A lovely place for a nice morning walk. There are plenty of paths that you can take either on foot or on a bike. Although the car park may be very busy with lots of people, once you start to get further out there is plenty of room and it can feel like you have the whole place to yourself. There are plenty of little sights and ponds where you can do a bit of birdwatching, or just enjoy nature at its finest.

One of my favourite places to bike, go for a walk or just be surrounded by nature. I’d highly recommend visiting here. You could literally spend an entire day here.

Stunning. Absolutely stunning. Perfect walk, nice trails, and only Β£3 ish for 4 hours parking which is great. Only just over Β£4 for all day. Perfect for a little picnic, and get away from the stress of life. Beautiful scenery all around. And, where 'The Dark Forest' is filmed in Harry Potter! Definitely going back!

Lovely place for the children to learn and to use their imagination and construction skills. They built a shelter, were superheroes and the elements; which provoked a lot of discussion as to who was the strongest!

Lovely scenic walks and cycle routs. There is specific mountain bike tracks aswell for different difficulties. Red track is for more advance bikers and is great fun to go on. Its been well made and looked after. We originally came here for a family bike ride However, it is very hilly and the little ones struggled alot. It's not flat and I'm not yet to see a lon straight flat. It's very up and down and I would not recommend biking for kids. It's fantastic for walks though and soo many footpaths and walks to go on. Every time I go I see a new route and new things to see.

Great place for riding mountain bikes and gravel bikes. Purpose built trails, green for the the little ones, blue for beginner and intermediate and a red one if you’re feeling a little more adventurous. Also a place to hire bikes if you need to.

Beautiful place with lots to do for the family or just on your own. Amazing facilities and staff on hand to help out. Loads of parking spaces. Great adventure playground for the kids or the big kid in you to try out if you are feeling brave enough. The grounds are massive so make sure you are know when you are going and how to get back because you could easily get lost. The lakes are breathtakingly beautiful.

A place we keep coming back to! Just beautiful no matter of the weather but catch the sun and it’s perfect! Great for a dog walk and amazing for mountain biking and trail riding They also have a visitor centre and lots to do for children Maybe avoid the coffee though, let’s just say it was hard to decide whether it was really bad tea or really really bad coffee (it was really really bad coffee lol)

Cheap parking, easy to get to, good place for kids to learn, teens to ride bikes and do other energetic outdoor experiences, dog walkers, family's, nature photographers. Hikers. Best to open maps on phone and pinpoint your car before you set off as not to get lost. Good place for picnics. Amazing scenery and paths to walk on. Go at your own pace, the further out you go the quieter it becomes

Miles of forest with MTB tracks consisting of green, blue, red trails each trail taylored to how experienced you are at riding, Green being the easiest and red for pro riders, shops, food area and kids park Inc go-ape, large car park and coach park, however this is pay and display parking around Β£3 for 4 hours.

Reasonable parking costs. Cafe does great coffee and again isn’t overpriced. Great trails and walks to explore. No maps were available so had to take a photo of the sign and navigate from there which wasn’t ideal. Overall, very peaceful and lovely trails. Would recommend.

Really lovely place to go for a good walk. Once you get by the car park/playground, it feels as if you have the place to yourself. The bike trails look like great fun although as walkers we were worried at some points that we’d get run over! We did struggle to park as we went on a weekend during school holidays, but easily found a space across the road in the Coral Reef car park and this was actually slightly cheaper in the end. We didn’t try out the cafe but it looked very well priced and was extremely popular. We will definitely be back again, this time with our dog!

I am a local and visit here almost every week. It is a beautiful forest, a great place to connect with nature and enjoy tranquillity. However, it is very concerning that Royal Estate has been aggressively engaged in de-forestation. Over the last 3-5 years tens of thousands of trees have been chopped off, over tens if not hundreds of acres of land. Some of the beauty spots with dense forest have been heartlessly destroyed by Royal Estate.

Beautiful scenery and a fantastic bike trail - I loved it. As of nature, the bike trail was quite rocky, so I would recommend a bike with front and rear suspension, I think you may be able to rent them. If you go (which I recommend), have fun!

Really nice please to come for a walk or cycle ride. Three mountain bike tracks to choose from and you can exit them at any point. Car parks can be very busy so get there early. Toilet was closed, which is disappointing given they serve drinks and food and it was very busy

Swinley forest is a great place for bikers of all ability with trails from greens to reds, flow trails and jumps, the bike hub there is also great as you can get all sorts of bikes for a good price, but if you bring your own bike the trails are free to use, I attached a video of one of the red flow/jump trails (I’m in front as my friend took the video) which is one of my favourites, great place for a day out πŸ‘

First time mtb at Swinley, car park rammed at 12 o'clock but once on the trails it was quite quiet, really good trails once you find them. Big puddles on trails which first time through can be unknown. Yes I will return, more fun in dry conditions I suspect.
