Worst experience for almost a 3 star hotel/resort. No wifi,no drinks in the mini bar.room heater is not working properly, they need more swimming pools for the size of this resort and maybe deeper then 1.4m. Very high prices for what the resort really is. I stayed in 2 stars hotels witch were better and were offering much more then this resort. Overall a BAD CHOICE 👎

Overall, very nice hotel rooms & restaurant, it's pet friendly which is a great plus, but to reach the spa you need to go outside and the spa itself is tiny & their services are average at best.

Ridiculous. The service is inexistant. Wannabe luxurious complex which restaurant doesn’t even answer the phone to take a order or reservation. Swimming pool and spa open from 14 (?) accessible for 100 lei, maximum for 3 hours. And don’t ask to book massage as advertised on the website. They don’t have massage. Do not go there.

By far one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had in a resort. The price is astronomically high for the services provdided. We stayed there for 2 nights in January. It was horrible. We got rooms separated from our friends, even if we specifically asked for two rooms in close proximity when we called. They gave us a room at the 6th floor and one in the basement. After a lot of back and forth we received a room on the fifth floor, because at the resort apparently they do not have the same policy of offering the same thing as they offer over the phone. There was no manager available. The restaurant is a joke, the staff specifically told us that they do not have the same owner as the rooms we stayed in and they are doing their best to help us. There was a waiter who straight up refused to serve us, because “he did not feel like it”. There was no manager available. We asked for a manager 4 times, everytime we were refused or told there is no one available. We wasted our time and our money and received a compensation of 100 lei (20 eur). DO NOT GO THERE!

Horrible experience. This hotel management do not have any idea of the cleaning. The conditions of rooms are horrible and need repair. Heater in the room did not work. 150 eur for a night it was a scam. Restaurant prices are high and food was not delicious. SPA is another joke. A small pool and small sauna- hotel management it is spa center. 😂😂 First answer of hotel staff was “no, it is not included” after 5 mins of talk, they found that it is included. Manager of restaurant and spa (idk a woman) was rude. Totally do not recommend anyone, if you do not want to loose your money and nerves.

When we arived at the hotel, after the check-in , we found the room uncleaned. You can call the reception as long as you want, they won t answer or call back even if their life depended on it.After we informed the staff they laughed and we had to leave the room so it could be cleaned properly. High prices, but poor quality of service. Very very good breakfast, the only reason I it deserves 2 stars.

The complex is beautiful, well-kept, but the construction is poorly done, it is not soundproofed and you can hear any noise. No good sleep or relaxation here because of that, but mostly because of the tourists behaving like they are in the jungle…

I am very unhappy about their services, they are not friendly and the food is absolutely terrible. I felt very unwelcome and unwanted. I cannot say I felt properly on holiday. I do not reccommend.

The stay was pretty bad all things considered. Reading all the reviews nobody said anything about the fact that THE SPA IS IN ANOTHER BUILDING OTHER THAN THE ONE THAT YOU ARE ACTUALLY STAYING IN. YOU HAVE TO WALK IN THE COLD AFTER BEING IN THE WARM POOL! The only good thing about the entire experience was that the room was really big and bright and the food at breakfast was really good. This is the last time I grace their doorstep!

Resort & spa? What a joke?! Both swimming pools are bath tubs. The prices are obscene. Nothing to do, the service is terrible, it seems they hire waiters with mental disabilities, they forget everything unless they write it down. Disappointing on every aspect!

Prices are very high for what they offer in terms of services. We had to ask the reception to send someone to clean up and refresh our room AFTER 4 DAYS. During those 4 days they didn't even bother to knock or check with us if we need anything, like even elementary stuff like taking out the garbage. Views are nice, their restaurant was ok as well, pool / spa was ok

We had a 3-night booking which we have cancelled when we got there. The SPA is in a different building than the accommodation and this is not mentioned anywhere! Also some rooms look like a normal apartment, not a hotel. For the price they charge, I was definitely expecting more and we did actually find better alternatives in the city of Brasov.

The worst place to stay ! You pay for nothing ! They treat you horrible . No condition at all . We booked the whole stay for new year . We basically starved . The food is a dezaster . Everything comes cold no taste at all . And very expensive prices . I went with my kids to the swimming pool and the water was cold , jaccuzi cold aswell . We had no power for half hour , and in one room the heating was not working. On top of that the fire alarm started blarring for 5 minutes and no one was saying nothing . I would not recommend this place at all . Terrible experience .

If you’re looking for a place to relax and breath the mountain’s fresh air, this is the place. Inside pool, jacuzzi, spa, and fitness for indoor activities. An infinity pool and an amazing view- that’s what helped me choosing this resort. Nearby you will find Sergiana’s restaurant with authentic food. Perfect combination for a get-away!

The swimming pool was heated and nice, but easily gets overcrowded. The girls serving at swimming pool cocktails are very kind so they deserve 5 stars. At restaurant the food prices are really high compared with the quality of the products and expectation based on the price. The staff is really young and untrained, so the management is very poorly. We heard staff in the kitchen yelling at them too...so really not professional treating them bad. The location is nice but bears are coming during the night.The flat had really dirty sofas in the living room, and the bathrooms had issues with the shower.

Spa center (pool) in another building, 5 minutes walking. Restaurant in another building, 5 minutes walking. Going in and out through garage on a very ugly hallway. No phone coverage, no wi fi connection We needed to sleep at 17 degrees in the first night. After signaling the problem and informing that a partial refund should be applied (in a very diplomatical way), the manager rudely told us that they have the right to choose their clients and forced us to check out. It was one of the worst experiences ever. This is a 2 star location maximum. Avoid it!

Spa was cold, food was not a-la-carte( tinned humous , vegetables, chewy beef ). As for the breakfast kids over 6 pay full price . Customer service could improve a bit. Its a remote complex with not many things to do . I’ve seen better-do not recommend!

Amazing area, extremely quiet and clean; staff very polite and helpful, reasonable prices. The small infinity pool with the view to the mountains is a must

Not a pleasant experience. Gym has no weights and machines don't work. Staff are rude. To charge $25 and not offer drinking water at a place with sauna, gym etc is ludicrous.

We did not stayed on the hotel rooms of thw silver mountain, but we did use the spa. Considering that it is expensive we would expect to have: Warmer pools, even the jaccuzi was cold. A place to change, not in the middle of the bathroom. All the doors were open which for us with a baby was not so great. The food and coktails were just ok, not as good as the high price. From our good experience: the staff was welcoming, we received some towls and the wet sauna was great.

First thing we noticed was the lack of signs indicating where most of the things are, such as reception, parking, rooms, so you might spend some time looking for those. The reception is in the same building with the restaurant and SPA and you basically walk through the reception in your bathrobe to get to the pools lol. There is a locker area but it's a common area for both men and women. The pools are crowded and small considering the amount of people that can book rooms there. The famous infinity pool that is outside literally has 4 chairs. The water is very shallow (1 m 40 max). The elevators are somewhat possessed. The doors only close sometimes, you have to try a few times before they decide to close. The distance between the rooms and the area where the restaurant, spa and reception are is huge. You have to walk around 500-700 meters to get there. We booked a room for 2 and we only got one bathrobe and no towels, so I called the reception and they said they would send someone. Fast forward 4 hours later and after talking to 3 other people, we finally got them. The room we had did have a balcony, but from the bathroom. The bathroom was bigger than the room itself. The restaurant was nice and the good was good. Staff was friendly. Overall, ok experience, but I would not come back here.

What an amazing experience. Our stay here exceeded by far our expectations. We were looking online for a place to stay near Brasov and we came across this hotel. I read the reviews and even though some were pretty bad we decided to give it a go. What an experience... We like quiet places and this was perfect... Surrounded by trees we thought that this is the right place to relax after a long journey. The moment we stepped in the lobby we've been amazed by the cosy atmosphere and the nice smell. The reception staff were there to welcome us with a big smile on their faces. We booked a big family room and we received a free upgrade. I must say that after reading those reviews my expectations were pretty low but the room was just beautiful. The balcony was so big and everything was so clean. After the check in we went to try the Spa area. The outside pool had an amazing view and the water temperature was perfect. The saunas were great and again everything was so clean. The staff in this area was so welcoming and ready to help and always smiling. We also had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant which was very stilish and cosy. We sat outside at the beginning but it started to be quite chilly so a member of staff offered to accommodate us inside in order to enjoy our dinner. I am quite fussy about food but everything we ordered was just fresh and tasty. Breakfast was amazing as well. So many tasty dishes and cakes to choose from, plus freshly made pancakes with all the toppings, fruit, juices and coffee. Even though it was so busy the waiters were always making sure that everyone was happy. We travel a lot and we stayed in similar places before but this had something special. Maybe because we didn't expect any of that after reading some of the reviews. So if you read this and you are considering to stay here please give it a go. You won't be disappointed. Perfect rooms and kitchen, I like smart heating system in rooms. Disadvantages it is many ice front in of enter to block and location long to ski resort.

What can I say… The heat did not work and the windows were loose and the cold air kept coming inside. The furniture was old, cheap and too little for the living room. The spa was crowded and very loud, they did not offer any shoos for the pool, you had to bring your own. The lockers were small and even if they were separated, there was a man with his wife in the women’s locker… imagine getting changed there… when I wanted to leave the spa, the door next to the reception did not open unless someone from the reception opened it and I had to knock on the door until someone heard me. They are understaffed and a bit pretentious. Definitely not worth the money(1200 ron for 2 nights). I would definitely not recommend this hotel.

What an unpleasant experience! I do not recommend. The only thing that was nice, was the pool outside with the view from above. Customers who are not hotel guests, only get a towel included in the price: no slippers, no bath robe, no drinks. The steam bath & sauna smell after chlorine. The sauna is electric and was not hot enough, and there was no water bucket to be found inside. No salts or fragrances are provided. No value for the price.

Great location, good prices. A retreat in the middle of nature. Great room view over the hills. The breakfast was very good, one could find all kinds of food there. The personnel were very kind and always helpful. We had lunch there as well and it was delicious.

Nice location and room, with all utility you need . The owner is a helpfull one who look to assure all you need. But when a party started at night( 2:30 a.m), you are your own! No security, no reception man just you with your balls and the noisy people.

Compared to the prices in the city, Silver Mountain certainly has advantageous prices. But it's not a first-quality hotel as it seems in the presentation. It has at least 2 different outdoor buildings - the reception, the spa and the place to eat are separated to the rooms, and access is made outside through the cold. If you call from intercom - inter phone no one answers at the reception, also communication with the room service at the restaurant is almost impossible. The bed in it has the extra firm mattress and the uncomfortable pillows, I prefer tall beds with soft mattresses (but that's up to your preferences, not so relevant). The acces to balcony was from bathroom.. That's was pretty awkward. Also the rooms are pretty anxiously empty. For the most part, it is an acceptable nice hotel, certainly above any type of hostel (pensiune), but it is far from a quality one. That's because of the people who choose to stay here - noisy, messy and disturbing typologies of clients.

We had to cancel our reservation with them because we were informed the day before check in that we had to pay extra for the use of amenities/services (shared pool, shared hot tub and breakfast) that were listed as free at the time of our booking. Very misleading!

The SPA is not the best one with the price offer. The sauna was around 40 degrees when it is supposed to be 60+. The water in the pool smells very bad.

Nice restaurant recently renovated, a bit pricey for the remote location, they could have decent price and more customers will remain there in the complex and take dinner and lunch without going out in Poiana Brasov or Brasov downtown. So maybe someone from the owners will take my advice also offer a decent price for breakfast for people that rent in the complex apartment's. With 60 ron /persons for breakfast is a bit expensive, you will get a decent main course at dinner in a nice restaurant with this money.

The reservation team is not professional. I booked a room directly at the hotel and the reservation was valid till end of business day. Shortly after they called me and tried to force me to make the payment in 15 minutes if I want to keep the reservation, 3 hrs before the end of day. Also, they mentioned that the tariff they communicated at 10 a.m. is changing every hour so if I do not pay immediately they will change the price. I stopped here, I do not want to know how will be our stay at this priceless hotel. Not recommended.

Connection for pedestrians and/or cyclists to the centre of Polaina Brašov is missing. We wanted to walk to the town for dinners or to start our hike. We had to make our way through the forest. There can be easily added trails (suitable for bikes as well) through the forest to the town centre, but marking is missing. Same applies for the walking connection to the nearby Sergiana Restaurant (which is amazing) you can see it from the accommodation, but there is no path to walk to it. So we had to walk tough meadows and forests. Relying on cars to get you to destinations that are so near if you can walk there through beautiful nature makes no sense. Would be good if the owners discuss with the local government adding missing trails through the country side. This is what tourists want, walk, not drive.
