Was walking past this mouth watering display of sugary goodness and HAD to stop in and try a treat! Absolutely gorgeous variety of cupcakes, pasteries, slices and salads. The service staff were wearing cute matching white aprons, were neatly presented and were exceptionally friendly which added to the speciality of the experience walking into this store. The cupcake 🧁 we tried was moist, creamy and got me salivating even before I tasted it. What a devine little real foods store and I can not wait to go back and try other delectable delights which grace the shop window.

One of the best salad places around Albion that is not hidden behind copious amounts of mayo and shredded lettuce. You could taste each flavour component which Botanica Real Food strives to project through the quality of ingredients used. The sweet treats are to die for too especially the toasted coconut individual bar cakes, toasty coconuty goodness. How can it be this good being gluten free and vegan?!!! Botanica Real Food allows me to indulge fully without any guilt 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 Service is gold, friendly and attentive as always.

This is a special little modern takeaway salad and dessert bar, the deco is very contemporary, the staff were very welcoming and the ordering process was easy as there weren't too many types of salad, but all of them are delicious! Especially love the kale salad. The salad bar was very busy when we were there on a Sunday morning, none of the customers ordered any from the dessert bar, maybe it was too early? I have never tried their sweets, maybe I should try it next time.

Want 3-4 incredible salads for a dinner party without having to do all the work of shopping for ingredients, washing and preparing, chopping, cooking and cooling pasta/couscous/rice? I visit this place every time I go to Brisbane. Last time I just bought a box of salad for my return trip on the plane, intending to save some for my return, but ended up finishing it all. Their pastries and dessert items are amazing as well. Please open up a shop in Cairns!! I’ll buy from it at least 3 times a week, I swear! There’s a noticeable gap in the market for something like this up here.

I felt healthier just walking into this little shop and seeing the amazing bounty of different platters of salads piled high (all plant based)! There were around 7 salads to choose from and I selected the shaved broccoli, ancient grains, brown rice and pumpkin, and eggplant salads. They were all packed up in a take home box. They were super fresh, great quality, had great flavours, and were very satisfying. While my focus was on the salads, it was impossible to miss the range of beautiful small cakes set out in the window. All looked lovingly made with very enticing options that I could not pass up. I bought a crumble slice with ricotta that was so good with a cup of tea. The staff are all lovely and are very efficient. It's all takeaway.

My incredible and absolutely delicious lunch. @botanicarealfood has been on my list for ages now and l finally got a chance to try it. Some of the best salads and quiche l've ever had and of course l had to try their muffins which not only looked amazing but tasted even better.

Delicious, healthy and fresh! I had heard about Botanica many times through colleagues who had been raving about it. So when I realized we had moved just a couple of blocks from it I was quite excited, and my oh my the excitement was absolutely justified. In the window front they have a display of perfectly delectable and creatively flavored little cakes and baked desserts and when you walk in you are presented with 7 stunningly looking piles of goodness. You have the choice between a small (max 4 salads), medium (max 5 salads) or large box. We usually get a small box and find it feeds 2 of us for lunch (it's about 2 decent plates of salad), and for ~$12 that makes a pretty cheap lunch!!! Even though I am quite a fussy eater, I find every single salad and dessert absolutely divine. I do recommend to avoid lunch hours though (11.30am-1pm) as Botanica's delicious flavors attract quite a few local professionals on their lunch break. In particular, if you would like to experience their mouth-watering savory tarts, you best get there before lunch. Equally, if you would like to share this tasty food experience with your family on Christmas day, I really recommend getting in first thing. The line last year was 200 meters long - driving past it was an event in itself ^^. Any other time, service is fantastically swift and staff are very friendly. Botanica real foods is an absolute must for any foodie or anyone looking to swap their junk food take out for a deliciously healthy alternative.

Very good salads. Not the best I've had but really good. I can't wait to go back. I recommend the broccoli salad and the cous cous. The chicken pea salad gets a bit hard going after a while. I would have loved to try their tarts too. I'll be back.

Food is great. A bit on the pricey side. I'd never been here before and the staff were a little on the unhelpful side - but the food made up for it.

Pricy salads

I enjoy the salads here generally. However, 4 out of 5 times they have sold out of quiches regardless of when I go - today it was early lunchtime (1215pm) and they had sold out - this is an excellent protein source to have with the salad. It would be great if there were some more protein items - dairy sauces and a few chickpeas and nuts in the salads don’t cut it sorry! I need to go and find another place between my shifts for protein because the salads don’t have enough. Please either make more quiches or something else protein rich. It’s otherwise a great healthy option while out and busy!

Really lovely vegetarian food (salads and sweet treats) and friendly staff who talk you through the dishes on offer with patience and enthusiasm. Portions feel generous and ample for us. We have had leftovers on the medium box which have served one or two extra meals and we are two adults and a 3.5yr old.

Great product but shocking service. Been here a couple of times and the serving staff have been completely disinterested on both occasions. Asking about what salads are on offer is akin to requesting if its ok to pull their teeth. I'm sure the girls think they've reached the pinacle of their careers in serving salads in Red Hill but they need a reality check. If answering what salads are on offer is such an ordeal, may I suggest management places a sign written on chalk board so that the girls aren't too strained? Was tempted to give a one star rating but the salads are quite good.

Love Botanica so much. Drive all the way from the Sunny Coast sometimes to eat their delightful vegan food.

Seriously best salads ever. Get a family box with a bit of every salad and it’s a perfect meal for 4-5 people, no meat or side required. Or buy single boxes of a salad for an event or occasion. We get a family box regularly as an alternative to take-out and it’s super healthy. You feel fantastic after eating this healthy, delicious food. Choose the chick pea in the mix and it’s the perfect protein. Such a fabulous business! Love it!

Nice place. Good salads. Can’t speak to much else, but the salads were nice. The customer area was a touch small, though, and it was actually pretty confusing as to how we were all supposed to order. But, being a bunch of cool and casual Aussies (my autocorrect initially wished to write “sausages”), we figured it out. Anyway. There is a very nice broccoli salad which I recommend. The others were very good, but the broccoli? Ai! Fabulous

The quality ingredients and creative recipes at Botanica make for the best quality salads you can find in Brisbane. When short on time, we often collect a large salad for $27.50, which is the perfect complement to a dinner party or barbecue.

Delicious salad, with a wide variety and all of it vegetarian or vegan. The portions are good value for the price. The vegan brownies are a particular stand out. One time I bought the entire tray to distribute to friends! This is my go to healthy option in the Paddington and Red Hill area.

Always great quality and presentation but the salads have stagnated for years and the brownies sell out way too quickly - so i’ve made many trips for no reason. At some point that’s on me but is very silly on Botanica’s part to leave money on the table like that. So either they’re wasting my time to artificially maintain product scarcity or just can’t do math.

This place is great. Creative salad making is not exactly my strong suit, so being able to rely on these guys is great. Always a good variety of options on offer! Amazing that theres not more places like this around town!

When you want a healthy option and feel like bright, colourful and beautiful salads, this place never disappoints. We often by a Family pack of four different salads and that will feed two people for four meals… and the price is unbeatable at around $35! They also do small cakes and baked good which are super delicious and very pretty.

Very disappointing service. Arrived at 9.30am to purchase a small salad, 3 desserts and a full savory flan. Was told flans don't arrive till 10.30 by a very pleasant staff member who asked how many pieces I wanted. I told her I wanted a full flan, so paid the $34 or $36 for it upfront along with other items to return later to collect the flan. Arrived around 11.30, queued for 20 mins and received the flan in two boxes already cut up. I wanted a full flan which I paid for bit they had none left. I get home to find I have 3 end pieces so extra pastry and less filling. Thats pretty dodgy and a terrible way to treat a customer who has prepaid. Feel completely ripped off. Won't be returning.

Younger staff member treated my elderly mother with absolute disdain & arrogance for daring to ask about the baked items in the window. None of the items are labelled so you have to ask. I've been here dozens of times over the years and never had an issue, so I was really surprised at the abysmal attitude displayed. Visited midafternoon on Tue 25/10/22. Happy to remove the review once the owner sees this & responds.

The most amazing nourishing food, beautiful treats and wonderful service from the Teneriffe store! I don’t often give reviews but this is definitely worth it! I called the store to order, paid over the phone and we dropped in to pick it up. It was friendly, efficient and the quality of the food was absolutely fabulous! Thank you for helping to make our picnic one to remember with your amazing service and food. We will definitely be back for more.

The savoury tart, cupcakes and coconut cake were delicious! Carrot cake was ok. Service was ok, there were only 2 of us in the store and 2 attendants, unfortunately the guy that served me asked what I'd like then walked away when I was telling him my order....came back and started messing around with the cakes, after about 3 minutes he realised he'd asked me and then walked off....odd hahaha

Incredibly popular business in Red hill. Amazing vegetarian salads and pastries. Everything is fresh and incredibly tasty. Friendly staff who pack a lot of salad into the size of the boxes. Our favourite was the broccoli and cranberry salad but the carrot and chickpea was a very close second. Highly recommend.

I’m a bit over retailers going “cashless” in the guise of “risk minimisation” when they don’t wear masks. I’ve nothing against not wearing masks but breath is riskier than money. The real reason I suspect is convenience for them and not the customer. Cash is legal tender. Full stop.

Wide variety of tasty salads and desserts. Highly recommend giving the salads a go, I would not normally recommend salad... but I'll make an exception for these guys. Huge selection of desserts also on offer, and the prices for both the salads and desserts are reasonable.

The original birthplace (most birthplaces tend to be the original) of a Brisbane gem - Botanica - that has, since I moved to this big city of fairy lights, been dishing up freshly-prepared, generously-sized, flavoursome, wholesome and hearty salads and other treats (admittedly, I've never tried the treats) in a classy, clean and characterful space. Some local philistines accuse Botanica behind its back of not rotating its varieties of salad enough (there are about 6 or so to choose from at any given time), but that would be like Jennifer Hawkins' husband asking her to wear a Susan Boyle mask, just for a change. I personally recommend the broccoli coleslaw-style one, the eggplant and barley one, and the carrots and quinoa one. A small box is a filling lunch for one (and I'm a big hunk of manly man). There's no seating, so get your chocka-block-full box of salad and move it along, buddy - but I keep coming back and you probably will too.

This is one of the most delicious and fresh salad I've ever tasted around Red Hill. Most recommended salads and cup cakes that will satisfy your cravings.

Amazing vegetarian salads for a reasonable price. I especially loved the quinoa salad with sultanas and almonds! The broccoli salad with cashew dressing was also superb! I only paid $ 12 for a small container, and it was almost too much food for me. I can’t wait to try the blueberry and lemon cake I bought with the salads. The store is very pretty and the staff was very helpful too. Highly recommended!
