I went, during the day just before Christmas, there were a lot of empty tables. We had afternoon tea. 6 of us had 3 stands of small cakes and sandwiches. Doggy bags were provided for those who wanted to take the leftovers home. Service was good, from the helpful man at the entrance desk to the lady who served the food.

Really nice hotel with good facilitates. Nice and friendly staff as well. Unfortunately on this occasion the two rooms we were given had no heating. And the second room we changed to had a bad smell to it.

I had reservations when driving up to the hotel, but I was absolutely not dissapointed upon entering. Stayed the night as a family, room was spot on and spotless, great decor and comfy bed. Evening meal was spot on, service was bang on point and so was the food. Breakfast is your typical buffet but the staff made us feel welcome and promptly got more product that was not out on show (simply ran out). We went for a swim after breakfast and the pool was a decent warm temp. Kids loved it. Would stay in this hotel again for sure.

Excellent staff, quiet peaceful location in an exclusive residential area of Surrey / Greater London. 5 star spa & pool facilities. 5 star restaurant menu (v impressive food). Great spacious bar. Spotlessly clean throughout. Fully equipped bedrooms with modern decor & super clean. Friendly & hardworking kind, considerate and happy staff throughout the hotel.

Loved it, the room was lovely with a bath which I prefer, warm and clean. The staff f were all really polite and helpful. Had a lovely swim in the pool and a sauna also a gym if you needed. The food was good, lots of nice little places to sit and have a drink or coffee. The stairs were nice and wide and easy for me to get up to first floor, I suffer with asthma and I got up then with no problem. There is a lift. Can't wait to go back for mothers day weekend 😃😍

Wow! What a hotel! We're staying here for the next few weeks while our house is being repaired and I really can't fault a single thing! Our family room is a great size, beds are super comfy, housekeeping is of excellent standard, service is awesome, food is scrummy! I've stayed in hundreds of hotels over the years, including the big ones, Milton, The Savoy, Clarifies etc. and I can honestly say this is the best stay I've ever experienced! The staff here are what makes it so special, they are attentive and always ready to help wherever they can. To be honest, I really don't want to leave!! 100% Fabulous!

I’d just like to say Callum at reception was absolutely amazing and I really appreciated his kind and honest service, absolute great staff member who enjoys his job and helping people. 5* for him! The only thing that let me down was the jacuzzi wasn’t warm and there was cold water coming into the jacuzzi at all times staff checked and think the temperature was around 20 degrees of the water when it should be around 38-40, the sauna was decent but the steam room wasn’t also working properly, there was no steam and it was very cold compared to how a traditional steam room should be. The staff should monitor this better and make sure everything is warm and working well instead of just working. Please address these issues so the next person that comes there doesn’t share the same disappointment in the spa area. Thank you, other than that staff were friendly and place was great 👍🏽

An unusual architecture and design. The location is at the edge of the river, at the same time as the marina hotel or among the trees. The service is absolutely very good and the staff is attentive, Especially Mr Rana was very helpful, he was very quick and attentive every time at breakfast time. Social activities at the hotel are sufficient. The gym and pool, as well as the restaurant, amazing breakfast, bar-cafe area, and terrace, overlook the magnificent greenery. rooms are IHG standard.

Holiday Inn Shepperton is indisputably the best Holiday Inn that we have ever been as a family. The room service is topnotch, the reception staff are welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed the pool every single day (my eyes are sore). The restaurant’s food is very good too. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner there every day for four days. I would highly recommend The Club sandwich. The kids eat for free which helped immensely. We honestly didn’t want to leave the hotel.

We visited this hotel as my daughter held her double christening here. It was truly amazing day. The food was lovely the setting was superb, staff were friendly and polite with great service. Plenty of parking, great place to hold a venue be it weddings, Christenings, birthday parties etc. Not forgetting staying here in the hotel as a guest.

We were a little disappointed that the building works were still underway, as at the time of booking the works were said to be completed before our stay. That aside, we still had a lovely stay. We were able to use the pool twice (this needs to be booked with 24h notice) and it was lovely. The water was clean, the jacuzzi relaxing and the steam room enjoyable. As the restaurant was still closed, we had dinner in our room. The food was delicious and the portions generous. Breakfast was packed into a brown bag for us to collect from the reception area at a time of our choosing. We completed our order form the night before and it was all wrapped up and ready at the time we requested it for. There was no issue with ordering as much as we wanted, I. E. There was no limit on the number of bacon and sausage rolls we wanted. The reception and room service teams were friendly and forthcoming and nothing was a problem. Once the building work is completed, this will be a lovely hotel to spend a couple of days at. Until then, an open mind, a little understanding and a flexible attitude will allow you to have a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

We recently visited the hotel for my Mum's 80th birthday lunch, with my family. We had a table booked for 16, and were accommodated comfortably. Upon arrival there was plenty of parking. A warm, friendly welcome. Tatianna, Rana and the team in the restaurant were attentive to our needs. The food was hot and tasty, and a great time was had by all. Thank you

Came here for Christmas dinner 2023 and had the worst Christmas meal I've ever experienced. My main complaint is the fact that we were waiting over an hour between courses, and when I asked how long we should be expecting to wait I was very rudely dismissed. The atmosphere was nice, however the food was not, the mains were tasteless and basic, and the dessert was inedible. My experience obviously only relates to one day of the year, but I would absolutely not recommend booking here for a Christmas dinner.

Bit off the beaten track but once there all was good, we used the hotel as meeting point for family for a boxing day get together and lunch. Was met by Tatiana the front of house lady, organised drinks and got us all under way with dinner. The food was great and sensibly priced, the drinks flowed and time flew by. Even her team Monika and sis ha kept the kids entertained, all making the day special. Many thanks team and we will definitely return. Regards

Stayed at the hotel for one night for work. The lobby, restaurant and bar area all look recently refurbished and modern with plenty of space to sit. The outside terrace is nice but as smoking is allowed on some of the seats it does take the edge off if you are near someone who is smoking. The food was good but service was slow, possibly due to the young/inexperienced staff who may have needed better mentoring. The room was comfortable and quiet although the TVs "smart" functions just didn't seem to work. There is a good deal of greenery around the perimeter of the hotel if you want to stretch your legs.

Brilliant hotel, staff very friendly and helpful. Restaurant staff was really good and helped celebrate our daughter’s 9th birthday by putting a candle in a muffin and making it that little bit special. Restaurant manager was spot on and made sure that the chefs kept the meals coming out. She was a young lady but knew her job well also the evening waiters was really good. Swimming pool needs a deep clean! On the side of the pool where the windows are the pool tiles had black scum on them and if one was to run the fingers along the tiles it would make your finger black 🤢

A bit out of the way. The rooms were of a good standard that one would expect of this 'chain' hotel. The menu was poor with little variety and was the same for lunch and dinner. The buffet breakfast was good but unfortunately, as with most 'self service' buffets, was tepid . The bonus was the swimming pool and spa facilities. However, it was crowded with 'outside' club members.

Nice Hotel at a decent price. Our room felt clean and comfortable. Heated floors in the bathroom, which we always appreciate. Breakfast was good with many options. Like a lot of hotels for some reason, the corridors smelled a little like cigarette smoke. But the room smelled fine. The bathroom fixtures could have been more functional. It was difficult to keep water from getting out of the shower onto the floor, the sink was narrow so water easily splashed out and the drain could not keep up with the faucet flow.

A hotel that was good value for money and good staff but could be better. Rooms are nice and staff are excellent. However the indoor pool has paint peeling off the walls, the second night the restaurant seemed understaffed despite them doing their best (other guests left to eat elsewhere it was so slow) and it was noisy untill 11pm with loud off-key karaoke from neighboring properties and noisy guests having pizza parties in their rooms and running up corridors. For a family with young kids it wasn’t good, but if you plan to sleep later its probably great!

We have visited this Holiday Inn for years in order to visit family and friends.. The staff are consistently kind, helpful and polite. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. Since the redesign inside the hotel, the lounge and dining area has buzzed with social and work gatherings of people. The breakfasts have been amazing value for money with the daily selection of food available. And a big thank you to the alert and efficient staff who are always available to help. Pooches are also welcomed tho their owners encouraged to sit away from the immediate dining area.special events are planned with care and enthusiasm. Thank you everyone for all your hard work.

We held a charity Ladies Lunch and Fashion Show at the newly refurbished Holiday Inn, Shepperton, and it was amazing. From the initial contact and throughout the process all requests/arrangements were met with a positive ‘no problem’ attitude. Under the leadership of the amazing Sandra the whole team were warm, friendly and professional throughout the day. Rooms were provided for the models and choir to get ready in and the main event took place in a beautifully prepared dining room. Nearly 150 guests dined on fantastic food - all delicious, promptly served, and the hot food was hot! This is an annual event, but our first time at this venue, and we will certainly be back - our guests will insist on it! Well done and our grateful thanks to everyone involved. I had arranged a family lunch for 13 of us. I started to booking process a few weeks before the date and found the whole process unhelpful and confusing. There were 13 of us and we were asked to preorder our food. The menu was limited and after I asked about any other menu we were sent the festive menu. Some picked their choice from this menu, others from the restaurant menu. We were then told that we had to pick from one or the other menu. I questioned this and eventually, they agreed we could pick from either menu. As if they were going beyond what was required. A small group, for Sunday lunch time. I should have gone with my gut instinct and cancelled but no. When the day arrived, our food order had not been given to the kitchen so we had to wait 20 minutes for our starters. The food was adequate, but no more. They had run out of French fries!!! We were kept waiting for service which was slow. There were not enough staff and no one took ownership of our needs. We were given the drinks and some food for free but for this awful service, adequate food and a very disappointing lunch, I was charged £250. I was contacted by the manager and she was sorry but thought they had done the best they could have, even inviting me back for a discounted meal. I would have thought a full refund would have been appropriate but no. Do not go to this hotel. It was awful. I have had far better service in our local Curry house !!!!

Lovely place at the bottom of a half mile lane. Rooms okay. Health club looks good including the pool. Nice buffet breakfast. Choice of evening meals okay but expensive compared to other hotels. £16 for a standard burger.. Ufff

Do not book this stay if you are looking for London. Public transit takes 2 hours with a 16 minute walk to closest station, Uber will cost you approximately $60 and take more than 30 minutes to arrive. The staff was kind upon arrival, I was told she was getting me a nice room, the view is of a brick wall. Other than that, it’s a hotel and is fine but does need paint touch ups and not just the repaint but to be stripped and redone in the rooms. I do like the wine prices though so that’s a plus.

Have to say the room was spot on. Had the best night's sleep I'd had in ages. Bar was pretty decent too and prices weren't as bad as I'd anticipated. We booked an executive room, the website says: "Executive rooms come with extras like free chocolate" but I think they forgot that in our room Attempted to go for a swim early evening and wish i hadn't bothered. There were just too many people in the pool area, some weren't even swimming, just watching other people which I found weird. There was also a lady there with a dog, in the SWIMMING AREA!? I left after about 20 minutes. Would definitely stay again, its close to the racecourse and there's some lovely restaurants nearby. I would just give the pool a wide berth.

Only came to visit someone whilst in the area but the staff were lovely. Easy to park and register the car registration plate at reception on a touch screen. Food and drink was nice and quick. Even the toilets are decent. Can't say anything about the rooms personally, but if it is nice as the areas I did visit I would happily stay here.

Lovely peaceful location which we have stayed at many times before. We loved the recent renovation and particularly the new Restaurant. The Reception staff were friendly when we checked in which gave us a nice start to our break. The star of the weekend for us was Tatiana who ran the show in the Restaurant for our evening meals. She was friendly, smiley, chatty and extremely efficient and polite. She could not have been more helpful to us and we observed her being likewise with all the other guests. She has been at the Hotel for three years she told us and let’s hope she is there for many more. We will be back in October and look forward to seeing her again hopefully.

We stayed in a family room with our 2 young children. The room was fab, sofa plenty big enough for them and all spotlessly clean. Air conditioning was great in room. Lovely friendly restaurant staff, even though it was busy, looked after us so well. Lovely little pool with super clean showers and changing facilities. Was a lovely stay and would definitely stay there again. Thank you to all the staff.

😠 This is about Squire's cafe rather than the garden centre. In a word, appalling. As instructed by the sign at the entrance I waited to be shown to a table.
