I have never been there but I heard stories about this place on social media. I'm not trying to spoil everybody recreational fun. By all means enjoy yourselves. But please do not walk alone, always be with someone. Last November a young girl was out jogging with her family member. They somehow split up. The young lady was walking along someone came up from behind her . Grabbed her from behind pulled up in those woods rapped and killed her. This happen in Midlothian Meadow's Forest Preserve.. Be safe and don't be alone. They have not caught this guy yet so be careful.

Very nice trail loop with pathways into the trees. Well, kept and marked with trail markers. Nice parking area as well. Good for midday lunch walks.

Lovely place to go on a walk or run! I used to come here everyday and I'm going to start again. The main trail is a big circle for about 2.5 miles with some inclines and declines so it's great exercise for someone who wants to see some nature and take a break from the gym. In certain spots there are beetles and flying insects so be mindful. Beautiful location.

Well, it's certainly a meadow. Very flat and open tall grassy fields if you journey off paths. I visited late winter. Very clean. Lots of moss if you're a moss lover.

Normally my Midlothian Meadows experience is a 4-5 Star rating. Tuesday July 13 2021 was not that way. There was a crew maintaining the grounds. One crew member was considerate of the walkers, as we walked he stopped cutting until we cleared his position, however there was another one who cut grass as we tried to walk the trail. After he cut the we had to fight mosquitoes.... It was as if the mosquitoes were attacking us. It was so bad we had to leave the trail and walk down Pulaski back to the parking lot to our car.... Today we are nursing our wounds with Neosporin and rubbing alcohol!!!

A good 3 mile loop with changing scenery. The only downside is you can always hear the cars driving by at certain spots on the trail. Paved paths. No changing slopes. Plenty of parking.

This is a very nice park well maintained by the park district. We played a temporary disc golf course put on by Discgolf Chicago. This park could have a great disc course if the park district wanted to utilize this space.

We like the Forest Preserve trails, and wanted to branch out a little from our routine. This was a pleasant and easy walk. We were on the north side near the railroad. The weather was a little iffy, so we didn't go far. But even though we could hear the nearby traffic on road and rail, we felt like we were in deep woods. We will come back!

Quiet clearly marked 2mile trail traveled by joggers, bikers, families walking at a leisurely pace. Deers emerged at sundown crossing the parking areas slowly.

Very good place to walk and bike. If you have a fear of frogs or coyotes or deer or snakes then this place isn't for you.

A nice place to get in a walk, run or bike ride. Nice wooded area to keep you cool while getting some outdoor exercise.

beautiful large nature preserve. longest walking path of parks I've visited. I was actually concerned about getting lost, with all the tall trees and grass on either side of the path. according to Google the path is 2.8 miles long, and i believe it's every inch of it.

These are photos I've taken with the Friends of the Indian Boundary Prairies Club. A nice group I've been in. Picking up trash and sticks to keep the prairies clean and healthy, and having meetings once a month discussing new ways to keep nature safe.

Peaceful and quiet space to walk, read, bike ride, jog or just relax. Nice walking trail that is just over a 2 mile loop or longer if you want to trek out further west. Bring a mini cooler and make a day of it. Super relaxing.

I Go Here Everyday To Go Jogging and Path is 2.5 Miles . Everyone is Nice and Respectful. I See People Waking there Dogs Or Riding there Bikes Here. A lot of Parking . It’s a great place to have a picnic. Or to Chill on the bench with your girl or your homies. Beautiful Scenery. When I jog here I always see Cardinals and once a blue jay. And Once time I see a Turtle. But overall this is a great place . Very safe environment.

👍 It's not as creepy and interesting as it was - now maintained and landscaped, grass cut weekly, no more wildflowers or vines. Some very rude tour companies have tours on many weekends and act like they own the place. Park across in Rubio Woods. The path to the cemetery is West of the big cell tower...
