I knew what ti expect from a Harvester. The ambiance was nice and our serving was top notch. The salad bar was really poor but it was pretty late, after 9pm and we were also told there were supply problems. Our meals were good and pretty much as expected. It was all we needed for a late evening meal.

Good customer service. Nice food. Good atmosphere. Plenty of parking. We arrived at 5 of us and got a good round table. 5 out 5. Many thanks.

The food was tasty. I had a blue cheese burger which I really enjoyed, I like the stronger flavoured cheeses on burgers and this is one of the nicest I've had. My one and only complaint would be it's not big enough. My daughter had the ribs which she also enjoyed and was more than she could handle after a starter. I helped out here and also enjoyed half of the ribs. The Belgian waffle with ice cream and toffee is now a favourite of mine .

Harvester generally tick most of the boxes. The service was super friendly. Food was good. Prices reasonable. Prices have gone up recently and some of the dishes are quite expensive for the quality. Overall facilities were clean and service friendly. Make sure you register your car for the car park when you enter or you will be fined.

Fantastic experience. Our server Jack was so polite and friendly. Jack was able to provide us with recommendations for our meal choices (which were all great!).

One of my favourite “go to” places for a great value full English breakfast, is the Bulldog Harvester, Ashford (Middlesex). You’ll find there’s a great team, who all really work together and look after their guests in a way that makes you want to return, time and time again. I don’t want to spotlight just one member, as that’s just not fair, and besides I’d get lynched for not remembering others. So, let me just say that my praise extends to the entire team, seen and unseen! If you weren’t aware, a Harvester full English comes with unlimited tea/coffee/toast, so for £7.98 per adult it’s a great deal. I’ve visited on many occasions, like the free onsite parking, find the staff to be really helpful and the food to be very good. I happen to make this particular Harvester, a place to meet for both business and pleasure, and include business training sessions in that group as well. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone.

Had an amazing time. Food was absolutely lovely. Our server was Jeanette and she was amazing too. She was on the ball and gave us everything we needed and more with such patience. Thank you Jeanette you really made our experience better. :)

Really good experience here. Our friendly waitress Hazel was extremely attentive and the wait time for food was really good (party of 6). Requests for fussy eaters all fulfilled. Night and day compared to our experience at a Beefeater the day before. Food very tasty and good value for money.

We came to lunch last June. We come again as we don’t know what we are having for lunch. The portion is big, but the food is disappointing. Onion ring is very oily. The burger is so dry. Sorry that we are not coming again. The stars are for the staffs.

The food was lovely. Service was unusually slow (but is normally fantastic). The lady who served us today was very pleasant and polite. Lots of parking spaces available with a screen to add your car details in, on arrival. The toilets and restaurant was very clean and tidy and all the staff looked happy.

Visited with my parents after years, so was really excited to have the salad! When we got there we was seated on a table which was very messy underneath our feet full of food. The table just felt dirty. The salad has gone downhill not like it was before, not much to choose from. The main was very nice though we had the sweet chilli chicken and was lovely, so was the waiters. But we then see children putting their hands in the salad to put it in their bowls, which just put us off the whole experience. Sad because we used to love it here years ago!

I would like to star by saying the service we received from 2 members of staff overall was fantastic both very polite and very helpful We sat down for our meal at 4pm So we order our drinks and our mains and made our way to the salad bar what was a little disappointing not much in each item and no pasta what so ever So our mains come Have to say the kids steak was cooked really well and my boy enjoyed it so much be cleaned his plate I ordered ribs what overall was happy with but both myself and my partner ordered dirty fries what overall let the meal down chips where undercooked for both of us and not really anything special and not really worth the price difference My partner ordered the chicken she said it was nicely cooked and overall she was happy with her meal Pudding I ordered the rocky horror on a waffle 1s again was really pleased with this maybe a little to much ice cream but that could be me being picky but I really enjoyed it Overall it is a nice place to go for dinner with the family friendly staff and overall not bad food

The food was great and the salad bar too, the staff weren't very friendly or welcoming at times we were contemplating to leave before we ordered our food but decided not too as it was my sons birthday meal, I think that if you have customers with big families like we had 12 people then make us feel as welcome as the smaller tables, the staff were quite moany and the lady told the children in our party to be quiet my mum had to pull her up and told her not to speak to them that way they are autistic and excited for food. It's not nice and it felt like it was too much for the staff to accommodate us.

The food was delicious and cooked beautifully. Our server was Lisa who was just lovely and personable. One thing we were disappointed with is the heating was on when we arrived (was very cold outside) but soon was turned off. The restaurant became quite chilly that we put our coats on. But apart from that a lovely evening

Afternoon stop off and was the best decision! Ample parking. Quick service to table. Salad bar and bread full. Food was fresh and hot. Was advised a 35 minute wait and probably came out in 20. Very impressed. Left full and happy.

Free parking on site no issue finding a space. We were greeted with a smile on arrival and given a table in a quiet area. Having settled in we were able to order drinks first and then food. Staff were polite, pleasant and informal so we felt looked after. We ordered a light dinner, jacket potato etc. The portions were generous and the food was fine. The nachos were delicious. The salad bar which Harvester promotes, was tasty if limited in the range. The cost was good value. We had a pleasant evening and I'm sure we will be back.

Always end up coming here for a cheap family meal and it never disappoints. The staff are friendly and service is quick. I always end up having the camembert tart and it's always great. The salad bar is solid and the addition of curried beans is nice too! Only reduced a star because the salad bar was a bit empty tho this time.

Didn't require to book in advance, which was great. The service was very slow, but the waitresses were lovely. Food didn't look great but tasted really good, especially the chicken. I especially liked the garlic coleslaw. It was delicious! Good value for money. Toilets are not very clean, and the toilet roll is one piece at a time, which is annoying!

Normally here for lunch/dinner but have come in for breakfast. We ordered a build-your-own-breakfast off the menu and it was great. Delicious food and reasonably priced. Definitely worth a visit. Served by a lovely woman called Hazel. Thank you Hazel and the harvester team. Keep up the good work and see you again soon.

Absolutely lovely food. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Service was a bit slow to get initially served, but the food was great. Also what was disappointing was 2 fish items on the menu were not available.

Worst food and drinks experience in a Harvester. I took my mum here for what we thought would be a nice evening meal but how wrong were we. Overall the service was very good but that's where it ended. The bread rolls on the salad bar tasted like they were a few days old and not fresh. My gin and tonic was served with an unopened bottle of tonic. No ice served in my mum's Diet Coke. The peas on both of our meals were bland and tasteless. The meals are definitely not worth the money. The Hungry Horse definitely wins hands down and yet the Harvester is meant to be better quality. Does the rump steak meal look like it's worth nearly £15 ? or £11 for the scampi ?

Always lovely staff here, reserved table on the app and popped in for a quick family dinner. Food was good as always, moderately priced and it was surprising quiet for the time of day. Started getting busier as we were leaving around half 6-7pm. To be fair can never be let down by a Harvesters!

Family lunch for 4 adults and a 2 year old. Lovely friendly welcome and taken to our table in a light and clean restaurant. Activity pack and high chair provided, included colouring sheet, crayons and finger puppets. Service was really good, thank you Shannon. Attentive but not invasive. Food was sooo good, nicely cooked and good size portions! Will be returning soon. 5* experience.

Would just like to say a massive thanks to everyone who worked the afternoon of the 24/3/22. We ( 14 of us ) came down from Sheffield and Derbyshire for a family funeral and chose this place to have food and drinks after. So glad we did, the staff were very attentive efficient and respectful, nothing was too much trouble. The food was amazing, tasty and great size portions. Thanks again

Our server was Jeanette and honestly we couldnt have asked for a more polite, attentive server. She was smiley, jolly and was always ready to cater to our needs. She even helped without being asked to when she saw me struggling to eat all of my meal, offering me a takeaway box. Fantastic service and the food as usual was yummy.

It's always a pleasure to dine here, the staff are always tentative, helpful, warm and friendly. On this occasion we were served by a lovely gent named Abdul who gave us the best advice as he explained to us on the portion sizes, that way food was not wasted and there was a little room left for a dessert to share! He also advised us to get the app to get access to offers! Thoroughly recommended. We will be back! :-D

Meh. I hadn't been to a Harvester in years and Sunday lunch at this place kind of summed up why. Went for a couple of tapas items (several menu items weren't available) and generally found the food to be on the bland side, although the calamari wasn't too bad. I'm partial to a potato salad as much as anyone else, but there's only so much of it that you can eat and the 'famous' unlimited salad bar turned out to be a real let down, scarce of any options – maybe because of covid I don’t know. Came in around 12 and the place was empty and devoid of any atmosphere. The front of house staff didn't seem particularly motived either, and you could hear them having a whine and a moan within earshot.

I used to love my breakfast at Harvester so today I decided to visit The Bulldog Harvester for my favourite Egg Benedict. When I got my order, the presentation was awful. It looked like someone just threw all products on the plate. Bad quality bacon was cold and eggs were cold and hard boiled, they were supposed to have runny middle as they are poached eggs. I am very disappointed and definitely not going back there any more. They lost their loyal costumer

😠 This is about Squire's cafe rather than the garden centre. In a word, appalling. As instructed by the sign at the entrance I waited to be shown to a table. While waiting, multiple staff members caught my eye and looked away, ignoring me. Finally, after about four minutes, a grumpy woman asked if sh...
