It's a hotel with delicious food, nice pool & sauna/jacuzzi, lovely view for the back side rooms, confy bed (the double one)...but...it is worn out. It is a kind of a mixture of nice amenities such as bathrobe, slippers, toiletries & cheap accessories. The staff is also a mixture of nice & rude...or rather uninformed. The food & good coffee adds a plus to all the other minuses. They serve both a carte & buffet style. We were a large group, so we had buffet, which was undoubtedly great. You could find everything you wished for & more, from traditional (jumari, slanina, zacusca, mamaliga) to modern dishes & au d'oeuvres (avocado devilled eggs on cream cheese filled canape, avocado/salmon salad, Caesar salad, potato au gratin, duck). Breakfast was also very varied, with all & more...except pancakes & waffles. The hotel has a nice location, close to the ski slope and hiking spots. It has plenty of parking lots too. Overall was a nice stay.

The place is situated close to the slopes which is a big advantage. The breakfast offers plenty of choice and the rooms are good size with nice viewd over the forest. If you look closer though you will be able to see that it is not the newest and the facilities are not necessarily very well taken care of. On the other hand Rizzo is not one of the most expensive hotels in Poiana Brasov either. Decent choice for what it offers.

Some personnel is friendly, some is not (very inflexible and not willing to help - for example we were asked to drink our coffee outside the restaurant because the breakfast time was over). They have a good band that plays nice and old romance music, but the sound is very loud that you can barely speak during dinner. As a side note, if you have an electric be car they don't have any option to help you recharge - not even a standard plug.

The place is very cozy, nice breakfast, I didn’t take picture. because of a big group of tourist waiting for the coffee. The rooms worth e every bit of those 4*. Me and my son tried to get to the little playground they had but got stuck into the little hidden swamp 😀😀. We had an adventure going there. The staff is young friendly kind and fast with everyones problems.

I would definitely stay again. Right in the heart of Poiana Brashov.

No heat in the room, no hot water, problems with the toilet installation, the hotel is very dirty

The restaurant managed to change my perceptions about my favorite food, 47 years of age. Excellent chef, you must bring someone to dinner here, thank me later 😊

The location if you're there to ski is amazing, for a jaunt to Brasov its a bit out the way. The service was good although dinner service was usually quite slow, you also pay at the end of your trip so be sure to take note of what you've eaten and the price! The rooms were nice and clean, plenty of space for 2. However the bathrooms were less than desirable, again it was big enough, the shower cubicle floor was very hard and pointy, felt like acupuncture and the bathroom.fan was duck taped.

It's a nice place with pool,sauna and jacuzzi. The rooms are clean (we stayed in an apartment on the 2nd floor). You have all you need for a nice accommodation with great breakfast.

Nice location, must be a good choice for the winter too (close to the ski lifts), just be aware of the bears if you go for a walk in the woods! Good rooms (with wooded furniture), great breakfast selection, wellness included in the price (with jacuzzi, pool and a sauna).

An excellent small hotel, although more suitable for winter, but also excellent for summer. Heated pool and nice jacuzzi. Excellent view and very nice receptionists. The breakfast is a bit repetitive every day but it is absolutely reasonable.

We had a very bad experience when we checked in at this hotel, we made the reservation on bookings by mistake a room for 1 person instead of two and they took advantage and charged double. Really poor client service, especially the manager's attitude, an old lady that skipped any training in modern hospitality. The hotel in rest is not bad but these kind of silly things really make the experience bad overall.

It is not a boutique hotel at least not a 4 star hotel. Rooms are good but shower is small and the toilet is so narrow, you can hardly sit. Food is terrible, breakfast has leftovers from the dinner and a lot of things missing. Staff is tired, don't fill the missing food. The receptionists are warm and welcome. Pool area is nice, water is a bit cold and the jucuzzi is not warm enough. Too bad, because the area is very nice.

Very good hotel, staff is friendly, huge rooms, every day clean fresh towels and the bed is organized, the location is very good 4 minutes walk to the nearest ski slope, the breakfast is fine! The pool and sauna are perfect for Finishing the day after skiing, the jacuzzi wasn't hot but it was still warmer than the pool! And plenty of parking just outside the hotel! Will come here back again

Very dissapointed: no spa, pool, hot tub. Why put them as facilities if you do not offer such things. At this price you can stay at the Silver Resort Poiana and all this facilities work even on covid. This is called false advertisement. Moreover, we are a smokers couple and not even a balcony is provided. Doesn't deserve more than 1 star. How can it be a 4 star hotel if the entrance sign is not fully illuminated. Is that expensive to change a neon on a 4 star hotel?

no proper drainage in the shower, cleanliness doubtful, no paper tissues...overall was not quite ok. they need to improve.

The pool it is really small and if you want to drink anything around 16 you can not until 18.30, the bar is closed... i would not recomend.

Well...there were cockroaches on the coffee stand, the room was not properly cleaned (a lost of dust and hair on the floor) + there was trash in the bin from the previous person who stayed in the same room + the ceiling fan didn't work+ the tv screen looked like somebody sneezed on it. The outside of the hotel doesn't look safe, they don't have the ISU certification (so in case something happens to you in that hotel, it's on you! ), The outside terrace looks horrible and the smell in the reception area is gross (something like mold...). Never again! Will consider making a complaint to the authorities because no 4 star hotel should look like this.

Rooms kinda dirty. Hole exterior of the building is degraded and seemed to need a renovation. Definetly not something up to the number of starts.
