The interior is nicely done and the staff were friendly enough if just a bit slow. The mains were okay, if maybe a bit on the dry side (but I did have the turkey breast which is notoriously hard to cook without it drying out...) but the wine was lovely and vine leaves with cheese were also very enjoyable. Would I recommend it as a must visit in the city for food? No. But if you are in Bucharest for a few nights or a week, it is a relatively alright place for dinner some night.

Finally the prices are quite high, the tip is calculated within the bill by them and, if I have seen right, it's like 50lei... Which is quite a lot and more than 20% of the bill itself. Prices too aren't great in respect to similar places... Quite on the high side (I spent like a restaurant in Italy...)

The atmosphere of the restaurant is very warm. The waiters speak English. The order is delivered fairly quickly. The restaurant is quite spacious, there are several floors. Tipping is included in the bill and is 10 percent of the order. We ordered 3 meat dishes and a salad. Everything was delicious except for 1 dish. I ordered lamb chops and the food was very tough, the meat was hard to chew and my teeth hurt. But this is the only negative that spoiled the evening, in general, the dishes were tasty and satisfying. The waiters were friendly and the prices were average. In general, I recommend the restaurant and recommend to try “forget me not" cabbage meat rolls.

Food good, but not amazing. Service poor and delivered quite slowly and in a flat, unsmiling sort of way from both of the serving waiters. The stuffed vine leaves were good, the ice cream also very good. Decent salad served up with fired goats cheese. Fish soup also very nice.

Delicious traditional local food and wines. Traditional decor, original music, nice and helpful staff. The food is delicious, it's worth asking for help in choosing local dishes... Reasonable prices, the service speaks English. I definitely recommend - must try in Bucharest!

This is the first Romania restaurant we went to, so I was pretty excited given the raving reviews. However, the food wasn't what I expected. We kinda expected the "One more salad" to have a good mix of lentils, roasted peppers, avocado, onions etc. The bowl that came looked like a full bowl of lentils with some condiments. Might as well put it as a side, not a salad. I was so disappointed, it didn't even get a photograph. None of my friends liked their food either. 'God Help me' meat balls were nice but they were lost in the sea of mashed potatoes. So may God help me with the potatoes.

Great experience (from somebody who doesn't know anything from Romania). Typical romanian food really tasty and the ambient as well, with the live music 😉🎻🪗

Not bad ribeye with chips but not hot enough to melt the big piece of cold butter put on top with pieces of parsley. Cooked potatoes on the side of lamb chops and fish really bad. Overselled on the menu, definitely not worth the 1 hour 40 minutes wait on a monday night. Not pleased by the waiter wanting in addition to be paid in a certain way for his convenience. A bad experience.

We had sarmale and vitel here, it was really delicious. The waiters were so polite and nice. It’s really the best place we visited since coming to Bucharest 😊

Definitely the best restaurant in the old town centre of Bucarest. Quality food and the only one with kind waiters. Very nice location also. Good experience I recommend.

The food was delicious. The service was a bit slow. I'd recommend it, overall.

We went to this place for dinner because it was in the center and it had been recommended to us. I personally didn't like the atmosphere too much, perhaps because it was during the week and there weren't many people. The lower part, which was empty, had the charm of looking like a wine cellar, but the upper part was very cold. The food dishes were good, but rather small in size and the price was more expensive than other restaurants with a similar theme.
