We were huge fans of the original Pasta Beach and loved the new restaurant! Every entree was delicious, especially the lobster. The service was insanely good and fast! It’s hard to find that lately. Our waitress, Abby, was so kind and fun. The busboys were super prompt and quick. It felt like everyone was communicating so well behind the scenes. So glad you guys are back! Only thing I would ask for is to return the giant spritzers :)

Overpriced, inauthentic - unlike the old PB (to which I had given a full, rockin' 5-stars) Fyi, they still have the old window claiming Neapolitan pizza verace, but they don't have pizza at all ... Just pinsa. 2 stars (not 1) because the octopus wasn't bad (but still... 20$ for 1 leg?). And then the tiramisu - nothing right here, the shape, the flavor, the presentation... what can i say... served in a soup plate, oozing diluted coffee (tasted like Nescafe...) with some unknown of crumble on top. I'm all for innovation in food but this really, really missed the mark. Makes me sad just to think about it :( Everyone in the party was disappointed.

It was my first time eating at Pasta Beach and the overall experience was incredible! The service was efficient and welcoming. Adam and Deanna (hope I spelled it correctly) had great attention to detail and were very knowledgeable about the menu. It was lovely to chat with them. The menu is carefully curated to give you a taste of traditional Italian cuisine in Boston and we were very satisfied. The venue was aesthetically pleasing to look at and the atmosphere was intimate. We can’t wait to come back and try more choices!

If you were a fan of the old Pasta Beach it is not the same! I don’t understand what happened but the new owners need to change their name. I was so excited to come back to this restaurant that I always enjoyed. It turned out to be a big disappointment. The food is far from anything that the original PB was. The Manager needs some serious training on how to be professional with customers. I could go on and on about my experience back. Try and see for yourself! They got my money once but won’t be seeing me again. All of these excellent reviews are from before they re opened in July of 2022.

Pasta Beach is a great Italian Restaurant. The Chef, Massimo is from Torino, North West Italia with family heritage from Napoli and Puglia, Central and Southern Italia. You can’t get more authentic than this. The Pasta, Pizza and Appetizers are fantastic and different from what you get at the North End which is more American-Italian. Some people don’t understand this and get surprised when dining at this restaurant. Their dishes are actually more tasteful and lighter than the typical Italian restaurant in America, or touristy restaurant in Italia that you might have experienced in the past. Also using your power of freedom of speech to ruin someone’s business and life by constantly giving 1-2 star reviews is not a very sophisticated thing to do. I absolutely have no affiliation with this business, just a client. Try the Ragu Romano with Pappardelle and Ox Tail and see what the original Romans used to eat, before they came to America.

The fried pasta was different but delicious. I also got a mocktail that was really good. Loved the vibe inside

I am always cautious ordering spaghetti carbonara when it’s on the menu due to 90% of Italian restaurants use an Alfredo sauce or add a little bit of heavy cream and even add onions and garlic. Having been to Italy multiple times and have had spaghetti carbonarain Rome, Milan and Florence . When I saw the dish on the menu and was told the chef is from Rome , I ordered it and I have to say , the spaghetti carbonara was prepared perfectly, very traditional and absolutely delicious. Actually the best I’ve had in the states and equal if not better then restaurants in Rome.

We wanted to love this place and were fans of the old PB. Came to try out the new version but had a disappointing experience. The ambiance was nice and the service was fine. However, the food was not good especially for the price: - Our cocktails were both really unappealing. - The pinse (flatbread) had solid bread but the toppings were cheap quality and bland. - Entrees were okay. The slow cooked beef was cooked fine but the sauce was bitter. The duck was good but for the price, we expected more. Sad to report that we would not return.

Carbonara is inedible: way too salty, not surprisingly given they use only pecorino. Parmesan is the main cheese in carbonara, pecorino can be added on top, if anything. The servers are very friendly though and accomodate requests.

We needed a quick bite before heading on our boat tour and this was the perfect place for us. It was a bit cool so we did not want to sit outside, but there was plenty of very nice outdoor seating available. The atmosphere was relaxed and the seating was very comfortable. Our server Riker was exceptional. She answered all of our questions about the wine list and worked with us to get the exact pizza that we were hoping for. It was a nice, calm spot for us to let down a bit before continuing our sightseeing in Boston.

I recently came here for dinner and frankly was quite disappointed. I did not love most of the dishes we ordered (my family disagrees, so it's known). Each of the things we tried felt off in one way or the other. There wasn't anything blatantly wrong with the dishes; I just thought they were bad dishes. Not to mention the price of 4 dishes and a side salad for 3 people came out to be around $60 per person! For starters, I enjoyed the side salad and warm focaccia. Let me get into the main dishes: the tagliatelle with lobster had very little flavor and the pasta itself tasted like store bought pasta. The lobster was fine, but it didn't do much for me (and on this, my family agreed). We tried the brussels sprouts pizza which sounded really good but I found it to be very confusing. I did not taste any gorgonzola on the pizza and the gooey cheese simply didn't taste like anything. In my opinion, the brussels sprouts with honey should have been it's own dish because that was the part I enjoyed the most! Putting it on pizza did not make sense to me. Third, the cheese ravioli had too much cheese in it. This isn't normally a complaint of mine but it overpowered the dish—this was probably the best main course, however. Lastly, the spaghetti with carbonara was far too rich so I could barely eat a single mouthful. I can't say I recommend this restaurant with all of the North End restaurants not too further up the street.

I didn't eat anything before having dinner here to fully enjoy dishes. I was soooo excited to have pasta, but what I got from here causeda severe stomachache. I think this happened due to imperfect hygiene. Table and dishes were not so clean and the tab water smelled bad (I felt it from my coke). Our pasta was delicious but cold. I heard the same complaint from our right next to our table. Couldn't accept the reason for high price. Two stars are for our server.

Enjoyed the delicious food. Service was excellent and was treated very special. We ordered dessert which was presented with a very special message which we had a small chat about our visit in Boston. Super great atmosphere.

Ordered all vegetarian options, loved the food, the service and the location. Best to get a reservation beforehand to avoid waiting for long during dinner time.

Great experience overall. The fried pasta appetizer is a must try. It was a true bummer that no bread was provided to the table. We paid $7 for a small piece of focaccia that didn’t even serve the table of 4. That small detail could have drastically improved our experience at this pasta beach location.

Chef Massimo is fantastic. He brings authentic Italian to Boston, something so rare I thought I would never find it. If anyone asks me for authentic Italian, I recommend Pasta Beach. Pricey, yes, but the ambiance and food alone is fantastic. A real hidden gem. I know the name is kitschy but look past that!! I do wish their desserts were stronger though.

Subpar pasta, undercooked. Asparagus was undercooked- before al dente. Octopus was good.

I am an Italian that recently moved to Boston for study. I've been seriously struggling to find an authentic Italian restaurant where I could enjoy the same quality of food I was used to in Italy, until I found Pasta Beach RW! I had dinner there some days ago and the experience was just incredible. They have recently renovated the location, which has an exquisite design. From the side focaccia, to the pastas and all the main courses, everything was delicious! At the end of the meal I've had the pleasure to chat with the chefs, they are all Italians with a staggering list of previous professional experiences in Italy, and I could really taste it in the dishes! Also the service was impeccable, they advised me a perfect wine match for my course. As an Italian, I strongly recommend this restaurant, I definitely put it way at the top of the Italian restaurants in the Boston area! Looking forward to visiting it again!

I’m a huge fan of the Pasta Beach in Newport, RI, so I was excited to try this location. Unfortunately, it fit right in with other Boston restaurants, overpriced and not amazing. First, the restaurant had a weird smell, second the women's bathroom was a mess (overflown toilet and wet floors!), third they didn’t tell us the sparkling/still water would cost extra so we were stuck with paying $20 for water. All of these things really set the scene for disappointment. The food was crazy expensive so we tried to not order a lot since we had just spent $20 on water. We got focaccia bread that was hard to eat, and two pasta dishes that were actually pretty good, but small. Overall, the entrees were overpriced by $5-$10 but still tastes good, so I guess that’s nice. Probably won’t come back, but I hope they improve!

The noodles were a bit undercooked which dampened the experience a bit. Flavors were still very good.

This place was amazing. I went with my mom basically by accident a few weeks ago (March 8). We didn't want to sit in Boston rush hour (or move our car from the garage), so we decided to kill some time by going to dinner. Pasta Beach happened to be around the corner from the aquarium so we walked over. I got the pasta bolognese. Ever since I went to Italy, I've been trying to explain what this phenomenal bolognese tasted like that I got in Rome. I took a bite, and I literally said "This is it. This is what it tasted like." I forgot to send my compliments to the chef, so hopefully this will do and someone lets them know that I was totally blown away. 🤩 Needless to say, I sought out the Providence location which is closer to home because of our experience here. Bravo!

Amazing pasta with very rich red sauce and excellent bread. Worth the time and we plan to eat there again.

Pasta beach is beautiful inside! Pictured below is their Prosciutto di Parma pizza! It tasted super fresh and amazing! Will definitely be visiting again!

Ordered pasta with Tagliatelle Bolognese and the portion was just right. The flavor was ok, but not outstanding. The other meals that we got, pepperoni pizza, spaghetti carbonara and cannelloni nettuno had big portions as well, and the flavors of the pasta dishes were delicious as well. Great little place, with seating at the bar or on the floor, able to hold conversation with your table, and was not overly loud.

We were stopping through Boston and decided to eat at Pasta Beach. The waiter was very knowledgable and helpful with food suggestions. If you like sweet wines, the Peach Miscoto is the wine to try! I loved each and everyone of our dishes! 10/10 on flavor! I wish we could visit more!
