Starting with the good things, the food was amazing. Really tasty and huge portions. Now for downsides. We waited an hour and a half for the food. Nobody warned us beforehand that it will take this long. We waited a lot for them to take our order as well. We stayed inside, next to the door, and nobody closed the door. 99% of the time, the door was open, in December. The tables are too close to one another. It is weird that they are short staffed and there are too many tables. A lot of customers asked for takeout because they were not willing to wait that long. It could be a great place if it had more staff or less tables.

One of the best burgers that I eat I've ordered double bacon burger and didn't regret it. The waiter (Costi) was so professional all along and recommended this to us. My gf had a chicken burger which was delicious as well. Much appreciated and highly recommend

The burger is so basic, nothing special at all. Ribs are amazing. No ketchup or BBQ sauce. Toilet sink is a joke. 1 napkin for a full rack of ribs... Gin and tonic is terrible, completly flat. Who ever decided to put a rack of ribs on soggy newspaper needs a new job

Experience was very good, visited this location for breakfast and lunch. Food was served fast, very good taste, burger was also very good. Buns were soft and fluffy, meat was well done, wedges soft inside and crispy on the outside. A little bit crowdy and not enough space at the terrace for all chairs, but overall it’s a good place to enjoy a nice meal. We were served by Ana Maria and Geo, they were very nice

A burger joint with a lot of creativity - seems like everything can be a (tasty) burger. Quite nice surprise with the telemea burger. The falafel burger was a bit dry, but ok nonetheless. Delicious potato wedges. Props for displaying calories next to each burger, and having full nutritional information on the menu (legal requirement, but well done). Takes courage to do that in a burger restaurant. Staff was very polite.

Well, DAMNNNNN. I just eat the best burgers from my whole life, 30 years old. And to be honest I eat a lot of burgers 🤣🤣. They are so mouth melting and huge. I highly recommend to take the recommendation from Adi, because he really knows what he's doing. To be fully honest I'd make Bucharest-Brasov once on month just for those burgers.

We decided to visit this restaurant for the third time. We order meat, Michi, potatoes, cocktails and lemonades. The food was great, we really enjoyed it. Cocktails and lemonades are delicious! We were served by Konstantin, he served at the highest level! Thank you, we will definitely be back!

We are just coming out of this restaurant with a lot of bitterness and sadness. Not because the food was bad, not because the environment was not lively. But it was due to the rudeness of the single girl. While entering the restaurant I was not able to open the door, she was sitting right behind it, but she never came forward and helped me. When we entered and sat on the table she approached us with a lot of attitude as if she was the customer and we were the waiters. She was arrogant, rude and racist. I was feeling extremely bad and had to ask her whether she is angry with me. In our last few days in Brasov we never faced such rude behavior as wherever we ate we were showered with love and hospitality. For this extremely arrogant behavior of the young girl we are going back with lots of bad memories. She is young. I hope she realize her mistake and work over it to overcome. Thank you

Been here with a good friend, we both wanted to eat a good burger and she came with the idea to come here. Good idea . We had The scarface Burger, yummyy. Nice staff, quick serving time and really good food. You can taste the freshness in the ingredients, the burger was juicy full of flavor , I'm going to come back here, for suuree. Very friendly, engaging owner and efficient, friendly enough, staff. Quiet rainy Wednesday evening late June 2023. Loved the "Scarface" burger! It was delicious. As were the generous side of potato wedges. Also a generous side of aioli mayo was fresh and tasty. Very nice red wine. The kitchen was also obliging to modify my burger slightly without any fuss. This is a big positive in terms of flexibility in customer service and, unfortunately, not experienced often enough in travelling throughout the country. The venue has a warm, pleasant aesthetic and decor with a 'gangster' theme. Outdoor seating is lovely with a beautiful view of the Brasov Council Square and the stunning "Black Church" (Saint Mary's). Great background music but a small negative in that it was a little too loud in the "background" (but not outrageously loud, like some venues, who sabotage your dining experience). A second OJBH is situated around the corner off the main tourist street. Good standards and consistency and pride has obviously been invested in this business by the owner. The fries were delicious, and the food looked very good. But the bun and the burger were very dry, and they tasted not good. We took the no. 5 burger with cheddar ring, the ring was very cool, but it was impossible to eat without getting it all over you, so be prepared for that. Also, the restaurant was full with only 2 waitresses outside, so we waited a lot for even getting a menus

Best English breakfast in town. The food tastes real and the presentation is good. Ribs and Burgers are also great. Prices are average, definitely worth it compared to some other places around.

While in Brasov we were in the mood for burgers and I must say, Old Jack’s didn’t disappoint! The Tommy Gun Burger was absolutely delicious!!! Our server was super nice, helped us heat some food for our toddler and helped us with the high chair and all the requests we had. If you are in the mood for a burger while in Brasov, Old Jack’s is definitely the place to eat

The best burger I've ever had! Omg this experience was the best! The quality of the food is incredible and the prices are very very good, especially for the quality you're getting! We had the Gatsby and the Pulled Pork burgers, you definitely have to try them!! The service was very good too! We visited the restaurant that's not on the main square. I really can't recommend this place enough!

A good find next to the dracula restaurant so easy to spot. Especially good for burgers and ribs. Small restaurant not many seats available maybe book in advance. Brasov has a nice shopping street with a mix of architecture, coffee shops pubs and restaurants. The ribs were so tender with a nice crunch on the outside and so tender on the inside. The mici was good. The chicken wings and dip were also good.

I had a wonderful breakfast sitting outside in the plaza. The fresh orange juice, hot latte, and yogurt with granola and fruit was healthy and delicious. Pleasant staff too!

Until 12 o'clock they have a Breakfast menu, after that, the best burgers and ribs I have ever tasted. It is my go to place for having Breakfast in Brașov. Here's a photo of the English one and lava cake. Very friendly and helpful staff! Would recommend.

Very satisfied with restaurant! I was most pleased with the size of the portions - the burgers are really huge! Each burger is served with a large portion of fried potatoes with sauce. On the photo you can see "Bonnie and Clyde" and "Don Carlyon" burgers. Also we ordered pepsi and beer - all together it turned out to be 135 lei (with 10 % tips) . For such a size of portions and speed of service, the price is excellent in my opinion. By the way, regarding the speed of service - during our visit there were no free seats in the restaurant, but the order was prepared after 15 minutes of waiting- super speed. Therefore, if you want to have a good time and eat your fill for ~ 50 lei per person, this is the place for you.

The waitress we had was such a breath of fresh air, she was so lovely and attentive. I talked my fiancé out of a 900g bacon and cheese feast and instead we ordered a steak and a standard cheese and bacon burger. The steak I asked for rare and it had to be the best one I've had in Romania, plump and juicy with a gorgeous mash on the side. The burger was a monster at even 400 to 500g . The coffee, lemonade and cocktails were also well made. Overall a very good experience

Super experience today for breakfast, amazing food and amazing atmosphere. The waiters were very friendly, especially Alex who went above and beyond to make our first time there perfect. PS, I recommend the toast with smoked salmon, guacamole and eggs, it was amazing and quite a large size I might add. Enjoy!

I am a big burger fan. I was really curious to check it out. The power went out, but we waited patiently. Boy, was it worth the wait! The waiter (Costi) was extremely polite and the food was damn juicy and good. Tried the Gentleman and the BBq ribs. You just have to try it for yourself. The prices were more than fair for the quality you get.

We had an excellent breakfast, the food was delicious, the place is clean and in a great location, the dishes are cheap and arrived quickly. Raul the waiter was very nice, we are tourists and we didn't understand everything and he patiently explained to us what we asked.

We were having a pleasant walk on the street, and this place took our attention since it was not crowded, the menu was full of tasty looking dishes, the atmosphere was also relaxing. After waiting a reasonable twenty minutes to get our order the first thing we’ve noticed were the French fries, they were dry and looked as if they were recooked about few times, not something you would expect, but expecting that everything was how it had to be cooked we enjoyed the meal. Everything besides the fries and the neck meat was delicious, the neck was close to medium rare without seasoning. The next day my boyfriend was expecting stomach issues all day and needed medical assistance, he never has stomach issues, after all day of torturing pain he is pale but gaining strength. If you have a strong stomach and an ambulance is close to you , you can probably go and enjoy everything because it looks attractive, if not the case you probably should avoid going there.

It was really tasty and Daria was a darling. Her recommendation was on my taste. Cozy place with good food, especially if you’re starving.
