Loved the vibe of this bar. The bartenders were super friendly. The food was pretty good, had a bratwurst sandwich (pictured) and a side of homemade potato salad. Good beer selection. Would definitely come back here. Pretty close to Fenway.

Food was subpar, asked for the California burger with a side of mash. Burger was what you’d expect at a fast food join with just a bit fresher ingredients. The mash was obviously instant but resembled with look and consistency of “mammal sauce” to say I was repulsed by it wouldn’t be giving it enough credit. 🤢 Edit: went back to give it a second shot since my friends were meeting there. I proceeded to eat my disappointing food, and as I’m trying to leave they are trying to say they would not let me close out my own tab as they joined us all together. I asked them to separate the tab and he points to some little as piece of paper that says they don’t separate group tabs. To say this was an inconvenience is saying to little. I was already annoyed by the poor food again. Just to be held up by an asinine “policy”. I wouldn’t go near this place if you expect quality service or anyone who cares about you. Beyond sideway about this, will never go back and will continue to tell everyone I see in Boston to stay away. Horrible service, horrible food. *****stay away******

An amazing watering hole tucked away in a corner behind construction barriers. Cheap and delicious food, amazing choclatini's and wonderfully patient staff, you want to visit this place atleast once if you're in Boston!

Really fun place. “Dive Bar” with excellent beer selection on tap, wonderful service, lively and friendly customers, and a truly “lived in” ambiance that is comfortable and intriguing the moment you walk in. Despite better by long and narrow of a space, fully crowded, acoustics still allow conversation without shouting. If you are downtown Boston at night and want a beer and pub food, highly recommend.

Great place for American Classic food. Burgers a plenty. Really good gritty vibe steps off of Boylston Street. Perfect place to grab a bite and drink before heading to near by Berkley Performance Center, Symphony Hall or on your way to Fenway.

What a great little place for a beer and a burger. If you blink you'll miss it. I love these great little finds.

The place was very packed when I visited despite that I was able to find a spot at the bar. The drink selection was OK though the musical choice could improve. It's a fun little spot check it out As of when I visited the mask mandate was still in effect so the workers are flowing all proper pandemic restrictions and tasks to keep the place safe to visit for all guests

A dive in the best sense of the word. A perfect atmosphere, good beer selection, and friendly staff. The food isn't anything fancy, but it's great. (Despite the name, the White Trash Cheese sauce is phenomenal.)

Great little hole-in-the-wall tavern in the Back Bay area of Boston. Have gone there a few times before musical performances at Berklee and MGM (Fenway), both within walking distance. It's a thin little sliver of a place, which is part of its charm. The beer selection is nice, and the food is surprisingly good. On the recommendation of our server, I tried the chicken tenders and would definitely recommend, they were fantastic. The service was fine - no frills. A fun Boston hang; will definitely return on my next visit.

Very nice small dive bar. Massive selection of beers. Service was very good. We got our food extremely fast despite the bar being full. Food was exactly what you need when you're having a night out drinking. Would deff return.

Super divey in the best ways possible. The food is solid and just what you want after a few beers, of which there was a great selection. The staff was also great, and not to packed when I was there. Definitely going back.

Loved this place. Great vibe, music was perfect, everyone was chill, service was good. I’m not from around here and was looking for somewhere more low key than the fancy places up the street. This place didn’t disappoint! Will probably be my go to bar when I come back.

So this place is a HOLE in the wall. However, this is not a bad thing in the least. I ordered the bacon cheese burger and fries. Normally I do not like fries (don't judge me I am not a fry guy). These fries were perfect. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The burger was cooked perfectly and seasoned (it is amazing how many places don't do that anymore). The music here is very eclectic and played on a record player (how cool is that). This is a must stop for a drink and some food good.

This is my favorite bar in Boston after 5 years. Unassuming Irish kinda pub. There is only beer, no spirits, great food, and great drinks. You will walk over the highway to find a tiny red facade with four curved lights and Bukowski Tavern spelled out in big yellow font. It may not be wide, but the bar is long with plenty of bar stools and tables for around 40-50 people. Stickers line the back wall behind the bar. Make sure you bring some to add to the collage. Mugs hang from the ceiling, and they only play vinyl. If you are feeling adventurous, spin the wheel for a random drink. My friends and I play games to see who has to spin. The staff is always wonderful, adding to the conversation and keeping things lively.

Cute place, decent food. The staff (bartender and waiter) were not friendly or warm in the slightest bit… but I guess that’s part of the charm? I sort of left with my head hanging low.

Very good selection of beers on tap and bottles. Food does the job. Atmosphere is outstanding, narrow and long, eclectic music and charismatic staff. Nothing really compares in the area.

The place was pretty packed when we got there, but we got service pretty fast. The folks working here are nice and the beers pretty good too. I will say the building's kind of narrow so if you've got a big bag maybe leave it elsewhere before you go otherwise you're going to be banging it in to people.

This'll float your boat any time of day. • Zero ale, zero cals, zero carbs... with a big splash of flavor that's crisp, zingy, and hoppily refreshing. What’s in a the bar? Nothing and everything. Dive in or not, up to you

Great place to grab a beer or four. Well curated tap list plus a great bottle collection. Atmosphere is incredible, and they play great vinyl too. The food's not bad.

I wanted to like this place a lot, as I do enjoy the atmosphere, awesome beer selection, and really cool vibe with the staff playing old records. There’s always some good music playing. The downside to this place is how rude the bartenders are. They are seemingly rude for no reason whatsoever, and that’s not how business is done. I would have kept going back again and again, but I can’t spend my money somewhere where I’m not respected

Nice little dive outside the back bay. Really great attentive service. The food was better than expected. We got the tater tots (RIP Lower Depths) and chicken fingers, really tasty. Pretty solid beer list. Only negatives were one credit card per table and we had 5 people and the music was a bit loud. I used to go to the location in Inman (rip) but now it’s only this one. I will come by next time I’m in the area!

Cool beatnik like vibe at this little dark bar in Back Bay of Boston. They play vinyl behind the bar. Great beer and nice little menu to boot! Even serve vegan food! You can get your own mug to hang up top the bar with your favorite dead author inscribed:) cheers!

Not worth the hype. $20 to park in the parking garage, they only serve beer, limited ciders and wine. Limited food menu that was just ok. Small quaint dive bar but nothing to write home about. Hoping for stickers or something other than a black shirt. Could have saved time in traffic and not gone here. Bartender was very blah as well.

The food and atmosphere were good, but the service was unfriendly. I thought we grew out of the - too cool for school - bartender mentality in the 90s. Wasn’t that busy, but I had to get their attention and ask for every single thing. The whole vibe is that they are doing you a favor.

When I die, bring a third of my ashes here and flush em. I absolutely love the vinyl behind the bar, I love the drawings of Burroughs, and Hank bless those tater tots!!! Great dive with zero danger- takes some of the fun out but it WAS a bit nice to not worry for a change. Wonderful bartender, great product knowledge. Be home soon, Hank..

Perfect. If you are in the area, check them out... great burgers, good beer selection, Jimmy the bartender is great. Other reviews say cash only, but they do accept Visa and Mastercard. Well worth checking out for an old school pub. The type of place where you can sit at the bar, have a few pints and make some single serving friends :-)

Staff was very friendly and prices are incredibly fair! It was nice to see so many different breweries across the country represented. The food is for sure "bar" food but its decently priced/cheap therefore it's great in my book.

Our favorite bar. Always great to sit at the counter and share a drink with a friend. Everything here is delicious, hot, and fresh from the kitchen. Get the Kenmore tots! Great food, different drink selection every time we come.

My favorite hole-in-the-wall bar. Over a hundred different beers on the menu, and good food too. Full disclosure: fifteen years ago I joined the mug club by drinking every beer on the menu, and have lifetime access to the big mugs.

Not for the faint of heart! Not a great Guinness, but excellent atmosphere and great music.

Outstanding burgers. I work across the street and for the last few days have been sending all of the marathon runners and their family who are looking for a great burger place. The service is also top notch.

I loved the vibe of this place, a cozy, laid-back, hole-in-the-wall bar. Prices are CHEAP! Don't expect gourmet food, though. My friend and I tried the White Trash Poutine, and it was pretty good. The dish consisted of tater tots, some sort of melted cheese, jalepeños and gravy--nothing fancy. Worth noting is the beer selection. They've got a whole host of beers from local breweries availible, and the prices are reasonable. They offer a full 16oz size and an 8oz snack size for about half the price. So, if you're looking to try some different types of beer, this is a good place to do so!

Love this place! Bukowski has been a regular stop for me both before and after Red Sox games. Great food, awesome beer selection, cool setting, super nice and competent staff... what else could you ask for? I also want to say a heartfelt thank you to the managers and staff for holding and returning a shopping bag full of souvenirs that I accidentally left behind. They were super busy but still took the time to hang on to my stuff so I could pick it up the next day. Thank you!

The atmosphere here was off the charts. Music is a bit loud, but all around feel was great, wasn't stuffy or overwhelming 5 starts. Excellent service. It's nice when a bartender can pick a beer out for you, and it work 5 stars. The food was perfect. Everything came out in a very timely manner for how busy it was, and it was all delicious. 5 stars All around amazing place to be. Well worth it. Definitely will be going back.

I don't live in Boston, but I like to come here when I visit for work. It's super chill. Very nice people working here. The music is amazing. It's the perfect dive bar. I'll be back for sure. Maybe even tomorrow before my flight!
