It's the most creepy feeling I had for ages after entering this place. Such a waste of space in the middle of the city, with an enormous potential, stay unused. Those shops who still works have a look and feel of communist era.

What a dump ! A relic in the center of the capital. To access the toilets you must go through one of the shops. Only in Romania. In front of this "shopping centre" you will be greeted by a strong smell of urine. Steer well away.

The place is a bit strange, the entrance doesn't look inviting, the atmosphere inside was like a closed place. Outside the mall there is a store called New York, excellent and inexpensive clothes for the whole family

Old, needs to be renovated/rebuilt. Was still ok 15 years ago but not anymore. You can find common stores, but it doesn't have many great brands left. It's a pitty because the location is great.

Not very well put together. Ugly. Only H&M seemed to be a normal store. Hard to enter, walls where there should be open spaces to flow from on store to another blocking your path! Very unsafe low/ or no lighting in the 'garage to mall entry'. Dirty, full of graffiti in some areas outside as well as inside. Could not locate food court despite their website listing one!! In all very ugly and sad to say not a fun shopping experience.

A big disappointment for this mega store which is one of the oldest in Bucharest. Although the location is one where you'd expect to find modern, upscale stores, both the storefront, which looks like the store has been abandoned, and the interior are a big letdown. The location is extremely attractive and it is a shame that it is not used to its true value

Worst mall ever... almost no open stores (most are closed permanently), nothing to do here but H&M , and its empty most of the day (according to the sfores here...)

A waste of time. And the toilet is in the back of a store that sells chlotes and the signs are confusing. It looks like the store is in the wrong place in a coridor and you are not imideatly thinking to search for the toilet in the back of a random store. Half of the mall is not operational. And the vibes are off putting.

I entered for a gift silver earings with pearls (from culture) around 50 Euro resolved in 5 minutes at the floor level, it is effective immediately you find if you're aware what you are looking for. Since the years 1970 when I first entered, nothing has really changed in terms of convenience and accessibility. Just the socialist products where replaced with the kinda capitalist ones. :)

its a shame how untaken care of the building itself is. it has basic fast fashion brands and the rest are local jewelery shops which is good. but considering this is romanias most touristic area they should really do better

This is the most depressing shoppingcenter I was in ever. Apart from the H&M and a view little shops it is worthless. Don‘t waste your time coming here. It was like a ghost town.

A cute, with plenty of history and diversified mall in the Unirii Square of Bucharest. Accessible prices, nice fashion stores, great cosmetics shops (such as Douglas, Kendra etc) with a local eatery such as megapan (which i highly recommend, super good and fresh) and other facilities (such as a gym and a supermarket). 10/10 I'd highly recommend!

Outdated and a bit depressing. 2 out of the 4 floors were closed, and the ones that were open were dark and a bit run-down. It would be an excellent location for a modern shopping mall, but instead there's this semi-depressing shopping center.

This one is really has almost no active shops in it very few like H&M, Koton, Sephora, some local brands, once it used to be famous but today all the new malls took the place.

I have no idea how this place works, as it seems completely unplanned and chaotic on the outside and on the inside. If you forget your passport somewhere and need to get a new one, there are several photo places to get the mugshot photo.

Being the Mall of the City Center ,the oldest and probably the best known one,it is also one of the worst kept and most crowded ones too.Not a gread deal of variety, with shady shops and automatically products too,but you also find watchshops, perfume shops and clothing shops that you don't have in other parts of town.

I visit this shopping center after a long period of avoiding it. Unfortunately, the old dull style is still present. The illumination is very weak and there is a lack of shinning. Looks like 80's.

  • 2/5 Erlend S. 1 year ago on Google
There are no maps of the shopping centre. One has to walk around the whole place looking at stores to hopefully find what they're looking for. To make matters worse, each floor seems to have escalated in different places making the whole place seem more like a maze than a shopping centre. It's also fairly dark and dingy. It needs to be updated.

  • 2/5 Roberta M. 2 years ago on Google
There are amazing shopping centre in Bucharest and this is just like a building with few shops. It is not really safe and not so cleaned. Stradivarius was my favourite shops, but actually it is closed.

  • 2/5 Liliana T. 1 year ago on Google
Upper floor stores are mostly closed (shut down, out of business, abandoned), there's not much to buy there. They have a Vodafone store, three makeup ones, some clothing ones and a ton of jewelry displays, but there's nothing to grab, really. Nothing you can't find in nicer malls, that is, where you can shop around, compare prices and then make a purchase. Most people who come here hit McDonald's or the underground Mega Image and then skedaddle. The restrooms are small, well hidden, and derelict. I'd not use them.

  • 2/5 Sander D. 1 year ago on Google
A very sad and depressing mall…. Very few interesting stores. Almost all clothing and jewelry. Low ceilings, dingy pathways, broken escalators - dislike.

What a shame to have this monolithic mall in the heart of Bucharest and have it look abandoned at best! It's also false advertisement, the exterior doesn't really prepare you for interior or the shops. I really hope they do something with it, even demolish it.

  • 1/5 Veronica M. 1 year ago on Google
Worst shopping centre ever ! The parking and the entrance to the store are looking like Silent Hill movie quest. You can’t pay the parking tickets cause the “automat” isn’t working.

  • 3/5 Gerald A. 1 year ago on Google
It is a dated and honestly depressing shopping center ,it is very dated and barely has anything to offer apart from a few international shopping stores like H&M and sefora as well as KFC and Macdonalds, apart from that it has many empty shops within it and an old soviet looking interior

I really don't like this shopping center. You can see that is one of the oldest in Bucharest. The location is great but the stores are not so great. The parking lot is the worst, the cheapest in the centre, but the worst by far.

Far from the best shopping centre in Bucharest. Has seen better days. Houses a large H&M, Collins and a few other stores. Heaps of cosmetic stores and jewellery stores, a huge McDonalds, KFC, pastry outlet and a Carrefour at the rear.

Unirea Shopping Center is a bustling mall in the heart of the city. It offers a wide range of shops, including fashion, electronics, and home goods. The mall is spacious and well-maintained, making it a pleasant shopping experience. There are also several dining options available, offering a variety of cuisines. Parking facilities are convenient, and the staff is helpful. Whether you're looking to shop or grab a bite to eat, Unirea Shopping Center has you covered.

An old shopping mall in the city center. There are a few stores, some known brands and some small boutiques, but there are lots of unoccupied stores, as well. Even the super market located in the shopping mall was closed. It didn’t have the typical shopping mall vibes.

Every time we come to Bucharest we go to Duclas parfum store in this shopping center but yesterday I was very disappointed I bought 3 soaps Seller girl said me that I need to pay 130 Lei and in hotel I saw that she added body cream from 35 Lei that I didn't buy. It was very unpleasant to be so blatantly received.

  • 1/5 Kuba J. 6 months ago on Google
Literally the worst shopping center I ever visited. About 50% shops are empty, meaning not even there. It's about to be closed soon, I believe, or at least it looked like that inside.
