My review considers the room, service and the stay I had at the hotel. There are a number of good elements to the hotel. The location is brilliant it is next to centrum train station and a short walk to central Breda. Breakfast is nice with a choice of hot food and cereal. My room was 333 which was located at the back of the hotel. The train platform is directly at the back of the room which can be seen in the photo. As a result there is train noise when trains come and go from the station. You are required to ring when you want your room cleaned. When checking in they said the room would be cleaned every four nights however this is if you ring the front desk. I found the pillows to be uncomfortable and they seemed old. The air conditioning in my room did not work and the room could get stuffy and hot. I would describe the hotel as basic and in need of some care and love. The team at the hotel have a great attitude however they seem understaffed. I would not choose to stay here again.

The property is right beside the train station which is ultra-convenient. Clean, modern facilities. The room was spacious enough. The breakfast was good and varied. The staff very friendly at reception and some of the bar staff also exceptional. Good on you Ernst especially. Definitely would stay at this hotel again.

Excellent stay. Well-located, just a few steps from the train station. The breakfast is really good as well. Excellent mattress (more on the firmer side, but that's my preference too).

The new section of the hotel is very nice, the standard that is expected with the rates being charged. The room I had previously in the old section needs work to upgrade it to current standards and be worth the rates charged. Cleaning staff need more instructions on cleaning toilets, the one in the old section didn't appear to have been cleaned in months.

Lighting in the room is very dim, the bathroom curiously so. The aircon control seemed jammed (or locked to save energy?), but was not a major problem other than when I was in the room early one afternoon and it became very hot in the room. Well done on indicating there are stairs and they are freshly painted with carpet (too many hotels 'hide' the stairs and for the able, using the lift for one or two floors is ridiculous). Nice breakfast with excellent staff managing the breakfast room.

VERY OLD ROOMS!!! my 3 nights stay was quiet depressing. toilet was broken, the silicon joints in the bathroom were dirty. The mirror frame was damaged, etc etc Will definitely not come back to this hotel.

I felt cold in the room and hotel corridors. Breakfast was really nice and the room was also comfortable, but the fact it was cold in almost every place make the experience not so good.

Booking went quite fluent with the digital offers. The handover of our dossier between colleagues could have gone a bit better, as we were asked quite a few of the same questions again. Not a big deal of course, it's good to double check :-) When we arrived, we got a great reception for our group of 38 people and even those that didn't stay overnight! Personal direction to the reserved parking spots was really nice. As the organizer of our group stay, it was also nice to see a personal message together with some sweets in my room, thank you for that! The service at the bar and breakfast were great, the breakfast itself was excellent. And to end it all I got a proper invoice to use for my declaration after our stay. All in all, a perfect stay, keep it up! I will definitely recommend the hotel for future stays of my company, friends and family!

Must visit place in Bratislava. Extraordinary view of the river from top. Awesome piece of construction and ancient history with a beautiful view of the city.

Very nice hotel, staff were really friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was nice too. Considering how close it is to the rail lines too, it was quiet. I overlooked the tracks, and wasn't disturbed by them. Only downside was the room was a little dark, as only 3 lamps.

Room old and not clean, for a 178 € rate without breakfast not acceptable! The staff is nice and I had a warm welcome and checkout. This is the only reason for 3 stars rating - room would be 0.

Very clean, very good breakfast, friendly and polite staff. I was selected customer of the day (Deluxe room, snacks and Welcome pack) which made my welcome and night away from home very special.

People staff at the hotel were really kind and attention was incredible. I have gluten and milk intolerance and they provide me a very nice breakfast adapted to my situation. All was perfectly clean, all was very nice. Thank you!

Great hotel! Pets allowed on a fee, super friendly staff, delicious breakfast. Right besides the beautiful train station and 5 minutes walking to the city center. Rooms are spacious and well maintained.

Friendly staff, parking at hotel, bar and good hotel room. We got excellent service on second stay despite bar being closed. Uber food service, couple of drinks and night shift cleaning up remains and took worry away. Highly recommend this hotel. Definitely stay again (which we already did).

The staff at reception is very fine. Room is a bit noisy, air aconditioner machiche on bathroom is very noisy, even with door closed.

The friendly hospitality and the convenient position near the railway station and the city center make this hotel one of the best in town.

Broken experience in Breda! While we booked this place purely because of our previous pleasant experiences in other Leonardo hotels, this turned out to be a broken experience - thanks to the renovation work they were going through! There was no water in the room for a long time despite us calling and complaining more than a few times. The room and common areas were a lot more darker than desirable and felt depressing given the already gloomy weather. LOCATION: Located near the train station and a quick 10-minute walk away from the Old Quarter DINE + DRINK: Lobby level bar is cool but we didn't get to try the restaurant to comment on it. ROOM: We stayed in Room 202, so this review is based on that; SIZE: Spacious enough for 2 adults and simple baggage; VIEW: Random view of the building next door, that made the room even darker; AIR-CON: Perfectly functioning cooler than helped in setting the perfect room temperature; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part of putting us to sleep; BATHROOM: Bath Tub Shower; TOILETRIES: OK Quality toiletries FACILITIES: No Gym or Pool on site SERVICE: Friendly staff that took care of all our needs with a smile at home HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Free Wi-Fi that works well all over the property, and the speed is good! Hotel very well located close to Breda train station (1min walk) and from 10min walk from Breda City Center. Very well welcomed and the room is quite big. The only issue was the rain noise due to the train station being very close. Didn't have breakfast during my stay so cannot say anything about it. I liked the detox drink available at reception. Very refreshing

For this price range, the hotel did not really offer much. Rooms are small, facilities are pretty basic. What I really did not like about the rooms is the noise. We could hear every footstep of the room upstairs and whenever he or she dropped an item from a luggage. You can hear if people are closing doors or talking in the hall way... and the train passing by. For €125 a night, this is really below par.

The hotel is at a good location. The staff were helpful and cooperative. I'd stayed at the Apollo Hotel in Papendrecht last month, and was quite impressed with the extensive breakfast and a super cool room thus my expectations were pretty high. I was tad disappointed at the breakfast served. The bed and pillows were too soft for me - but that is a personal opinion. All in all, absolutely recommend Apollo.

The rooms were big, unfortunately bathroom looked quite dirty. Staff was really kind, helpful and professional. For 4 stars Hotel I was missing some extras like pool or sauna.

We had a clean room, but very small. For the same price as other customers that had a bigger and nicer room. And stayed there the same night. The staff confirmed that it was the way it worked.

Great hotel for a few days stay in breda. Great breakfast buffet, they had everything you can wish for. Rooms are spacious and the bathroom was great. Just 4 stars because the room was very dusty. Maybe due to Corona and lack of guests. But it would have been nice if they had cleaned again before arrival. We would definitely stay there again.

This is a nice hotel. Biggest assets: the location is really central, close to the city center, the room is big enough and looks nice, staff is friendly and breakfast is really tasty and of good quality. Downsides: the location is right next to the trainstation, which means you will here trainrelated sounds inside the room, even with the windows closed. Because I always sleep with earplugs it didn’t affect my sleep though. Also, showering makes the bathroom completely wet, due to a design flaw of the bathroom. All in all I would recommend this place if you don’t mind the trainrelated sounds or are used to sleeping with earplugs like me!

We had to cancel our trip and they refunded us for the rest of the stay. The location is excellent: Next to the railway station and a short walk from the city centre.

The bathroom (shower wall) was old and dirty. The key was not working. Breakfast and service was really good however.

Very well located but i stayed for three nights and never was there any cleaning in my room. Dirty glasses, empty paper towel box, beds not made. I understand not getting clean sheet and towels every day, but no cleaning at all is not what you expect from a 4 star hotel. Friendly staf, nice bar, good restaurant though.

We were enjoying staying at this place. Good food, great customer service, quiet atmosphere around and very convenient location walking distance to the train station and beautiful parking area. The only complane is that parking comes as extra charge and is very limited. The web site information suppose to mention it somehow. We are from US and never had experience with that conditions. It always free of charge for the parking if you booking room. Other than that, everything was good. Thank you.

The facilities were good, but I have to highlight the great staff and how they care for the wellbeing of the guests, at least I experienced that. I travel a lot and I can't remember such a wonderful staff.

The hotel upgraded my room which was great after an international travel. It is quiet, conveniently located and supereasy check in and out procedure.
